The worse restaurant both in Service and Food. I was there for a conference and went down for just a salad, it took 40 minutes for the Salad, the menu claims they have Gluten Free options but the waiter knew nothing about them, and when I asked him to ask he just said they didn’t have any. For two salads and two glasses of wine it was $ 78.00. Breakfast was just as bad… it took 10 minutes for water and juice. The breakfast made both of us ill, and it ruined the whole day. I recommend a new chef ASAP.

Order the mahi sandwich, great seasoning and the fish was cooked perfectly. Big portions so you get the bang for your buck. Can’t beat the view either, especially at night when the Venetian causeway is lit up in that gorgeous purple. My brother got the quinoa salad and said it was really great too!

We have eaten here for both dinner and breakfast while staying at the hotel. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food was good, especially for a hotel restaurant. I had the snapper, which was excellent and my husband had the ribeye. We tried the breakfast buffet, which was plentiful: eggs, meats, waffles, and lots of fresh fruits.

The view here is amazing if you sit out on the patio. We had dinner by the harbor and it was slightly humid with a cool breeze. At night they turn on the string lights surrounding the patio so it’s more romantic. We started off with the calamari which was decent, but the breading to calamari ratio was off(more breading than calamari). The dipping sauce for the calamari was delicious, however. We also ordered two drinks — a frozen mango and strawberry type of cocktail, which were both delicious. The mango was much better then the strawberry. I ordered the shrimp linguine, which was delicious(because of the strong lemon flavor after squeezing the lemon), but was too oily. It was so oily that after I ate it my lips were covered in oil! My boyfriend ordered the filet mignon but apparently they ran out of that, so they offered him a ribeye cut instead. His portion was huge, and was tasty. While the food and the ambience were better, the service lacked a lot. Our waiter was absent for a good majority of the dinner and failed to ask us how everything was. The host who brought us to our table was much more attentive and friendly than he was. Overall, this place is nice to eat at due to convenience of staying at the hotel, but there are also restaurants less than a block down the road outside the hotel that you can walk to.

Food was not too bad, but service was not good. Our waiter took our order, brought drinks to us and disappeared. Rushed our order and got two items wrong. Never checked with us again. Had to find another employee to find our waiter to get our check. No adjustments made to our check. Unfortunately it is only restaurant in the hotel.

The staff at breakfast are so friendly and welcoming it feels like they are inviting you to their home. The are attentive to every detail. The Hebert pa cakes are packed with big plump blueberries. The bacon is served extra crispy as ordered. The atmosphere is clean warm and inviting. This is a nice lite neighborhood gem.

Both the conch chowder and catch salad were worthwhile. Oh, and they have YUENGLING. Staying at the Marriott a fortnight, will be back for more…

Wow! We had a delicious meal on the bay, with perfect service. I had coconut shrimp and my husband had the churrasco steak. Every bite was So. Very. Delicious.

Excellent food and service for a hotel restaurant. I tried the braised short rib ravioli and it was spectacular. Homemade pasta makes all the difference when it comes to ravioli. The room service menu, on the other hand, could use a little work. It is a very limited menu compared to what is offered in the restaurant. I would have liked to see more fresh fare rather than just sandwiches and burgers.

Decent food for a restaurant inside a hotel. Me and my friends came around 10pm so the place was quiet and slow. The shrimp linguini wasn’t too good. Portion was too small and the food was bland. The shrimp was the only best part. I do recommend their happy hr though! Cabs for $ 5! Get a glass

nice place for casual dinner Nice outdoor seating as well as indoor. Service was good and staff very friendly. Was not too crowed, but the food was just average. Had a Cuban sandwich and nothing special and kind of dry.

Fantastic patio to sit on later in the evening. Be warned — the stone crab claws & other tasty items were out if it is later in the evening. Pork Belly was tasty. Tables around us received a bread like serving. it was not offered to us. The server catered to the table behind us that was locals. For a hotel restaurant it was not bad.

My swordfish was just ok. I also tried the Mahi Mahi and I liked it better than the swordfish. We also shared the crab mac and cheese as a side. The mac and cheese was under-seasoned and the crab tasted like it was frozen. Upon asking the waiter about the crab I was informed it came from a can… which explained why it wasn’t very good. My co-worker had the filet mignon which she said was the best steak shes ever had however i did not try it. Our waiter was also very slow… he was nice but really really slow. Also the drinks were $ 14 bucks a piece and not very strong. I had 3. Overall this is an over priced hotel restaurant. For a seafood restaurant named catch I expected more from the chefs and definitely more for the price.

I usually don’t write reviews but I felt a need to write a review about this restaurant and my experience. We got no service from our waiter. He was too busy entertaining the guy behind us. We got our water along with the appetizer. That was the last time we drank water. We asked him three times to bring us water. The table next to us had to get up and go to the bar to get service. In addition, the food was not worth the price we pay. We don’t recommend this place at all!

GOODCATCH With the threat of rain, it was the perfect excuse to take up the offer to try Catch Bar & Grill located at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay. The furnishing and décor is not much different than that of the hotel’s Concierge Room on the 26th floor. Its hard to pinpoint the emphasis of what they specialize in. Perhaps its Asian fusion, Miami Cuban with a tendency to include seafood. Definitely party central whenever there’s a large business group occupying this Marriott. Let’s just say the previous night a rock group cleaned out the bar. With the aforementioned in mind, we went at around 5pm knowing that we would essentially avoid being absorbed into a partying frenzy. Our scallops and corvina we’re perfectly prepared that would please the most critical culinary seafood critic(Yu-go chauffeur). If we were to do it again, the scallops were definitly the winner. Just mentioning the entrees plus the chocolate bar may not seem overwhelming, but the meal was more than plentiful and satisfying.

Got a Groupon and went there for happy hour to get double the discount. Love the food. The oysters were amazing. The view was great. The servers were also accommodating, what else can you ask for? Had a great time there with friends. Highly recommend though it is a little bit hidden at the Marott hotel.

Not sure why the low reviews. We had a fantastic dinner here tonight and we tried a fair amount if dishes. To start, we ordered the chicken tacos(tasty), the conch fritters(big and very good, especially the sauce), and BWT, which are jalapeños stuffed in seasoned goat cheese wrapped in maple bacon(amazing). Our entrees were also very good. I had the Mahi-Mahi, which was seasoned with peppitas and a very flavorful pumpkin & pancetta risotto. The mango habanero chicken breast was also very well done with polenta fries and avocado purée. The seafood paella was also very good and all seafood was very fresh. Good service, no complaints…

The service was consistently excellent for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Outdoor seating is available, although I did not sit there. My favorite part of the food was the breakfast buffet. There were many choices that could be heathy, kid-friendly or just flat-out delish. I ordered a lump crab salad with avocado and cheese for lunch. For a light lunch it was just what I wanted although heavy on the dressing. The lump crab meat was decent size. For dinner I ordered the chicken with polenta and was good but really should have had another side included. The purée that accompanied it was decent but not enough of it on my plate. The servers and hostess were sweet to talk to and approachable. When I came to visit again they recognized me, which is a nice quality.

Being a Marriott and how they pay attention to detail. I figured this would be a good place to eat for lunch since we were staying at the hotel. I had the Grilled Mahi Mahi Sandwich. I asked for a few things from the norm. My waiter was happy to make the changes. Out food was presented in a delightful fashion. My extras came on a separate plate with more than I expected. The food was excellent. They were always on the spot with water and clean up. I did notice that the birds like to join you. They do not bother me but they do surround you and hope you drop food. The view was fantastic, with a large patio with couches and chairs you can relax or eat on. I have to say after staying at The Grove Park Inn just a few weeks prior, Marriott Catch has it all over them. We also had a drink at the bar the evening before and the service was excellent.
