Service is awful. I mean the worst. I’m sitting in this place while posting this review. I called and the guy says 10 minutes. Well i got here half an hour ago. 2 other customers and I count 10 yes 10 cooks behind the counter. And I’m still sitting here posting my review. Same thing happened over the summer when I ordered a pizza. Stupid me gave them a second chance. Fyi the pizza sucked.

The place is amazing, good atmosphere, a real cold beer and the fisherman’s platter is the best in the Lowell area. Customer service was excellent, delivery pretty fast specially that when I ordered, which was in the weekend. What I like the most is the consistency of the food.

If you want a wrap maybe you’re in the mood for a sub or you have that craving for seafood, well no matter what you decide on Jimmys too is the place to be… Where do I begin? The fried haddock plate with the Cole slaw& fries are om nom nom the jimmy super steak is very godly and the chicken wings are top notch. This establishment is deserving of my rare 5 stars!

My go to place near my work. They have a varied menu and their pizza, subs, soup and seafood offerings are all delicious. Staff has always been friendly and willing to go the extra mile. Strongly recommend chicken cheesesteak, new teriyaki steak bowl, fried shrimp, chicken Ceasar wrap.

I like Jimmy’s, as long as I avoid the pizza. Poor crust, I can’t even explain it. Somewhere between a saltine cracker and cardboard. That’s all I’ll say here. Seafood– great. Subs, Great. Salads– Great. Small tap with a couple of decent brews, to boot while you’re waiting. All awesome. If I want subs, I’m at Jimmy’s; if I want pizza or wings, I’m at Angelina’s. I won’t be ego-maniacal enough to tell you to «fix» the pizza– obviously, someone wants it that way, but if you did, it’d sure go a long way to earning my business permanently, and bumping the streaky Angelina’s from my phone list.

I work in a hotel in Lowell and have recommended this place quite a few times so I decided to give em a try myself. I liked it. Very pleasant over the phone, Cole slaw is yummy, not he best I’ve ever had but it was good! Buffalo chicken dinner was delicious and hot, delivery was fast!(Side note: buffalo chicken was a dry buffalo not a wet saucey buffalo.) Overall very happy with this place and will continue to recommend and eat here

I love love love the pizza here. I usually order a cheese with extra red sauce, garlic and spinach. It is seriously the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. Crazy as it may sound, whenever I have a bad day, I get this pizza and it turns my day around. I live in NH and make special trips to come here because it’s that good. My only complaint-I wish they would open a location in the Nashua/Merrimack NH area. :-)

The food here is consistently good, and the service(ordering take out over the phone or at the counter) is always pleasant and efficient. Their pizza sauce is on the sweet side, which is not my favorite kind, but it’s good enough that I keep coming back for more! The ingredients on pizzas, subs and salads are always fresh. I usually order a Greek salad along with whatever subs, pizza or dinners we are getting. The salads are always very watery, which is weird, but I appreciate that they’re washing the lettuce! I was cooking something at my own house late one night(after Market Basket had closed for the night but years before Stop n Shop came to town) and I realized I didn’t have the garlic I needed for my recipe. Since Jimmy’s is right near my house I walked over and asked if they would sell me some garlic, realizing it was a very odd request and honestly expecting them to either say no, or if I was really lucky to sell me a garlic clove for a dollar. The young guy at the counter said«sure» and came back a few minutes later with a good quarter cup of minced garlic(they minced it, it was not from a jar) packaged in a plastic to-go container. No charge, even though at that time I was by no means a regular customer. Because of that neighborly niceness(and the good food) I am a very regular customer now.

Pretty much obsess with the steak tip dinner, I never really order steak tip from a pizza shop cuz they usually give you tiny portions for a lot of money but this place is great with portions and it taste so good, I would recommend it. Also the chicken wings, cheeseburger club(is huge), fish, and strip clam rolls are delicious. The only thing I didn’t like was the pizza, it wasn’t bad but the sauce they use is too sweet for my liking but everything else makes up for it.

I am a big fan of the grilled chicken subs as well as the meatball subs. Very good and consistent. I have been a customer for well over 15 years.

I order from here frequently, they have the best steak tip Caesar salad and it always has a good amount of steak! It’s always delicious and I’ve never had a problem! Tonight we also got the chicken teriyaki chicken and another thumbs up for that!

Steak tip dinners with choice of sides, mine being salad and rice are amazing. Steak bomb subs also good. Hard working crew there. Very busy. The Lowell cops go there to eat regularly.

I get consistently good food here. From the fried haddock dinner(with onion rings and side salad), to a bacon and egg sub, to a grilled chicken salad, it’s all good. The décor is standard pizza house with sports on the TVs, which isn’t my thing but I always get mine to go. They serve beer here, too! Parking can get tight on a busy night. The staff has always been nice to me.

We had a gyro sub/wrap, a jimmy’s special steak sub, spicy fries and cole slaw. The fries and gyro was good. The steak sub was a bit bland, missing seasoning. Cole slaw«okay».

I go here a lot. A lot. I mostly go for the fried strip clams. Their tartar sauce is so good. Perfect consistency. The wing dings are good, too. I get them plain and ask for one buffalo sauce and one bbq sauce and mix them and then take my wings and dip them. The flavor is great. Try it! Their turkey club is huge and perfect. Not too fond of their fries. Switch it up for the seasoned fries instead! Their grilled chicken was bit dry and lacked flavor. I got it once on top of my salad. Thank goodness for dressing. Oh, and can’t forget the beer! Sometimes, I go with my husband after a long day at work to chill out with a pitcher and appetizers. Sometimes when we go as a group, we can get pretty loud but no one has yet to tell us to calm down or keep quiet. They’re nice. Nice atmosphere :) They have bigger TVs now which is great. You’re welcome.

I’ve been eating at Jimmy’s since it’s opening weekend in 1995(First sandwich: Haddock Sub, which is still great). It replaced a below average rat trap pizza place and took things up a notch. The premise is simple, keep a clean restaurant, remodel it every three years, and serve the best food possible. In that time Jimmy’s has become a Highlands Institution. It’s the place everyone grows up on in the neighborhood. While I’ve never been a big fan of their pizza, there is one thing that keeps me coming back for more. The grilled chicken at Jimmy’s sits in a brine overnight and than is thrown on the grill. Usually most sub shops skip the first part and go straight to grill. Not Jimmy’s, I’ve never had a Chicken Cheesesteak or Grilled Chicken Salad anywhere as good Jimmy’s. They do seasonal specials as well, Chowder is good on Friday and I hope they bring back the Chicken Cobb Wrap in the future. Recently their prices have increased a lot, I understand food cost is going up across the board and it effects everyone from farmer to wholesaler to buyer and consumer. Not their fault, but a small cheese pizza shouldn’t be more than 7.95 with tax included. Also I can never get a consistent price on the Greek Salad with Grilled Chicken. They carry top of the line feta cheese which makes for a great combination. But every time I order I either get charged $ 9 or $ 11 which makes no sense. Please just put it on the menu and assign a single price to the item.

So we live close enough to Jimmy’s Pizza Too, that we always do pick-up so I can comment on their fabulous customer service, the great quality of their food, and the extremely reasonable prices. Every time we go here the order is 100% correct, and all I can say is that sometimes we have a big crowd and some very picky eaters! Never has the order been wrong or messed up, NEVER!!! Honestly sometimes I don’t know how they don’t occasionally mess it up(it gets that crazy)! I find the staff to be some of the friendliest people I have come in to contact with, as soon as you walk up to the counter a friendly smile with a «Hi. What can I get you?» What more can you ask for?

This is just for the Pizza and subs: Definition of Mediocre: Moderate to inferior in quality AKA Jimmy’s Pizza I might even go so far to say pathetic. The pizza was so boring and bland I had once slice and was OVER it. Saw the Unilocal rating and opted for a large, really wish I hadn’t. Can’t comment of the fried seafood. However, I could see the platters and they were huge and greasy looking. Won’t be back. From my experience you’re SOL when it come to Pizza in Lowell. Stick with the gross big chains, at least you know what to expect.
