Jerry’s Subs and Pizza

I actually really like the food at Jerry’s. Never had an issue there. I don’t visit very often because they’ve put themselves out there politically with their advertisements on the radio and it was a turn off.
The other problem I had was with the cleanliness of the place (as noted in the picture) there wasn’t really anyone there at the time I was and the floor could’ve used a vacuum and the soda machine could use some cleaning as well. Evidently there’s a drainage problem because they had an impromptu drain for water going into a bucket just kinda needs some TLC :\ Its as if the staff doesn’t take the investment to make the place all that it could be

Waste of $ 30. My husband and I came in on a Sunday around 2:30pm. There was another couple and a man who has already ordered and were waiting on there food when we came in. We ordered 2 large Philly cheesesteaks and fries. It took 35 minutes just to get our food and once it came out, we were shocked. The bread on the subs was SOLID but that was not what I was most upset about. There was barely any meat on either of the subs so the majority of the sub was over toasted bread. It was crumbling just to the touch! It looked as if they took the meat required for one steak and cheese and split it between our two subs! I paid $ 16 per combo and THAT is what we are given? It was so disappointing that we wanted to give the food back and get our money back and go elsewhere but the man behind the counter had an attitude so it wasn’t worth it. $ 32 total for shit food. I could’ve walked my ass across the street and gone to Golden Corral for that much. The establishment should be ashamed and embarrassed at the quality of their food. Gordon Ramsey would lose his shit. Bottom line, save your money and go elsewhere!

NEVER ORDER FROM HERE! I placed an order today and the lady never told me how long it would take. So anyway, I gave my card information and waited. I was at work at the time so when about 45 minutes go by I end up calling them back to check on the food and the guy who answered said yeah I said its going to take about an hr. I said I was never aware of how long it was going to take if I knew that then I would’ve ordered from some place else. So then I asked him how long would the guy take to be here and he said 5 or 10 minutes, and I said well if he is not here by that time I would like a refund. Okay, now fast forward. so the delivery man arrives and I asked him «do you mind if I ask what takes so long» and his response was «you’re not the only one needing a delivery!» I said «wow, I didn’t say I was. someone doesn’t want a tip» and he said «no I don’t need your tip, but give me back my pen.» I said okay and my coworker said would you like another pen? and the delivery guy responds no I don’t want your pen. And as he leaves he calls my coworker an ASSHOLE!!! I was soo SHOCKED at what he said. I never ever witnessed anything like that from someone in CUSTOMER SERVICE! if the manager contacts me personally to have this resolved and apologize I will change my review. But until then I would not recommend going to this establishment!

Way too much cheese, rediculous, impossible to eat, soaked through with grease. Had to use knifes and forks but knifes and forks were floppy. Both bathrooms were broken and I question how the employees are washing their hands. I literally felt sick afterwards.

The sub would be good if it wasn’t half empty. It’s like they forget all the steak every time. And they forgot my drink when they delivered. Probably will never go here again

Wanted take out for the family on Sunday evening. Called to see what time they closed and the person who answered could not understand the question. What time do you close today?, should not be a hard question to answer. Used the online ordering system to avoid further verbal confusion on the store’s part. Order was filled as requested. Cheesesteaks were really good. They now have skinny fries. I hate thick steak fries or wedges so this is an excellent addition for me. They even stayed crisp for the drive home. Large cheese pizza is $ 5.99 after 4 pm on Monday nights. Pizza is ok and a perfect complement to the cheesesteaks. We will definitely return when the cheesesteak craving occurs and we do not feel like making them at home.

It’s ok here at least they deliver. Sandwich always tastes good but they need a better method of transporting it to my door the fries are usually soggy and they never remember the malt vinegar. Except last night where it wasn’t properly closed and just coated the plastic bag it was in. But hey I would eat here again just wouldn’t go out of my way to get it.

Ordered a small chicken tender sub with fries and water. There were black particles floating in the water from the machine. When I showed it to the person at the counter they said I don’t know and I don’t really care. I think I’ve said enough.

Disappointed honestly.
First let me say I eat my cheese steak plain with meat and cheese only so I can grasp the true taste of the sub. The food came out fast and customer service was good but the taste was bland and had no seasoning. If they flavored there subs then this place would be a hit. About $ 10 for the regular size sub combo (thick cut fries and a drink) so it’s priced accurately.

What can I say. The food was tasty, the service was fast, and we were right ahead of the dinner rush. If I had one complaint it is that the subs are a bit on the pricey side.

? Place is a little creepy maybe I am not used to it. Ordered meatball sub and drink went to get my drink saw ants by soda machines. Nobody in the place I got my food and noticed they gave me a coupon if I came back, there is your sign. Okay I sit here and take some bites with reservations, the cheese pulls off the sandwich in one big string. I ate it until I hit something crunchy. Not wanting to break a tooth I stop eating because I never had a crunchy meatball sub. Needs improvement.

Among sandwich joints, one of the worst
For lunch on a Sunday, I had the Phillips crab sub and my wife had the original. The former, at $ 10, arrived with mini balls of crap cake resting unsteadily above mounds of lettuce and tomato, drizzled with ranch. The crab cakes, which resemble the frozen box ed version from the grocery store, promptly fell off a sandwich leaving me with a mouthful of bread lettuce and tomato. The cheese steak was all bread and very little steak. What little beef the sandwich contained was smothered in a sea of nasty processed cheese. Fries were slightly crispy, cakey wedges that were eerily uniform in cut. Will not be back.
I used to eat here occasionally since there was one near my former office location. Each time, I left pretty disappointed at the food quality and value. Among sandwich joints this is one of the worst.

Their pizza is ok but they make tasty cheesesteaks. The radio commercials got me curious to try out Jerry’s and I’ve been a fan since!

The radio commercials always intrigued me. Walked in and noticed that it was VERY hot inside (easily 80+ degrees). Placed order and waited 16 minutes for it to be ready — I thought this was a fast food. Was it tasty? Yes.

I used to frequent this Jerry’s when I worked in the area because it always hit the spot for lunch. I do not really care for their pizza, but if you want to try it, go on a Monday when a large cheese is 5 bucks. The subs are great — I like all of the choices they offer for bread and I have had about 4 different sandwiches and they were all stuffed and delicious. The fries are very good, and always cooked right. The guy working during lunch, Andy used to give you your money’s worth on the sandwiches and fries. The price is a little steep, but I always know what I am getting so that’s ok.

Ate at a Jerry’s for the first time in my life last weekend — I know — hard to believe — eh?! There just have never been on close to me until now.
I remember Jerry’s for all of the silly radio commercials with impersonators mimicking famous people — most notably Bill Clinton.
I was out furniture shopping and needed some lunch — so we stopped in here for the their traditional Philadelphia Steak n’ Cheese sub combo. Comes with wide cut french fries and a cold fountain drink.
I ordered mine with the works — on traditional sub bread — mayo, lettuce, tomato, onions, and cheese, plus I added some hot banana peppers and hot pepper relish to the sub. The sub was tasty, and the fries were excellent, cooked just right — crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Add a diet coke and you have a lunch that hits the spot.
Can’t wait to come back and try their pizza!
