Customer service was amazing. I just wish I liked the food more.

Had some take out here — it wasn’t bad actually! I’d rate this above average compared to typical Chinese places(food cooked pretty fresh, plenty of options, and fast!). I wish their fried rice was more flavorful, but they had good selection with a very good value bundle along with generous portions! I’d certainly be game to try this again; the Kung Pao chicken stood out.

Usually, Panda Express provides great service and a wonderful family meal. Unfortunately, this is not the case if you arrive at the restaurant any time close to their closing hour. Our party of six came in at 9:55 and began our orders in the dining room. The available options seemed limited, but we were expecting some reduction in choices due to the late hour. However, as our server delayed in fully filling our requests(while 2 other servers filled drive-thru orders) the«choices» became non-existent. By the time we actually made it through the line, 4 out of the 6 of us had requested items that were available when we entered the line, but were«all out» before we reached the end. Our servers were not apologetic and one gentleman even went through and told the servers, «one minute to closing we are only selling what is on the line». This was a Friday night, after a school activity and my stress level was extremely high. After checking out, I asked to speak with the manager. She was extremely polite and considerate and explained that Panda’s policy is to make anything that customers request if the dining room is open, even within minutes of closing. This philosophy is obviously not shared with individuals who interact with customers, as their statements and actions explained the exact opposite. My hope in posting this review is to save someone else the frustration we experienced this evening. If you arrive before closing and are told that you have no options other than the sparse items remaining, ask to speak to a manager. She will be accommodating and explain that they will cook to order. The trick is to do this before you check out and unwittingly accept an inferior experience.

So I came 45 min before close. I told them what I wanted and was informed it was close to closing, they had closed the kitchen down. I could have half a broccoli beef or a few other random leftover entrees take Em or leave Em. I left. I understand not having it ready but not even being willing to make it with 45 minutes left? That’s just lazy and poor service.

WORSTSERVICEEVER. I’ve gone here maybe 3 times, and the drive through seriously takes 20 minutes to go through, even when there’s hardly anyone in there. They’ve also messed up my order twice, even though it was right on the receipt. Employees are impolite and service takes way too long. Great franchise, but this particular store has a lot of problems. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would.

I want to thank all the folks at Panda Express for being gracious and wonderful hosts. Our son and his friends love eating at at Panda, so what better place to to have his surprise 16th birthday party. Even though it was on a busy Friday night, the Panda folks kept all the food fresh and were very attentive to everyone. The teenagers all had a great time. Thanks Panda Express for being part of the McKinney Community!

I placed an order yesterday for delivery, then found out that they don’t deliver. Not their fault for my blonde moment, but I politely asked for a refund, they said they would, but I check my card account and the order is still there(made the order at 1, still there at 5). Eventually, I did get a refund yesterday, but was still disappointed with the fact they did not refund me whenever I asked, yet instead when I had to make a complaint. I really wanted my chow mein, :-(so I’ll give PE another try; not this one, however.

I’m very impressed when I walked in this Panda. The store was super clean and the food was fresh and hot. Not like back home in Cali none of the Panda store are like this one. Great customer service. Super friendly staff. We got our orders, paid and out the door. Fast & easy. The food quality was decent. I love the orange chicken. Thats the must have when you come to Panda. Didn’t care much for the chow mein kinda on the dry side. Glad there’s a Panda in our neighborhood.

Food is good«when» they get your order right. Customer service isn’t very good. Only drive through Chinese food in Mckinney close to home. But dang they are consistently getting the order wrong. They either need more training or hire people that can hear and get the orders correct when filling them.

Not much more there is to say about a huge franchise. Servings are good proportion to price and the customer service, albeit a little autonomous, is not rude.

This is the only drive thru Chinese restaurant in Mckinney. So, there’s really nothing to compare it to. I always get the Kung Pow Chicken with Chow Mein. It is consistently good. I have not had bad service, but I have only gone through the drive thru. I can only give it 3 stars because I know it is not amazing Chinese, but it hits the spot when I don’t want to go into a restaurant or wait to have it delivered.

Food is good, service is «meh»… hit or miss. I’ve never had great customer service here. PLUS… at night they don’t turn on their outside lights so it looks like it’s closed but it’s not. It really is a hazard and I don’t understand if it’s just that something’s broken or they’re just being cheap. If they’re being cheap, they need to give up and shut down because this is Mckinney and the nicest part of Mckinney, not the ghetto… BTW… Try the Angus Steak & Mushrooms, it is bomb-diggity($ 1 extra, but worth it!)

The wife talked me into stopping by here since it is right down the street from us and I wanted Chinese food and she said the food was«Ok» for the money. The place looks very clean and well maintained and I notice when driving by the drive thru is always packed. We ate inside. I ordered the chow mein, orange chicken and some kind of glazed fried beef. The wife ordered some different items but I sampled her’s as well. This is by far the WORST Chinese food I have ever had! The sauces tasted like cheap liquid extract candy, extremely sweet and annoyingly tart and the meat was very dry, both chicken and steak. The noodles were very dry as well… I ended up dumping the food out and almost asked for my money back but I didn’t want to be a jerk. I have eaten at most of the Chinese food restaurants in the area and this one is really on the bottom of my list now. I am shocked and I sit in «Ahh» that so many people want this food seeing the traffic they get.

Americanized Chinese food. Love it! I usually end up at Panda Express because my son wants it. He gets his orange chicken and I can have steamed veggies and kung pao or what not. Food is average and consistent.

We go about once a week only because it is close. The food is always barely warm if that. It has good flavor and good prices they just need to figure out how to keep it warm. Usually have to wait in line inside awhile.

The food is good and typically pretty fresh! The choices are pretty wide for a fast food chinese place. I like mixing it up every time and trying something different for the entrée’s. It’s great to go and pick it up for dinner, but that’s where they have their problems. The drive-thru takes F-O-R-E-V-E-R! I’ve waited 20 minutes before, and once your in line your stuck! They really need to figure out a speedier way of getting the food out fast in the drive-thru!
