The food is good here. This one was really busy but we were able to find a table. The desserts are very tasty and I had the baked potato soup which was really yummy.

I love this local chain. It is pleasant and hires young people from the community, which I always support. It is one of the few places that does the line up, take your order with a number and then find your own seat. Typically I HATE restaurants that do that, but this is like Starbucks with a better menu and efficient service, so the line is quick, the food is good and there is always a seat. Plenty of healthful food options and free refills of coffee. If they had loose tea this place would be perfect, but I am in LA and people here don’t drink real tea.

Coffee was awesome. I order a bagel &2 kids breakfast plate. The place was pretty busy when we got there before noon. I like how they have coloring books & crayons for the kids to grab while we waited for our food. There is free refills for coffee

The grinch definitely resides here the Sunday morning we decided to come here. No one had a smile and the staff was particularly unhelpful. The server brought out the food and asked if I needed anything. I said I would like some hot sauce and utensils and they told me I could find it «over there.» I went over there and there were no utensils so had to wait until some other staff person would talk to me so I could get some utensils. The Anaheim panini was ok. Better than fast food.

Normally this place is okay, but yesterday morning I ordered breakfast and asked for it togo. They brought it out on a plate so I kindly asked for it to be wrapped up. Once I got my food and bit into my sandwich there was the LONGEST hair in only half the sandwich which makes me think it was put there purposely. Never going to this location again. My money and time were unfortunately wasted.

This place is very enjoyable. It’s located at the Manhattan Village mall in Manhattan Beach. The food preparation can be a little slow, but when the food finally arrives it is always delicious.

I am a frequent customer at this Corner Bakery location and have normally had pleasant experiences here so I was really surprised when I went this morning and experienced the worst service. First, our order took 30 minutes to come out. Then, my panini was cold and the cheese wasn’t even melted. We had to ask for my caramel latte 3 times and it never came. Every single employee looked confused as hell, I don’t know if today was like new employee training day for everyone at the same time but it didn’t seem as if the establishment as a whole was running smoothly. Other customers were complaining about wrong orders and long wait times as well and the employees just all looked super confused and overwhelmed. At the end of my meal, I went up to the counter and it took a full 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged that I was even there and when I finally asked for my latte, the girl started making it. When she handed it to me I received no apology, no acknowledgment that they had totally messed up. Like I said, I loved coming to this place today was seriously the worst. I don’t know if I’ll come back.

Nice little pick me up after my Sunday run. Conveniently located walking distance from our run starting and ending point. My usual is the oatmeal and a frozen lemonade but I wanted something a little more filling. Today I saw a nice promo for the Flatbread Ham & Spinach and decided to give it a try. I had to add some avocado for an additional $ 1 and removed the ham. The meal combo comes with either potatoes or oatmeal. I chose the potatoes and ordered them extra crispy. The sandwich was very delicious, potatoes were perfect and frozen lemonade always quenches my thirst. Lorenzo was a very courteous server. Nice friendly smiles are always welcomed.

This place is ridiculous. Very very very slow and sloppy. If you’re ordering to go, expect to wait 20 to 30 minutes. Call your order ahead to save yourself the time and frustration. Panera is better quality and much faster. I think I’ve wasted enough time at this place. I will not be returning. Bummer since I do like the food.

1.5 stars. I haven’t been this disappointed since watching Dumb and Dumber 2. I understand this is a chain and it’s not supposed to be a gourmet sandwich shop, but have some respect for yourself Corner Bakery. The sandwiches and salads we ordered looked like they were put together by a blind donkey. The steak and cheese sandwich had pieces of roast beef thrown into the vicinity of the bread and I got conflicting advice about the dipping sauce. First I was told they ran out(hmm, maybe you should have told me that when I ordered). Then about 2 minutes later someone brought melted cheese sauce which was already on the sandwich when I got it. All 3 of us either had a dinner or side salad and the lettuce was so wilted you’d think it went through the washing machine then hung out to dry in the sun. We got my daughter a side of hummus and veggies and it was pathetic. The hummus was in a dish the size of a soy sauce dish you’d get at a sushi place while the carrots and hummus looked like pieces fed to goats at the zoo. Maybe presentation isn’t their thing, but if you’re going to throw food on a plate like that don’t open a business. The apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree and we witnessed an interaction with the manager and a disgruntled customer. I know the customer isn’t always right, but in this case if it’s a minor thing give the people what they want! The manager argued with the customer challenging this intelligence and the staff stood by dumbfounded at this response. It almost looked like the air went out of the employee’s sails after that which obviously spills over to the restaurant. If we weren’t in a rush to the airport we would have eaten at Tin Roof Bistro across the way, but we made the mistake of eating here. I literally wish I got those 45 minutes back in my life. I honestly feel bad for anyone who eats here act silly expecting to leave satisfied. It reminds me of hospital food except worse.

I used to love coming to the Corner Bakery about 5 years ago. I don’t know if my tastebuds have changed or the food has gone downhill, but now I think the food here is just average at best. For nostalgia sake, I decided to give Corner Bakery another try when I saw it while running errands. This location is located with the Manhattan Beach Plaza. The dining area seemed very small compared to other locations and there is a small patio dining area. Since there were almost no seats in the dining area and I didn’t feel like sitting outside in the humid weather, I decided to pick up my order. If you call ahead or order online, there is a separate line. My normal order is the Corner Combo, which is a half sandwich or salad or soup or pasta.(You pick 2). I chose the chicken pomodoro(grilled chicken panini) and the mixed greens. I have to say I was rather disappointed in the combo. The sandwich was sort of dry and flavorless, like it didn’t have enough sauce. The chicken was also very dry. My mixed greens veggies were limp and not fresh. The only redeeming item on my combo was the chips that came with it. The chips were crunchy and tasty, perfect thing to eat to wash away the disappointing meal. I definitely did not think this meal was very good. Maybe in a few years, when the nostalgia hits, I will try it again. Maybe the next time, the food will be better.

I will never come back here again. Breakfast… Quality of services made our experience severely poor. People who works there are not happy. They forgot the avocado on my wife’s Anaheim Scrambler and when I request for it, I kid you not, it’s the worst avocado. Meh…

Corner Bakery Café is always a great spot. The salad selections are always great. Service is fast and prices are reasonable. This Corner Bakery Café is located in the same shopping center as Macy, Ralph’s, CVS, Union Bank, See’s Candies and CPK. There’s plenty of parking. It’s an optimal place to meet.

Meh’…I’ve given this place several chances for breakfast because its a cute little café but I have yet to be impressed with anything(for breakfast). Its just ok– kinda plain tasting– nothing special or wonderfully delicious. The pictures of the food on the menus are very misleading. Perhaps the lunch is better but I don’t think I’ll be trying anything any time soon. Maybe the pastries are the way to go here. Coffee is decent.

I came here for the first time the other day to meet with a coworker for lunch. I must say, hands down this is way better than Panera Bread, where I went a few weeks ago with my bf. FOOD: I ordered the Club Panini on Sourdough while my coworker ordered a soup. The food was decently priced. My panini cost about $ 8 including a bag of chips. The sandwich itself was pretty warm but not hot when I got it. You could taste all the ingredients that were in the panini, which included turkey breast, bacon, cheese, and tomato. The sourdough, however, was a bit greasy and I had to use quite a number of napkins to wipe my hands. That was the only downside. Overall: 3⁄5 SERVICE: Superb service! We did not have to wait long for our food and the attendant made sure we had everything we needed. There was always someone continually pacing around to check on the tables while we ate. My coworker had hardly finished her meal and an attendant already swooped in to take her plates and tray away. She was very attentive and courteous. Overall: 5⁄5 DECOR/AMBIANCE: This location is not very big but there are a decent number of tables inside with a few tables outside. I felt a bit squeezed while I was inside as there is not much standing room for people to wait(both in line to order and to get your food). The place can also get a bit noisy at times so you might have to raise your voice when chatting. Overall: 3⁄5

Corner bakery is similar to panera bread, however they are a little less tastier The food is cool, nothing much to brag about, sandwiches are pretty tasty and the salad I get is basic The customer service I received from the cashier was a little off today. I work in customer service so I expected a Hi welcome to … But he just said next and I was like HI!!! And he just stared so I repeated my HI! And he said how can I help you, I just proceeded to order. Everyone else was excellent! Also they don’t really listen or pay attention to when you say«no tomato or no onion» they put it in there anyways but that could’ve been a simple mistake nothing to be extra harsh for Overall this is a cool place a for a quick bite to eat! The atmosphere is also nice, it’s quiet so you seem relaxed as you eat your meal

Stopped here to grab a quick lunch before heading to a business meeting and wasn’t overly impressed but didn’t have a bad experience. Corner Bakery Café is not exactly what I thought it was when basing it on the name. I actually wanted to grab ‘baked goods’ to bring to my meeting but when I walked in I realized this was more of a Panera-like establishment. I grabbed a bag of raisin crisps(sort of like a thin biscotti) to bring to my meeting and ordered a bowl of soup for my lunch. After a few minutes a waitress brought my soup to my table and I hung out for a while after to waste some time. This is a fairly busy spot for lunch and is located in a very congested shopping plaza. Since I only had soup and didn’t get to sample the raisin crisps I can’t provide an overly detailed review. But honestly, I felt like I was in a Panera Bread the entire time so for East Coasters reading this — think Panera.

Love Corner Bakery and the variety of food options. Everything is always fresh. crispy salads, freshly baked bread and yummy desserts too! My usual lunch here consists of soup and sandwich and usually the sandwich is the chicken pomodori. Always delicious. Simple concept, lots of options, good service and decent prices. Food is great and it’s always nice to have lunch when someone else is doing the dishes! I make terrific sandwiches, soups and salads but I sure do enjoy the occasional lunch out and Corner Bakery is at the top of my list!

My experience at this Corner Bakery location was as to be expected. Decent food. Friendly customer service. Clean dining area and beverage station. Not much else to say except the food was also as to be expected. Definitely not gourmet so also not going to be five stars. It’s on the outside of Manhattan Village so there’s tons of parking. I guess though, it would depend on the day and the time of day. Both indoor and outdoor seating.
