Not impressed, first and last time here. Little host girl was rude as hell and the food sucked.

Great service! Friendly and courteous. Ordered the fajita plate and it had tons of fajita. And french fries plus salad, beans and rice. Three choices of salsas, tried them all and they were all great. I had a great experience here.

Their happy hour looks good, but it was half price for appetizers only. ordered the seafood soup, shrimp tacos, and friend got the fajitas 1⁄5 seafood soup– tastes just like the complimentary soup they provide but with frozen seafood bits. gave me food poisoning and I had severe cramping the next day 3⁄5 shrimp tacos– nice sized shrimp, other than that nothing special 1⁄5 fajitas– my friend said the meat was really poor quality, and actually enjoyed taco cabana better.

This place is awesome! The hotel recommended it and I’m glad I went. They serve a roasted jalapeño dip with tortilla chips that is to die for. The food was good and the margarita was fabulous.

I’ve been going to Costa Mesa for years and they have really dipped in quality. Place is intolerably loud and food taste less and less fresh with every visit. The oddest thing, after ordering, the waiter grabbed a bottle of ketchup and placed it on our the table. I was confused, did he get my order wrong. What would i need ketchup for? While later, he brings me my tacos and steak fries. Why steak fries? They were too soggy to even try and i have no idea why unseasoned fries are included with those plates.

Will never eat here again. A few months back, I dined here as I did very often before. My credit card was charged $ 5000 the day after. The charges came from a business in MTY. Up until then, I had not given that card to anyone nor used it at all. It was a fairly new card. The server was the first person besides myself to ever handle the card. I hadn’t even used it to pay anything online. In other words, I am 100% positive that the card was secure before using it here. I called management and had to say I was going to talk to the owner. After I said the owners name(I don’t actually know him but do know his name), they said the manager was available. I explained the situation. She apologized and promised to follow up. Nothing. Come to find out from 3 of my friends, they all have had the same thing happen at this location and restaurant. I used to dine here at least once a week. Not any more. The servers will rob you blind. Check your account activity.

Bienvenidos… home sweet home!!! Here’s where my roots are ladies and gentlemen! This is the newer location of the good olé original on 11th St. This will be short and sweet… Margaritas, the si, si, señorita best… the chimichurra sauce with chips, deliciosa! Then for the grande finale, chipotle chicken. Done and dusted folks… Mexican food for real!

Excellent service from Rick, unbelievably friendly staff and the food was to die for… it almost seemed like anything we asked for was not even an issue purely a pleasant and warm family experience!!! I would give it 10 stars if I could!

Enjoyed Costa Mesa ! I really liked the queso with chorizo appetizer. I had the beef fajita tacos, and my girlfriend had the steak, guacamole… excellent. The waiter was nice, and attentive. Kids will love it too.

We’ve been to both 11 St and N 10 St locations and the food and service was great. The only problem with both locations is that the inside walls are stucco and the noise inside reverberates. It is very difficult to carry on a conversation with your dinner companions. We normally just eat and wait to talk until we leave the restaurant. They could mitigate the noise problem with some noise absorbing art pieces located around the dining area.

It’s one of my favorites places in the Valley. you can’t go wrong with this place. Service is good, food is great, Musicians are good. Caldo Tlalpeño is just something special.

This is Mexican food at its worst. The beans were hard and stiff. Why would they serve them like that? Do they not care about quality. The rice is very bland and the American enchiladas are a joke. No flavor whatsoever. The fajita tacos are the only thing acceptable. The only reason I can think of why this place gets so packed is the nice tables, art, and music. The food is way over priced. $ 10 for bland enchilada plate and $ 12 for fajita plate. You have to pay extra to get flour tortillas with your plate. The waitstaff speaks very little English, so if you cannot speak Spanish be prepared to be frustrated. The noise level here is extremely noisy so expect to yell for others to hear you. We’ve been here twice and the first time was okay but this time was unacceptable. Also, they add gratuity for their poor service, so expect to overtip. After all you are buying into the«fine dining» experience attached to the restaurant’s name.

My family loves a good botana, not at this place. Overpriced, fajitas were very tough, fatty & tasteless. Chips stale, sauces were not very good either. This is not the place to get a decent meal unless you just don’t care. They have taken bad food to a new level.

A co-worker suggested this place. I was not all that impressed as I am used to TexMex and costa Messa is probably more authentic. Ordering was ackward as I don’t speak Spanish and the waitress didn’t speak much English but we managed go work things out. I had the stuffed poblano pepper. Ample porions and the price was ok. The house margarita was awful though The caldo was very good as a starter. Happy birthday for a guest was REALLY annoying as the lights were turned off and the music blasted.

The food was super cheesy and greasy. Flour tortilla was too thick. Not a fan. Portions are extremely huge though. However there was a live band playing in the restaurant. That was kind of nice!

Bomba Mexican Food + Fully Stocked Bar! The few times that I’ve been here, the food has been on-point. The bartender can whip up pretty much anything that you ask for, but I keep going for the Signature Margaritas. Yum! Try the Shrimp Tacos, and Frozen Mango Margarita + Blue Moon!
