Late post!!!(Honeymoon) we are from LA!!! My husband and I went in to have a drink and a appetizer. And when we walked in it was empty NOW we know why. He ordered an old fashion and I ordered one of their«specialty cocktails» we both took a sip of them and gagged!!! We said ok let’s try their food! Worse mistake ever!!! We ordered their«NACHOS» ugh! 15 $ for nachos that look like they are from Taco Bell dollar menu!!! My husband is a chef and when he tasted the bean he knew right away they were canned!!! If you are going based on the stars they have DONTBEFOOLED!!! DONTDOIT… KEEPWALKINGDONTSTOPATTHISPLACE!!!

This place is NOT a dive bar. My vodka tonic was almost 13 bux without tip. It is a nice place, but I searched for dive bars… Disappointed…

Pretty cool spot at the corner of Collins and 16th street in Miami Beach, FL. They have a wide selection of beers(I ordered a Stella Cider’). The liquor selection was excellent. My wife had Don Julio tequila. I music was good not great. No DJ but the music was a good mix. Bartenders are excellent.

Belle, the bartender, is amazing! She know exactly what costumer service means. She is very professional!

It’s not great, generally smells like a mish mosh of industrial cleaning products. You couldn’t pay me to eat there… but the drink specials are ok, plenty of TVs to watch the game…

Watered down drinks. Boring bartenders and wait staff. And something crazy is going on in the ladies restroom… sounds like a thousand roaches having a tap dance stand off. Skip this spot.

Bartenders have no enthusiasm at all and overall the place is DEAD! Music isn’t good and drinks are overpriced, great location but not a great bar! Better of at a restaurant with a bar in the center of it over this«lounge»

Great location for people watching but the drinks were a bit watered down. Bartenders were nice and accommodating. 15% gratuity is automatically added to your bill

DONOTWAISTYOURTIME&MONEYHERE!!! The server Kiki told me to shut up & kept insulting me. I stood there with an empty glass for 30 minutes & she kept passing by but didn’t acknowledge me once! She did not deserve her tip what’s so ever. I hope the owner or management sees this because she is not a good look for that place. & she’s really ugly too! The only reason I put 5 stars is so it can pop up & all you can see this review. This place is more like 0 stars.

Yikes. Came in here around 11:30pm on a Thursday for drinks after landing and since I was staying in south beach, decided to grab some drinks with friends since the location of this place was great. Came in, sat at the bar with 2 other friends and this place was dead. A few groups surrounded us at the cocktail tables behind us and some other folks at the bar. The people here were either obnoxiously loud or super super super sloppy. The 2 bartenders just kept walking back and forth, not even making eye contact with us. After 10 minutes of no one even greeting us, we had to wave one of the girls over. The drinks they made were weak and they seemed like rookie bartenders. Is that why they add gratuity to your tab? The guys next to us ordered some shooter that they didn’t even know how to make. My friend ended up looking it up and telling her how to make it. After we finished our first round of drinks, none of the bartenders came over to ask us if we wanted anything else. The only positives for this place is location and the DJ played great, get you hype songs. However, service was so terrible, and the attitudes were so stinky, I’d rather spend my money at the other hundreds of bars around south beach. Ambiance was lackluster and smokey. Experience in here was frustration and annoyance. They need a serious revamp and new bartenders ASAP.

Collins Ave. I believe is just a total dissapointment all around!!! Pretty sad that the restaurants and bars on this great location most of them don’t take advantage of it!!! And this bar is a prime example of what I’m saying! Don’t waist your time and your money here waitresses suck and so does the food wish I could give them a half star, they don’t even deserve the one!

I first learned of the Legend of Liquor Lounge back in 2010. A friend of mine was working at a nearby hotel, and whenever it was quittin’ time, she and friends would head on over to drink away the rebuffs of annoying out-of-towners. As far as I know, she didn’t make crazy dough, so it was important that her drinking was efficient, i.e. dirt cheap. This friend, she would get hammered. Intrigued by a spot on the beach where you could drink away your happiness and drink to your sorrows, I first made my way east toward Collins from Shake Shack or Finnegan’s or Yardbird or the movie theatre or wherever the F I was a couple of years ago. Just a few weeks ago, I went back. And the Legend continues. Liquor Lounge has carved out a little niche for itself among the boutique and the high-rise, the gelato and the myriad pizza-by-the-slice places and the GD tourist traps selling fish bowls of watered-down margaritas to the ignorant with fat bank accounts. Liquor Lounge is a bar’s bar. The drinks, they’re cheap(for the beach, anyway). The sound system is loud and out in the open. There are no mirrors in the men’s bathroom, and the pool table doesn’t always release all the balls when you put in your quarters. You have to use a pool stick to finish ramming the little tray into the coin slot. That, or play Lance Armstong-style: down one ball. This place is no frills. It’s egalitarian. It’s laid back. It’s what you don’t much see on the beach, where the seemingly tranquil is ever-likely to give way to the stereotype that the new generation of Miamians is growing to hate.

Good location, can’t be beat. Came here to listen to some drum and bass during music week. I wouldn’t come back here without the music. Service and bar staff are kind of pissed off at something, did I take a dump on the bar I didn’t realize? Not ideal. Prices are very high for a dive bar. The«air freshener» smells like a cat box, and makes me nauseous over time.

This is one of my go-to spots for cheap drinks in South Beach. I think of Liquor Lounge as a little hidden gem tucked on the corner of Collins, between 15th&16th streets. You would think it would be packed, but it’s not, ever. The first time we stumbled upon this place was 3 years ago, when we were staying at the Dorchester a couple blocks down on Collins. Since then, we have made it a point to always stop back. Whenever we come, it’s not overly crowded, nor empty, quick service, and cheap drinks.(Cheap — as compared to other SoBe spots). It’s always easy to get a spot at the bar and the bartenders are friendly and efficient — perfect spot to start your night. Another bonus — I’m sure Liquor Lounge would be a great spot to catch a sporting event, with TV’s surrounding the bar and lounge area. *Very casual, laid back environment.

I used to come here frequently as it is across the street from my office. You couldn’t beat the cheap beer and the dive-y vibe! The day after Christmas, our network at work went down and it was pouring, so we all decided to just bail and go drink. Due to the weather, we hit up Liquor Lounge and wow! It had a total makeover! It went from dive bar to actual, real lounge! Clubby, comfortable chairs, fabric on the wall, dim lighting! Fortunately, the drinks are still cheap as hell! I think the beers were $ 3 or something ridiculous. And well drinks were $ 4, maybe? The one thing that didn’t get upgraded is that stale beer smell!

A solid dive bar, right off the beach! I came by this afternoon with a couple of out of town visitors for a mojito fix as well as to satisfy our dive bar fix. And that we did! We ordered such gourmet staples as chicken nachos — with a decent sprinkle of chicken on top, with cheese spread and separate sides of pico and sour cream — and chicken wings. I suppose the wings could have been hotter both in sauce and temperature but the nachos sort of made up for it. Our waitress did check on us a couple of times, but do beware this place charges an 18% automatic gratuity. Besides the company(the reason for the fourth star), the highlight here were the mango mojitos. Sugary sweet, served in a tall glass, there was just enough rum to sneak up on you as you head back out to continue your fun afternoon.
