PJ’s Coffee

OK. So some joker decided to change the listing for the gas station megalopolis to make it just the PJ’s. That means that I need to update my review to reflect my experience at the PJ’s and not the larger gas station, etc.
As evidenced by my previous statement, this PJ’s is attached to the Blue Harbor Point gas station. There is a drive thru, but i always go inside. The inside is smaller than most stand alone PJ’s, but has all of the essentials. There are several tables and even a comfortable looking couch. I bet this would be a great place to write some reviews on your iPad while your car gets detailed.
I usually stop her during the early morning hours and have only encountered two different employees. Both are incredibly friendly and seem to really enjoy their jobs. They are also very good at remembering regulars which I find impressive even if I am not quite a regular yet.
The coffee here, like at all PJ’s is great. In particular, their iced coffee is amongst the best in the business. I detect some hint of some non-​coffee ingredient in their iced coffee, but it actually adds rather than detracts like many other additional flavorings.
Their food selection could be greater, but the ham and cheese croissant is a pretty good breakfast item. I guess you could always go next door and get something, but I would like to see the addition of more food items. That would sure make me more likely to stop in on my way to work.
If you need coffee in Mandeville, this is a great place to stop, particularly if you need gas, a car wash or an oil change too.

SLOW. The «detailers» on the back end work pretty hard. Didn’t vacuum the trunk or behind the seat deck on a Miata. The inside looked fine, but nothing special. Went inside to use my debit card to get cash back for the detailers — store wont give cash back on debit — instead she said use the cash ATM for another $ 2 fee — REALLY???
I’ll probably look for another place to take my cars.

VERY dissatisfied !!! After YEARS of doing business here, we won’t return (and that’s for 4 of our cars !!!) Staff today had NO personality, the guy who waited on us was borderline rude, no offer of a beverage. We paid for an 18 point check along with the oil change and the ONLY thing they did was change the oil — they did NOT check the fluid levels, did NOT check the air filer, did NOT check our wiper blades and did NOT check the air filter, nor did they perform the lube. We had to ask to have the wipers replaced, after they presented us with the invoice. We asked about the air filter and the guy said «oh they’re good for 40k miles». THe invoice says, under services PERFORMED: «Air Filter — checked — OK». The invoice is a lie — it says that the 18 points were performed and checked when NONE of them were. Must be a change in management or service philosophy. Definitely do NOT recommend this establishment any longer. Go someplace else to get your oil changed. B A D Service — feeling annoyed.

It’s great having the coffee shop as part of the gas station and car wash, with hand detailing and drying. Plus, the coffee shop happens to be a PJ’s! Kudos to ya.

My car has never been so clean!

I’m an oil change, car wash, store and coffee customer. The facility is kept spotless, the staff is courteous, and service is outstanding. A recent issue was handled in a professional, timely manner by Marc Delery, Blue Pointe’s General Manager. It’s quite difficult to find this level of customer care and attention in businesses today. Because of Blue Pointe’s service philosophy, I remain a loyal customer, and recommend Blue Pointe to everyone.

My wife has taken her car here. The plus is that they’re open on Sundays. The minus is that they’re a bit pricey for a basic oil change, but they include a car wash, so it balances out. Apparently when they ask you if you want anything to drink when you roll up, that drink is free. I brought my wife’s car for an oil change and the staff was nice and they didn’t try to tell me any stories about how I needed to replace something. I didn’t use the car wash that day, but the code’s good for 30 days, so we’ll be back to use it. It’s convenient for what it is, but it’s not a destination type place. I don’t know how much other oil change places cost, but I know an exterior car wash is usually $ 6 from a gas station, at this place it’s $ 10.95.

The car wash is too slow and i did not like the people getting in my car cleaning it. the cupholders were dirty and it took over 50 mins to clean a Honda Civic. not coming back.
