Setting beautiful food good but customer service from hostess and manager TERRIBLE! Staff needs more people skills and to learn how to make eye contact with a customer Waiter Alberto was great thank god!

10⁄10 experience!!! I was thoroughly impressed with how great the food and service was! Decided to check this place out after I Unilocaled it and I’m so happy I did! Came for Sunday brunch with my girlfriend and were instantly amazed with the beautiful view of Biscayne Bay. The restaurant is situated behind the Perez Arturo Museum with both indoor and outdoor seating available. We got here right at 11 and didn’t need a reservation. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Our server, Sienna was phenomenal! We ordered the steak and eggs and the lobster benedict. Both were about the most delicious things we’ve ever eaten, and we eat out a lot! The blend of spices and flavor was indescribable. Couldn’t be happier with our experience and we’ll definitely be back… next week!

GREAT food GREAT service OUTRAGEOUS View! First and foremost… what a great view of Miami, from the MacArthur causeway to downtown and the beautiful bay. The restaurant is attached to the Art Museum so you can make a day of it. Also the landscape and lounge chairs plus the smell from the ocean mixed with the on-site coffee bar cant be beat. To start the strawberry mimosa special was a delicious twist. We had the avocado on toast & the pizza with an egg on it, which was gone almost as fast as they brought it out. The Shrimp and grits are wonderful, but spicy(and if you have read any other of my reviews, you know I cant handle it). My eggs benedict was perfect, even changed the muffin for toast. The chicken club, was hardy and my brother loved his steak and eggs cooked just right! We left with full bellies and great family pictures. Beautiful mother’s day and celebrated parents 34 years of marriage… perfect.

Came here for Saturday brunch at 11 and it wasn’t crowded at all. The restaurant has amazing view and atmosphere and the food was delicious! We got a variety of dishes and I will write them in order of my liking(starting with my fav), but they’re all very good: carbonara pizza, wild mushroom pizza, shrimp and grits, tuna tartare, chicken under a brick, squash blossoms pizza, margherita pizza. Desserts are really good as well but I don’t really remember what they’re called, one was like bread pudding with ice cream and the other was mango panna cotta.

Today was my first day here and I am fascinated with the view and the feel of the atmosphere. Beautiful day to sit outside and enjoy great food. I ordered the Spring Cobia with a bay front view sangria. Everything was delicious. Waitress wasn’t so welcoming but didn’t bother me.

Is this really a Stephen Starr restaurant? By the service level and food quality you would never know. My wife and I had dinner during Third Thursday this week and what a mess. To be brief and direct: –Chopped Salad was a shredded mess with no texture or flavor –Entrees arrived while we were eating our salad, asked to take them back, sat under the heat lamp until we were done –Ordered the Grouper, received over cooked Cobia –Hangar Steak had a off taste, stringy and served well done when ordered medium –waiter was never around when you needed him Mr. Starr you have a problem!

Yes, the view and ambiance are the best part! We went here for a couples lunch. Thankfully we had made a reservation, because our chances of sitting outside that day without one would be a gamble. Our waiter, although busy, was very nice and willing to make suggestions and describe items on the menu. We all had blood orange mimosas, which were amazingly delicious! Everyone at the table was happy with their food. I had the Chicken Under a Brick at the waiter’s advice and wasn’t disappointed. It was seasoned well and served with chimichurri and potatoes. It was a generous serving and I had to have my husband help me with it. After lunch, we enjoyed the museum for about an hour, and then relaxed on the terrace outside. It was a very nice way to spend an afternoon.

Came here for brunch and sat outside on the most gorgeous day. Boyfriend and I shared the chicken club sandwich and the pizza with kale and arugula pesto. The chicken club wasn’t my favorite but I don’t tend to like chicken sandwiches. My boyfriend said it was great. The pizza was AMAZINGG!!! It was topped with crispy butternut squash. The service was great as well and the atmosphere is gorgeous. Can’t wait to come back and bring my dog since there are many parks nearby

Went to Verde after visiting the PAMM on a beautiful Thursday evening. We ordered the Fried Burrata as an appetizer and split the Chicken Under A Brick and the Crispy Mahi Mahi Tacos as our meal. Quality The food was pretty average. The Fried Burrata was basically a large mozzarella stick with marinara sauce. The Chicken Under A Brick which was a large piece of chicken with chimichurri sauce with some potatoes. It was decent, but really nothing special. The Mahi Mahi Tacos were probably the best thing we ordered, but they were only the highlight with the spicy chipotle pepper sauce. Quantity The food all came in good size portions. The appetizer had enough food to share for two and each meal was plenty big. Value The food was probably a bit overpriced, but it is to be expected when dining at a museum. Considering the atmosphere and the convenience it was actually not too bad. Ambiance Verde is located on the east end of the Perez Art Museum Miami. It has both indoor and outdoor seating, with the outdoor seating the much more popular selection. The restaurant overlooks the waterway between downtown Miami and Miami Beach, highlighted by the neon lights across A1A. The outdoor area of the PAMM is very modern and incorporates nature into its patio. On the night we visited there was a bar set up outside as well as a DJ playing a mix of 80s dance songs. Although I feel like the outdoor seating should be brought closer to the water, it is definitely a very unique outdoor spot to have a meal. Crowd The crowd was very mixed, ranging from young couples to families to elderly couples. On the night we visited the museum has free admission so the crowd was probably a bit bigger than on a normal weekday. Service Although the outdoor area was busy, the staff quickly cleared off a table to get us seated outside. The waitress was extremely friendly and prompt, and the food came out at a perfect speed. Parking There is hourly parking right at the museum and there is a Metromover stop for the museum. The actual roads for the museum are very confusing so be prepared for Über/Lyft drivers to get lost. Extra Verde was a very average restaurant, but not a terrible choice if you are already at the museum and hungry. Definitely seems like a place for catering a museum event rather than a spot for a nice dinner.

Fresh and interesting menu that feels overpriced, likely due to what looks like a 1:1 waitstaff to customer ratio. Had a decent chopped salad here for lunch that was filling but, still, just a salad. Nice views of the bay, and outdoor seating available.

Verde is a fantastic spot. Not only conveniently located between lots of art, hanging gardens and an outstanding view… Verde offers a simple, well crafted menu… I have been to Verde in several occasions and never disappointed. I just love this place overall. The décor is minimalist, the service is great and the ambiance is just so artsy! It is a perfect place to have a business meeting(not too loud), to meet old friends or even just because… My favorite thing here is the Blood Orange Mimosas… For brunch on a Sunday, they are perfect! I usually pair them with Eggs benedict on a Sunday or with a nice Burger on a week day. Always ask if they have a set menu. On some occasions I have been able to get a Set menu for a fixed price and includes three courses. Which are usually to die for… Verde is just amazing, one of my new personally favorite places to hang out. Even when I am not visiting the museum.

Food: meh. Cocktails: amazing! Local Snapper Tiradito was awfully salty. The aji amarillo itself was a bit salty, but the dish was sprinkled with coarse sea salt. Prosciutto pizza was standard. The Passion Fruit Caipirinha & Guava Margarita were delicious. Hands down the best part of the meal.

An awesome spot! I didn’t realize this was in the museum and I was not disappointed. The view is spectacular whether you are sitting inside or outside. We started with cocktails, which were incredibly delicious. We requested no sugar, which was no problem, and they were made to order. The food was very fresh and veryyyy good! I have no complaints whatsoever. I ate the warm shrimp salad with avocado. The dishes here are a bit pricy, especially for what you are getting, but it was all very yummy. What makes this meal even better was that we walked around the museum and garden afterwards. It’s a great way to spend your afternoon!

This place is Swwweeeet! The views are beautiful, the ambiance is nice and the restaurant is very airy and bright. I came to Verde for Sunday brunch with my girlfriends and was not disappointed. We started with the flounder fluke special which was a bit on the smaller side but I enjoyed the flavors. It had thinly diced mango on top with a slight kick. Good stuff. As an entrée, I order the Scottish wild caught salmon that came with a side of arugula salad that had dill and thinly sliced onions. It also had a hard boiled egg on the side with some crispy toast. It was a good dish. I saw there was a drink made with passionfruit on the menu(I take every opportunity I can to have passionfruit juice!) and asked the server if they could make me a passionfruit margarita. The bartender made probably the best passionfruit margarita I’ve ever had. I think they should add it to the menu. ;) Our server Tyler was very accommodating and friendly. He made the already great experience, even better. We all shared the pancakes as dessert along with the donuts. Can I just say that if you dine here, you must try the donuts with the condensed milk sauce. The chocolate sauce is nice too, but you need to try the other sauce. It is heaven. Overall, this venue rocks. I will return very soon.

Museum dining has a bad rep. Think about it. At least in my experience, when I think about the last couple of museums that I visited, whether it was while on vacation in Europe or spending a weekend in NY, it’s always the same thing: museum food ends up being an afterthought, something I just decide upon on the spot, if it looks good. Well, my friends, I am happy to admit that today, I have been proven wrong. In my never ending search for a different type of brunch other than the typical South Beach hotel or Lincoln Road experience, I ended up paying a visit to Verde, the restaurant at the Perez Art Museum Miami(PAMM), in Downtown. This modern, waterfront restaurant has become one of the main attractions of the beautiful PAMM building, attracting hoards of people practically all week long, for both for lunch and dinner. Even though Verde’s indoor, air-conditioned seating might look tempting given the summer heat, I strongly recommend going for a table outside, which allows you to enjoy the beautiful view of Biscayne Bay. When it comes to my experience at Verde, I have to say that I was quite impressed both by the top quality of their food as well as their reasonable pricing, most of their brunch dishes being under $ 15. Upon analyzing the menu with my friend, we decided to go for brunch classics: the Gruyère Omelet and the Eggs Benedict. The Eggs Benedict were made to perfection, and the omelet was so fluffy and cheesy that it felt like a gruyère pillow in my mouth(in a good way!). We also ordered a side of crispy, thin cut fries which came with a curry mustard dipping sauce that was ah-mazing. All this we downed with refreshing iced cappuccinos, though I must admit that I experienced some serious FOMO when I saw my neighbors Passionfruit/Cilantro Caipirinha, but I decided against it and save the calories for the French beignets dessert, which was well worth it. These fluffy balls of heaven are as divine as they look in the pictures, and the best part was that, just as I was about to order a 2nd cup of coffee to dip them in(my favorite guilty pleasure), back came the waiter with a creamy chocolate and coffee dipping sauce. The combination was just perfect! The only down side of having all this delicious brunchy fare is that I couldn’t help but devour it all. Needless to say, I felt a quite stuffed afterwards, so the visit to the museum came in very handy to walk it off. In a way, Verde proved my museum dining theory wrong in more than one way. Not only was their food fantastic, but also, it ended up attracting me in such a way that the visit to the museum ended up being the afterthought. The great thing is that you don’t need to get a ticket to the museum to enjoy Verde, but, since you are there, I would always recommend checking it out! Their exhibitions change all the time, and there’s always something interesting and new to explore at the PAMM.

SOLID! Went to Verde for brunch after visiting PAMM on a lovely Saturday afternoon. Reservations are strongly encouraged, especially weekends when crowds swarm this gorgeous restaurant sitting on the edge of Biscayne Bay. Food was exquisite and cocktails were above awesome. I would not have imagined ordering a cocktail here, but the Passion Fruit Cilantro Caipirinha shouldn’t be missed. Perfect. Perfect. Perfect!(if you like PF and Cilantro, of course). I had the steak and eggs with romesco and roasted potatoes. Beef was cooked to perfection, and so were the(sunny-side up) eggs. My party ordered ceviche and tuna tartare for starters and they really raved about taste and quality. For seconds they had Lobster Egg Benedict and this was the most sinful, succulent variation of the classic egg dish. It was really amazing and a dish I would order on my next visit. Until next time! :)

I have come to Verde on numerous occasions for bunch after being in the area for other events. The venue feels very posh, yet reasonably affordable. I recommend one of their omelets or their steak and eggs, you won’t be disappointed! They have indoor and outdoor seating, with the outdoor seating overlooking Biscayne bay.

While exploring the Perez Art Museum Miami(PAMM) I strongly suggest a visit to the in-house restaurant, Verde. We were quickly seated outside for lunch. Our waiter was attentive, and the food was delivered promptly. We had wahoo ceviche with sweet potato slices, mahi-mahi tacos, warm shrimp salad, and French fries with an aioli Mustard dipping sauce. All of the food was exquisitely seasoned and cooked to perfection. Water glasses were kept filled, and a manager even came by to chat and make sure everything was okay. The ambiance of Miami is present, from the arty upscale diners to the views and breezes of Biscayne Bay. A seaplane on final to Watson Island even came in right beside the restaurant! Stephen Starr Catering has done a great job at this and other venues in South Florida. And after your meal, you are able to re-enter the PAMM. I would definitely dine here again.

Had a business lunch at Verde and was so excited to finally give it a try. On a sunny but breezy afternoon, we opted to sit outside. Since the terrace is completely shaded, they have heaters which was a surprise but welcome touch(who says it doesn’t get cold in Miami?). The menu isn’t overwhelming but lots of dishes caught my eye. I went for the warm shrimp salad after hearing so much about it. Our food came fast, making it a great lunch bet if you don’t necessarily have all the time in the world. The salad itself was delicious. The shrimp were super plump and cooked perfectly. As an avocado fiend, I loved having some of that mixed in as well. I’m not going to lie, I left still hungry. Next time, I would definitely get something to accompany the salad like dessert or an app, but know that it would cost a pretty penny. Here, I think you’re paying for more than just the food(which is very high quality), but also the atmosphere. I hadn’t been to the museum in some time and loved seeing they now have more outdoor seating for relaxing and taking in views of the bay. Case and point? I’m not sure if I would go out of my way to come here for a meal but for business meetings or a bite after touring the museum, I’m all in!
