Wow! Has this place changed! Business sold and new ownership means a whole new atmosphere. Not very pleased. We’ve been going here for nearly 8 years and loved the pizzeria feel. Always had some Italian music going in the background, which gave the place a cozy feel. Well, now I feel like I’m in a Mexican restaurant with fairly loud Latino tunes playing. Kids hanging out in the restaurant and in the parking lot, instead of families and friends like I remember. The food was kinda the same, but little attention was given to the order we placed, which really concerns me. The original owner always stopped by to check on us, say«Hi» and see if the food was good. Tonight, while the waitress stopped to check in, I never saw, or heard from the new owner. After 8 long years of patronage and some really fun memories, I doubt we will go back. Too much change to keep us coming back.

I have only eaten lunch here on a number of occasions and always pizza by the slice. Stopped in for lunch today, ordered, you guessed it, pizza by the slice. I really appreciate the ability to order how ever many slices you want, just the way you want them, as far as toppings. Ingredients are fresh and pizza was delicious. Slice size is very generous, that being said I probably ordered too many. Eating them in traditional style is a little messy since toppings are generous as well, impossible to keep some from falling off. One of these days I will have to venture into the menu a little bit, away from pizza. Service was very friendly and attentive. They have a nice little outside dining area for the good weather. A must try place at least once in my opinion, will probably have you going back for more.

The pizza was lacking some serious TLC! Where’s the sauce? Where’s the toppings??? They also never updated the website to reflect that they received our order/or that our order was complete. When we picked it up it was cold and blah. Wish I hadn’t wasted a cheat night on this pizza! :(

Primo’s subs and Italian pizzeria fare are tasty and satisfying. The Big Dooly is one of the best subs in the area. Nothing too fancy here, but ample servings and good food keeps me coming back and puts any chain pizzeria in the area to shame. I probably need to explore their menu in more depth, but every time I go old favorites won’t be denied.

Came for lunch. Got the stk n chz lunch special with fries and a drink. The sandwich was mediocre at best. Steak didn’t fill the sub, onions were barely sauteed, and the sub roll was baked too hard. The roof of my mouth hates me! While sitting down I noticed that the name on the outside doesn’t match the inside. Spelled two different ways. Same way on the menu. Oh, and my server had a totally different restaurants shirt on. I don’t know what this places real name is. The pizza buffet was WEAK and the restaurant had a general weird smell to it. I won’t be coming back

Born and raised in NY and searched high and low in Manassas for a decent Pizza. Not only is the pizza really pretty good NY style, their salad, greek salad and ziti with meatball baked dinner will satisfy an Italian fix. It’s a pizza joint more than a destination«restaurant». However, the place does a great family business. Lots of sit down customers. We usually get delivery. They are closed on Sunday. They are friendly and the price is right! Give them a try!

Best pizza and service in Manassas. Love the Gyro Pizza. A must eat. Victor and his crew really have earned my 5 star rating

Luncheon buffet has taken turn for the worse. Pizza was tasteless, soggy, greasy mess. The luncheon pizza appears to be prepared with a half the dough weight of a regularly ordered pizza. Thus, the thinness cannot absorb and cook the sauce & toppings properly. The Italian sausage appeared to be precook with a fast boil. Flavorless.

It’s been over a year and a half since my last review, and after seeing some negative reviews I thought I’d update my experience. We order here at least once per month for delivery. My kids order from the kid’s menu(hard to please but never disappointed!) but also enjoy their garlic knots and cheese bread. My husband always gets the Chicken Philly Sub and loves it. The Chicken Souvlaki is amazing and is one of the items I regularly order. I also enjoy their random soup selections — my favorite is the southwestern potato soup, but the potato chowder is also good.

Stopped here the other night to use a certificate. Place is nice, nothing fancy, our server was friendly. We ordered a supreme pizza and weren’t disappointed. Would come here again.

I was going to Petco and when I was driving into the shopping center I saw Primo Pizzeria. I was hungry so I figured why not. My brother and I decided to dine in. We were seated quickly. The place was a small dining room with a decorative and clean look. I was not offered a drink for 10 mins while I was seated. The server came over to our table directly to ask if we were ready to order. We would usually be ready but he hadn’t even handed us a menu! We quickly had to decided to order a XL Pepperoni and Sausage Pizza and an order of cheese fries. The cheese fries came fairly quick and they were plated beautifully. They were one of the best cheese fries I had ever had. The pizza came 15 minutes after. It was huge! I grabbed a slice and I went to take a bite and the cheese just slid off the pizza! I couldn’t believe it. A place that is labeled«Pizzeria» can’t even give me a good pizza. The same thing happened to my brother. I had 2 slices and was done. The taste was average at best but the construction was horrible. Hire better chefs! Never coming back. Total came out to $ 38.76. Huge waste.

Primo Pizzaria is located in a nondescript strip mall. The interior décor is also pretty nondescript, as is the food. The patio is a nice option though. I ordered the fried zucchini appetizer which is a huge serving for $ 7.25. After splitting between four people, there was still a bit left over. It was fresh and crisp and easily my favorite part of the meal. I also had a spinach calzone which was served with a large portion size and had good flavor. Nothing served was overly flavorful, and the sauce could probably benefit from some fresh garlic and herbs. The service was friendly and the food was served promptly. Primo Pizzaria isn’t setting the culinary world on fire, but it does serve classic Italian food in large portions with friendly staff in a timely manner. It’s a decent neighborhood family restaurant that I wouldn’t rave about but would certainly return to again.

Ordered delivery, arrived in about 40 minutes. Food was fresh but very bland and average-to-below-average quality. The prices are very high for food of this level of quality. The portion sizes are reasonable. The Fried zucchini was pretty good, but nothing special. The gyro was solid but absolutely not memorable. Very similar to Paisano’s gryos, and like Paisano’s gyros there were a few hard«rocks» in the meat that I had to spit out. Yuck. The fries that came with the gyro were pretty good but again, not great nor unique. The nachos were poor — very bland, poor quality chips, and mostly non-traditional nacho ingredients. Who uses mozzarella cheese as the primary cheese on nachos, and who makes nachos without salsa, sour cream, guacamole, and various fresh raw vegetables? I think these nachos used chili and chili beans instead of refried beans or seasoned ground beef… not a fan of that approach. I threw most of the nachos away, and I rarely waste food… Incredibly, the worst part(by far) was the pizza — I haven’t had pizza this poor in quite a long time. Haphazard arrangement of toppings(some pieces had few toppings, other pieces were loaded down), undercooked toppings(the onions were almost raw, even), low quality sauce, low quality cheese, and crust that tasted like it was designed to simulate staleness without actually being stale. Even grocery store freezer pizza like Totino’s, Red Baron, and Digiorno’s is far ahead of Primo’s pizza in quality. Far, far ahead. I’ve lived in Manassas for 5 years and avoided ordering from this place because I kept hearing that the food quality was poor. Now I know for myself that it is, and I’m not ordering from them again.

Really was a good choice for lunch. Was not crowded at all and had a small, but filling buffet set up. Would help if they labeled salad dressing and sauces. Other than that I would recommend a visit.

Great pizza! Great service!!! And good prizes! After being with paisanos pizzeria for a long time my family and I decided to change and try something new… We went for primos and deff not a single regret… Always trying to keep the costumers happy :) … The only thing I’m a Little disappointment with is that they are close on Sunday… But other than that’ their service is great! :)

Fooled by Unilocal reviews again. Sigh. Ordered garlic knots, a small white pizza and fettuccine alfredo which came with a side salad. Garlic knots. Where’s the garlic? They were dry, bland and a bit stale. And zero garlic on them. Just plain lumps of bread. I guess they were short on «knots» because there were 3 wedge pieces in the box. At least those had a TINY bit of garlic. It came with marinara sauce that barely qualifies to be called marinara sauce. It tasted like canned tomatoes with only the tiniest amount of spices. Final verdict on the garlic knots w/marinara… F. White pizza. Meh. It was ok. Just ok. Not bad. Not good. Crust was blah. Bread is definitely not this place’s strong point. Not too greasy. This pizza was supposed to have garlic though and again… where’s the garlic? Jeesh, this place needs help with their breads & garlic use. It was pretty much a small round of pizza dough with a thin layer of cheese. That’s it. Sad. Final verdict on the white pizza… D. Fettuccine Alfredo. This is such a ridiculously simple dish to make it should be pretty impossible for an Italian restaurant to screw up. Well, they did. Pasta was clearly a boxed brand. Sauce… well, it’s hard to judge the sauce because there was virtually none. I don’t like my pasta swimming in sauce, but this was basically bare pasta. If you’re going to go that light on sauce your pasta itself needs to be good enough to be in the spotlight, not boxed. Then there’s the chicken… good grief. How do you manage to make it taste so bland it must have been boiled then finished in the oven to look roasted… AND so dry it could be used as cotton? Too bad there wasn’t more sauce as these dry chicken shards would have soaked it up in an instant. Clearly premade chicken that sits waiting for use all day & is just reheated for the dish. Final verdict on the fettuccine… F. Side salad. Got caesar. Nearly naked. Sad salad. Verdict… F. My husband went to culinary school & worked as a chef at restaurants for many years. This place bombs on some of the simplest and most basic Italian restaurant staples. To fail so badly at these kinds of basic dishes the quality in the kitchen has to be miserable. Flat out miserable. We will not be eating here again.

The supreme pizza comes with cubed ham and some weird chunk of mystery meat. I wasn’t terribly impressed with the pizza.

I’ve had the opportunity to eat here twice in the last 2 months, both times with a large group of people(10+). The food is quite good here. I had a bacon cheeseburger and fries the first time and the grilled chicken salad the second time and enjoyed both meals. My burger was cooked perfectly, the fries are solid. The salad was nice and fresh and the chicken was cooked beautifully, nice and moist and well seasoned. With such a larger crowd, both times our orders came out correct, together and a good temperatures. No complaints by anyone about the food. The prices are reasonable and the portions are a good size. Service was friendly and we had several people helping both times to get our drinks and orders and separate bills coordinated. The place is tiny, but they were able to push tables together for us both inside and outside. No complaints about this place, it’s definitely great for large groups for a casual meal.
