Great spot for a quick sandwich. I especially love their chicken noodle soup. The employees here are kind and friendly and get your order out quickly! There’s a large parking lot located right outside of the Subway in the Manhattan Plaza. Every time I come by for lunch, I am greeted and I enter a clean store with seats available. The best part is that it’s BYO joint and I can customize and see the making of my delicious sandwich!

I’m extremely dissapponted. Today I went into subway and they over charged me just to 1. Heat up my cookie(50 really?) And 2. To eat inside(45 cents) … craziness. The guy who rung me up said that all subways charge extra… but he doesn’t know how often I go to subway. Theif is charging everyone extra and probably taking it out if the drawer later… cause my veggie delight which usually 6 and change was 8 and change… weird when businesses unreasonably charge for silly things… S

No complaints here. Quick service and fresh ingredients. Wish the store was bigger as it was pretty crowded during dinner.

5÷10÷14 – If your store hours say you’re open until 12AM then at 11:45pm you should NOT be «pretty much CLOSED»… I.E.) sign was Off(but Unilocal said u were open as did google), chairs flipped up… So I called and a FEMALE answered, I asked, «are u guys open?», she said, «yea but were closing,» I said ok, well I’m outside can I come in to get a sandwich. To which she reluctantly replied, «uhhhh ya I guess». I was so appalled at her tone I said, «NEVER-MIND, thx.» And went to the Subway on PCH& Artesia(they actually stay open til the time they’re suppose to close)! I get wanting to go home… But THATSYOURJOB! If you don’t like it get a new one & if I were the OWNER I would seriously consider ur employees turning DOWN business. if you have the option go to the any other subway! They’re much nicer & are actually open during their business hours!

They get one star for being close to my office. That being said, I will start driving to the one a mile away from now on. Although I have had some okay sandwiches in the past, three of my last four visits have been awful. One sandwich on stale bread; one salad with tough chicken that was obviously sitting around for a while or something; and one salad with literally three tomato slices and four cucumber slices and the chicken was again tough. Won’t be back here.

I work up the road from this store, so it’s an easy and quick lunch option. The bread at this Subway store does not taste fresh and occasionally even tastes stale. One of the things I used to love about Subway was the fresh bread. I stopped eating Subway for a while all together because of the sandwiches from this store.

When I got to work I began to eat and the bread was borderline stale. So today I walk in and they had tons of bread… no baking smell present. I asked of they were fresh loaves and she said yes. I asked if they were made today and she said no. So I asked when were they made and she said yesterday. I asked if they had actual fresh bread, then she said no. Laziness…

OK, so its a Subway, national chain, etc. … but this one supports the Android App! I discovered the app while watching something on Television, so downloaded it. THISAPPISAMAZING! The app is extremely well designed, and simple to use … you boot the app and then: 1. Select which sandwich you want to order, and what size 2. Select what bread you want(or make it a salad) 3. Select if you want cheese(also how much) 4. Select what Veggies or other fixings(and how much) 5. Select any condiments(and how much) 6. Toasted or not 7. Meal deal(chips /drink) — select which chips and drink (All the while, it adds up your calories) There is also a «specials» section, where they have deals — apps get a free cookie in March. The BEST part … it tells you(and emails you) when it will be done, and emails you a confirmation. You walk in, bypass the line, walk up to the register and pickup your order! NOTE: Not ALL the Subways support it, but there is a map of the Subways in the area with an icon of a cell phone for the ones that do.

I work in this shopping center and occasionally drop in on my lunch break. The workers here are never friendly, not unfriendly, but a smile wouldn’t hurt. They always say«welcome to Subway» but without any enthusiasm whatsoever. Also, I can never hear or understand ANYTHING they say. I’m constantly asking them to repeat themselves. They need to talk louder and more clearly! Other reviewers are right, some workers do skimp out on veggies.

The workers here are friendly and they obviously have to say«Welcome to Subway» to everyone who walks in. There is always a line during lunchtime hours so that is a downside. Also, I wish they had a regular/unsweetened Iced Tea option from the drink machine. Otherwise every time I have had a sandwich from here is has been very good and I will continue to go here!

Am I the only one that ignores their«Welcome to Subway» bit? Sometimes its like a robot, as if they don’t even care that they say it. Either way, I never have a gripe with this place, or any other Subway for that matter… except when I think I’m trying to be healthy and come here for a week straight.

Tough to Unilocal anything really different about a place that is part of such a big chain but I can touch on a few relevant points. 1. This location is fairly small even by Subway standards. I would say that unless you want to eat your lunch with a huge throng of people standing in line watching your every single bite, close up and personal then you may want to take your order to go. There is a patio over by the other eateries in this shopping center that is a nice place when the weather permits. 2. There is always a line, especially when the $ 5 footlong deal is going on. They do move it pretty quickly but expect to wait at lunch. 3. There is nothing different about the food here and as a whole the service is good and quick. Bottom line is that you can get an ok, somewhat healthy lunch for a decent price. A solid three star eatery.

I stopped eating at Subway years ago because it used to make me sick. Literally sick. Yes, physically ill even if they did take off the lettuce and the cheese. I don’t know what got into me thinking I’d go there and have a great or even good experience today, but I’m writing this review to remind my future self no more Subway — ever. 2/3rds of the way into my sandwich, I bit into a piece of bone. So not only was my tummy upset like before, I almost broke a tooth consuming this inferior foodstuffs.

Oh Subway — how I can never reject your $ 5 footlong special, especially now that it is ‘FebruANY’. Almost a year and a half after Gil K. wrote his review, the folks at Subway are still consistent as ever — they still ask me EVERYSINGLETIME if I want avocado. I thought this was just me, as I basically ask for every single item in their vegetable selection, and figured they’d ask about the avocado as well, but now that Gil points it out, they DO ask every time. This specific Subway is tucked away in the Manhattan Beach Marketplace with Pechanga, Hummus Factory, CVS, Bristol Farms, and a whole bushel of other places and selections for lunch. This Subway always seems to be well-staffed during lunch, as, no matter how long the line is, and it’s usually out the door, I’m in and out in less than 10 minutes. Pro: Fast Con: Disgruntled workers Now now, I understand, it’s my fault that I want them to make a salad in my sandwich every time, but please, when I ask for«a lot of spinach», please do not drop 5 leaves on my sandwich. I get dirty looks from the workers every time when I tell them on average 3~4 times that I want«more spinach. more red onions. more jalapenos». If I got more on the 1st to 2nd run, we wouldn’t have to repeat this lovely routine on every vegetable [minus the pickles and olives]. Overall: I love Subway. Love it! Love the $ 5 foot-long deals [Black Forest Ham by default, but Subway Club when it’s on the special menu as well]. But I do not like your workers. 4-stars! Oh yeah — if you get a hot sub or ask for your sub to be toasted, they add tax. Or else, it’s the flat $ 5.

I go to this subway atleast 2 times a week. I love it because even though it is busy, they get through your order in 10 minutes because there are around 5 people working the line during lunch times. They do get a little annoying because they try to push the avocado hella! I’m not joking. I’ve never been passed without asking if i want avocado. anyways, the food is standard subway, but i want to give them 4 stars just because it’s so quick and convenient. pros: quick consistent cons: annoying with the avocado. quit it!
