Great dinner, great service, great atmosphere. Would recommend the lobster stuffed shrimp.

Service was extremely slow. Had to ask for our water to be filled. Steak quality was poor. Asked my steak to be cooked medium… came out rare(removed from the bill). As soon as I cut into the steak, blood poured out. Green beans were undercooked.

Meh — It was a glorified chain restaurant experience with mediocre food at best. Prices reflect mediocre food so I shouldn’t be that surprised. Long wait time… Meh…

An average Bonefish Grill with good food and long food waiting times. I went with my wife and her family to this location over the weekend after shopping at the Merritt Island Mall because it was close and we were in the mood for some fish and bang bang shrimp. The restaurant is split up into two areas: a fairly elegant bar area and a fairly nice general dining area. My father-in-law commented about the light-up art over the bathroom being a fun decorating choice. Once we sat down, the waitress brought over our menus and asked if we wanted any drinks. My wife ordered the Raspberry cocktail to celebrate an accomplishment she had just achieved in her work life, and she was very specifically asked if the drink contained anything other the basics(raspberries extract and vodka). The waitress told her no and brought her the drink. When my wife tasted it, she again asked if it contained any syrup or other sugary mixture. The waitress said it was just the raspberry flavor, but we were both suspicious. However, the drink was rather tasty in general. Our table ordered some bang bang shrimp as an appetizer. My wife asked for the gluten-free version since the breading has lots of calories. The shrimp was fairly tasty, but not very spicy(something I liked but the other spiceheads at the table did not). The waitress didn’t bring us any bread at first due to the gluten-free request, so my father-in-law requested some bread for the table. Not the worst assumption to make on her part, but she should probably ask next time. My wife and her mother ordered a tuna dish, her father ordered a shrimp dish, and I ordered the sirloin and crab cake combo. After placing our order, we worked on the shrimp and bread for a while, but it took about 30 – 40 minutes for our food to finally arrive. While our waitress did continue to refill our drinks, she didn’t comment on the time of the food, and she walked past out table a few times avoiding our gaze. I don’t really mind this since I was once in the food industry and understand that it was probably the cook’s fault, but the waitress should at least act like she is concerned once you reach the 30 minute mark for the sake of morale. Once the food arrived, my wife instantly noticed her tuna dish did not come with the guacamole slices that was supposed to be included(and had been included on her mom’s identical dish). She was too hungry to say anything, so we all just dug in. My crab cake, fried, and coleslaw were all decently good, but my sirloin was cooked medium-well rather than medium-rare, so eating it wasn’t as enjoyable. It was a decent meal, but the meal and experience could have been much better with just a little more effort. Overall, our experience at this Bonefish Grill was fairly mediocre. The food tasted fairly good, but problems with proper execution and extended wait times made the experience fairly forgettable.

First time to this location. I made an online reservation which was quick and easy, on arriving we got seated within 15 seconds. My wife and I came here for our third wedding anniversary and all the wait staff wished us a happy anniversary. We both ordered non alcoholic drinks which were amazing. I had steak, salad, two sides and coconut pie. My wife had fish, a salad, two sides and cheese cake. Everything was very good. The best part of the night was our waiter, he was fantastic, took plenty of time to explain all the options, stopped by to make sure our food was just right and extremely friendly.

Over the glass of beer flew insect, we were seated inside. Napkin was dirty all over one side. No toilet paper in bathroom, how did the staff clean themselves if customer not able. Will not return to any location.

This has been our favorite place for date night for almost 3 years. The staff is fantastic, some remember us by name and we only go about once every couple months. I’ve never had a bad meal at this location. I tried the one in Viera and was so disappointed. Their servers were rude and their food was funky. This location on MI has never disappointed in service or quality. I’ve tried so many options but my favorite is the bang bang shrimp, mahi mahi(when available since its caught fresh here) and their seasonal watermelon cosmopolitan with frozen cubes of watermelon as garnish. So. Good.

I’ve been to this location 4 times. Every time I’m disappointed. It is over priced chain food. To start, our waiter was very nice and efficient but he hovered… not just a little a lot. Even when we repeatedly told him we that we needed a few minutes to decide, he still hovered. I’m not exactly sure if he was intentionally hovering or if he just couldn’t figure out how to use the iPad to place our drink orders, either way it was annoying. The food: we ordered pot stickers to start, Which seemed like frozen and then boiled potstickers. Then we ordered a small filet, green beans and a small salad(extra $). My husband ordered a small filet, green beans and truffle mac and cheese(extra $). When the steaks arrive we noticed they were a long thin cut(not typical of filets), the green beans were flavorless and very greasy, the mac and cheese(might have had a sprinkle of cheap truffle oil) but that is the only hint of truffle on this dish. The Mac and cheese also had large chunks of mushrooms which were under seasoned and seemed out of place. The cheese sauce was more like a béchamel than a cheese sauce. In the end it was disappointing to say the least. I’m not sure why we continue to support these huge chain restaurants that have absolutely no heart and no soul. I sure hope I’m not forced to go again!

Went on a Sat night for wife’s birthday. Short wait and seated in noisy dining room. I ordered the sirloin and crab cake meal for about 20 dollars and my wife got the shrimp and scallops meal for around 19 dollars. You get two sides and you will have to pay around 4 dollars to upgrade to salad. We opted out and enjoyed very slow served beers and an espresso martini and the bang bang shrimp as an app. When entrees were served the food runner dropped off food and took off. It was 10 minutes later our waiter came to check on us. I explained that they forgot my crab cake and my wife needed some lemon. 10 minutes later he returns and said we got that crab cake coming. I was done with my chewy sirloin and my wife was finished with her 4 shrimp and 4 scallops meal and cancelled that so called crab.cake. When manager came by, he was apologetic of slack service and was going to «do something special for this issue on my wife’s birthday» The waiter returned smuggeshly with a bill that was discounted 3 dollars. I was blown away with such arrogance and insensitive behavior from what I use to think was a classy place. I would suggest to go to Florida’s grill or Molly’s seafood down the road from this establishment. Better food and definitely better service.

I’m not sure why the bad reviews. We went here before the movies for date night and were very pleased with the food and service. We ordered the potstickers, fresh fish special, and pork Marsala. Everything was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Food was very flavorful and the attentive wait staff made for the beginning to a perfect evening. We will definitely return.

Friends recommended the bang-bang shrimp. Mine came without bang. When someone labels something ‘bang’ it should bring tears to the eyes, or at least have a person reach for their drink. However, I use sriracha like ketchup, so maybe this is my problem.

Prompt and courteous service and each item I ordered delicious. First I had the house salad with their dressing. Both perfect plus the added but garnish. For my main course I had the coconut shrimp appetizer. OMG6 large shrimp cooked and crispy to perfection. Or was it 8? Anyway I was full but couldn’t resist a to go order of Key Lime Pie. We’ll let me just say this place in Port Aransas TX just lost its place in my list of best KLP ever. Bonefish Grille is tops. Can’t wait to go back.

Visiting from Seattle and I would definitely say their seafood is as fresh to compete with. As we arrived one of the hosts opened up the door to the entrance. The service was great! I had a white mango sangria to start and for my entrée I decided to try the grouper(special fish on the menu) and my boyfriend’s crab cakes. The crab cakes were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside– I would highly recommend! To finish we shared the crème brûlée. It was surprisingly a huge portion that is good for 4 people. Very delicious as well. The only thing I would pass on is their squash that comes as a side. It’s pretty dry and flavorless.

I’m an food snob and love giving a vicious reviews to crappy overrated places so I’m honestly shocked by the negative reviews on this place. I love this place! They are friendly, clean, and efficient! I’ve never had a bad meal, they are consistently wonderful! Food is creative and delicious, drinks are made perfect, service is top notch! Highly recommend and trust me, I’ve tried everywhere on this little island.

Visiting from New York and this place is lovely. Our server was professionals and sweet. We had no wait time which was great!(We arrived half hour after opening, we were famished in the Florida heat) We order a start. A dumpling and a salad as well. So yummy. Great wine! I had the steak! Gosh so yummy and I love it well done. It was perfect, most places leaves it well done but charred. The key lime pie was great We had a wonderful experience and for what we orders the price was not bad at all. Highly recommend!

Over Priced and Over Rated Since we are locals, we are serious seafood fans and wanted to see this place as a big success. After returning from dining there Friday night, I read some of the other reviews that were posted and I concur with many of their findings. The main dining room was indeed really noisy and we were happy to be seated in the«private dining room» in the wing area. The service throughout was very courteous although it was quite a bit slow. Also like other reviewers, we saw the bread and olive oil dip on other tables but finally had to ask for ours. The bread by the way, was great. We did not order the highly touted bang bang shrimp, instead I opted for the corn and lobster chowder. It too was good however, the bowl was deceptively shallow and the serving size was really small and not very hot. Probably about less than 2⁄3 cup worth! Ouch. The menu is very abbreviated with not a lot of choice combinations. There is seasonal vege that is(conveniently for them) served with everything and then you have one other choice from a small list of about 8 items. Also, a salad is extra.(I would have thought a dish that cost over 20 bucks should at least include a side salad.) I had the Caesar salad and it had zero seasoning! No salt, no pepper, no garlic… what a let down. I then had the Longfin Talapia Imperial and the wife had the Haddock special of the day. Both dishes were tasty and seasoned correctly. However, again, there was not very much of it. Small portion sizes DONOT impress me! The garlic mashed potatoes were just nasty and the small blob of chickpea goo was equally awful. This place with it’s programed portion controlled dishes and the abbreviated menu is the model of high volume, production line, apathy based on making money instead of happy customers. If you are a serious foodies in search of culinary nirvana then go somewhere else. In summary this dining experience was«ok» but I would not go back because there are better seafood places for cheaper like Molly’s or Shells. At $ 85 Bucks with tip for a dinner without appetizers, I would not expect to go home hungry! Go somewhere else.

This place has gone down hill fast. When it first opened it was great. Now they’re just another fast food chain who doesn’t care about the quality of their food. Sangria was bland, chicken was cold, goat cheese was flavorless, even the«go to» bang bang shrimp wasn’t as good as it used to be. We used to have to wait for an hour on Saturday nights and now it’s not even half full. I guess that says everything you need to know about this place. We’ve eaten here dozens of times and I think we’re ready to give up. Too many other great options around to keep going here and be continuously disappointed.

Since I was on someone else expense report I decided to explore some of the local chain restaurants on my business trip. I was hungry for seafood and saw this place on the Merritt Island Causeway near the Merritt Island Square Mall. When I arrived they asked if I wanted to eat in the Bar area, and I declined as they were not very busy on a Monday night. I asked for a booth and they seated me as far back as you can get. Jennifer H. was my server and each person greeted me by asking if I had been there before, which was no. Bonefish Grill is owned by Bloomin’ Brands headquartered in Tampa FL. Their menu focuses largely on wood-grilled fish. Jennifer told me the specials change every couple of months so there is always something new to try. They have a fully stocked bar in the front, and there are many different drinks and those specials also change every couple of months. Jennifer told me about their signature Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer, which consists of shrimp in a creamy spicy sauce. She also told me they are also affiliated with the Ocean Trust, an ocean conservation foundation building science, conservation, and industry partnership for the sustainability of the oceans, as well as providing a link to sustainable fisheries, wildlife and the environment. It sort of reminded me of an upscale Fish Market. I ordered the fancy salad and a small Sea Bass with green bean side dish, and for dessert the coconut pie. Unfortunately Jennifer was so engaged with me she forgot my side of green beans, but terribly embarrassed at such a foux pas she dispatched right away to fix her oversight. For a very nice salad, a small but perfectly grilled piece of fish, and dessert came to $ 37.50 and I have Jennifer a nice tip too. They do not have an open kitchen, but I was impressed from what I could see from my booth they do use food handling gloves in preparation of the food. I would recommend and return if I am ever back here.

I’ve been to several Bonefish Grills in the last 6 months and I will say this one doesn’t disappoint. The restaurant is located next to Merritt Mall so there is plenty of parking I was greeted as soon as I walked in and was seated it was late afternoon so I was a little ahead of the Saturday night crowd. Started out with the Bang Bang Shrimp I must admit this was the low point if there is one the shrimp didn’t seem as crisp as I’ve had in the past so I think I will move on to something else my next trip. I have always wanted to try the Corn Chowder with Lump Crab it was desiccant loved it. I had the small portion of the Chilean Sea Bass I seem to order this often when coming to Bonefish. As in the past it was excellent I had a side of mixed veggies didn’t really do much for me but I tried. I decided to give the Maryland Lump Crab Cakes a try with a side of asparagus the crab cakes were filled succulent lump crab with very little binder I absolutely loved them now to address what you must be thinking yes it’s very rich food but I ordered the small plates and it was plenty no way could I eat all of it but I really wanted to try a few dishes. My server was Leslie and she did an outstanding job It appeared all the servers were very attentive I would come to this location again without hesitation.
