Not sure I can officially give any stars but I just called to ask about crab legs and the girl that answered didn’t even know what I was talking about. I just asked about any all you can eat or other specials and she couldn’t tell me anything other than Thursdays they have a pound for a certain price after she put me on hold to ask someone else??? Unless this is her first day… not sure I’d have someone who doesn’t know squat answer the phone. Haven’t even been here yet… first impression… fail.

Had the sweet whites app. Good quality product… its a shame it was overcooked and dry. Dynamite shrimp taco good but very skimpy on sauce. I waited to eat it till I saw a server. Waited 20 min. Sweet Potato fries perfect and crisp. They took guiness off the tap choices. I’ve loved this place in the past but this time it was disappointing.

Having had a bad experience at Ms. Apple’s seafood shack 2 hours before, I decided to go to this place and check it out since Unilocalers raved about here as well. I was actually quite impressed and found the prices to be quite fair and accommodating. They had plenty of combos and a variety of different starters that were shareable. We arrived around 8 and I didn’t know what time they were closing but they did look like they were starting to clean up a bit. The server was Rachel and she was beyond nice and very helpful in explaining to me some of the dishes that I had questions about. Not once did she give me the feeling that I was rushed to make a decision. My bf ordered 1 dozen raw oysters, I ordered the Molly sampler(i think that’s what it is called) and something frito something something. Calamari stuff. The mahi was a tiny bit overcooked and dried out but the shrimps and scallops were great. But what I absolutely loveeee was the bread they gave to us while we waited for our foods. It was so soft, so sweet, and completely delicious. It was softer than any bread I had ever eaten. Accompanied with warm weather, having good service provided to us, AND having been surrounded by good food, I can say I had a very good night after all.

Our waitress was fantastic but the food and management on the other hand was HORRID! All seafood came out cold, steak was undercooked. Waitress did everything to try to right our bad experience but when she went to tell the manager he told her to comp the cheapest item on our meal and didn’t even come out to aplologize for his restaurants mistakes or try to address our problem. Poor waitress go somewhere else and make the money you deserve, you were amazing but FORGETTHATPLACE!

GETTHEFRIEDZUCCHINI!!! GETIT! The nightly specials are great. The owners/waitstaff are friendly. The ambience is Florida fun! Also oddly the chicken quesadilla is one of the best I’ve ever had. A safe bet for tourists or locals looking for a reliable simple dinner out.

Wish I could give no stars. First we walked in, excited by reviews of key lime pie, we asked the gal at the front if it was homemade. She replied«of course»! So we got to table and waited. And waited. 12 min later a guy showed up for drink order. We told him we were ready to order then but he said to wait. So we did. It was taco Tuesday, $ 2.50 tacos. We should have gone to Taco Bell. We put our order in, they brought some rolls with cinnamon butter that was absolutely delish. Then we waited. And waited. After seeing tables on either side of us, who we were here before, get food I was finally able to get our waiter Justin to stop. I asked when our food would be here, he said 30 seconds. It was another 10 min and our food came. 6 tacos. They came and were soggy and raw. The pork taco with kimchi was inedible. It was a soggy gross mess. The shrimp taco was actually good but you only got 3 small shrimp on the taco. Tuna was raw. Everything was drenched in some kind of brown sauce that made it all taste the same. It wasn’t something that should be on any seafood, was weird. Justin came back to see if we were ready for pie, assured it wouldn’t take so long that that he just had to dish it up. I verified that it was in fact homemade and he shrugged and said«well it is by the company who ships it». No thank you. Check please.

The service was great thanks Brandon. Great tuna on the app menu. Tequila lime shrimp was a good portion and cooked well. The kids menu offered shrimp cooked in a variety of ways which is nice since most places only offer kids fried foods.

The wait was long but the food did eventually come out and it was hot. However, that’s the ONLY good thing I can say. We shared The Fisherman platter: catfish, shrimp, scallops, clams, oysters and calamari. It’s sad that good seafood had to suffer by the hands of this cook! Everything taste the same. Shrimp were hard. Calamari were tortured. Catfish was ok for catfish. All the breading was heavy and overdone. There was a tinny taste to everything. The savior of the meal was the sweet potato casserole. Awesome! My daughter had two steak tacos. At $ 2.50 each(taco Tuesday price) they were $ 2 overpriced. Three pieces of steak, a spoonful of diced tomatoes and a leaf of lettuce. Really!!! No need to return. Too bad because it could’ve been a contender.

«Coconut rice» is dry white rice with coconut flakes in it. The cheese grits have bacon in them without any warning from the menu. The crab and shrimp dip is amazing but can’t help but think the the crab is Alaskan pollack. The crackers they give you are salad saltines. The scallops are micro-sized and the fried oysters were undercooked. If you want good seafood, make the extra drive and head to Jazzy’s.

Love this place. We have been going to the Florida seafood restaurant for over a year. I decided to try this place for lunch because of their fish tacos. A couple days later I took the family. The food was amazing. Great menu. The price was good. You have to try the have Oster shooters and the tacos.

Off to a good start! Salads were great and the rolls with cinnamon butter were just as good. My wife got a summer salad with Feta, Strawberries, & Pineapple. She was pleased. I had a garden salad that had fresh crisp lettuce. Only drawback is the ranch was a pre-packaged cup. Time for the main course. My son got a kids cheeseburger. Looks good. He was happy as a 6 year old could be over a cheeseburger. Wife’s pound of crab legs you could tell were fresh. She said they had good flavor. My mom go the pound of breaded shrimp. Said the flavor was great and it was a good portion of food. I ordered«The Shack» steak. This is a 20 oz. New York Strip. They gave me a good warning that it would take longer to cook and that my dining mates would have their food first. Thought that to be very nice of them. My steak was done right and downright huge! Awesome wait staff as well as a clean place. We will be back!

We’ve been here a few times but it seemed we were always disappointed in something. The service, the quality and temperature of the food, ect. But we were craving seafood and a steam pot in particular, kind of like at Joes Crab Shack. Hearing this place had added steam pots to the menu, we decided to try one more go. We were set quickly since it was a weekday afternoon and rainy weather. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Although all places seem to say«we fly our oysters in daily» I still avoid them during the summer months. This place has tons of oyster options from steamed and raw to oyster shooters. This time we tried the gator tail and it was tasty. Nice crunch and sauce but the pieces could be cut a bit smaller. The steam pot was delicious! Everything was cooked perfect, shells cracked nicely and the meat just comes in one piece, someone actually knew what they were doing! The steam pot had 1 lobster tail, snow crab legs, clams, shrimp, corn on the cob, andouille sausage and potatoes. Great flavors! My only complaint was the corn on the cob tasted old and my potato was undercooked. The being said, I will come here again for the steam pots.

I never write bad reviews, because we generally do our research on Unilocal and end up having good experiences. This was an exception. We had a group of 11, tough to get in a place on Friday night and we expected to wait. But the hostesses screwed the pooch and had us waiting almost an hour until we asked if we were getting close. «Oh, we thought you left». So then we had to wait some more. Finally got to our table and we wiped the slate clear hoping for a better experience with our waitress, and we were pleased. She did a great job taking our orders and bringing drinks and appetizers. And that’s where things started to go bad. Food took forever to come out. Once it did come out it was very good. All of our meals were very good. Then it was time for checks and that is where it went real bad. We had established and asked if we could split checks by appropriate party and she said no problem. Well, it took forever, like 35 minutes to get our checks and get change. She came back and had to verify things at the 20 minute mark and then it took 25 more minutes to actually get a check. All in all it was good food but we were there for 3 hours and just ready to be out by the end. The place is nice and the food is good.

This place is amazing. The shooters were so delish, especially the tai chili ones. Margaritas were on point let alone the service was top notch. Alex the bartender was a hit. My husband and I will definitely be back. Only thing we wish is that they were on the beach just for the atmosphere.

Came here on mother’s day as a special dinner. Food was mediocre. My mom’s medium rare steak and lobster was so overcooked that she sent it back(extremely rare for my mom and the. manager said that the lobster was not going to be less rubbery so she chose not to get the lobster), we all ate our food and hers did not come out until we had completely finished in about 30 minutes. We had plans and had to leave so we asked that they box hers up. I’m extremely disappointed to see her meal still on the ticket since it was MOTHERSDAY and my mom didn’t get to eat her food. We did get two coupons from the manager and her drink. I’m upset, what was supposed to be a nice celebratory meal turned out so bad. Atmosphere is fun and cute. Enjoyed the oyster appetizer. Salads are awful, do not order!
