I love this place. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. My favorite are beef ribs or chicken and rib combo with rice. Yum yum yum

I like this place. Will have to go back to see if we have a better experience, but with that said, the restaurant handled it the right way, with no issue, so not much love lost… Setup & décor are dope. Location is GREAT! Right by Century theaters in Sandy… makes dinner & movie convenient. Menu is good. Nice variation & lots of healthy options. Our server must’ve been new, not just new to the place, but new to the profession.(Been there — rookie mistakes — all good) We ordered drinks, calamari, and a salad to start off with. For entrees; I ordered Kebabs, and husband ordered a Med-well NY steak. Calamari was good, nothing special, but good — liked the spicy marinara they served it, After being there for about an hour, started wondering when our main courses were coming. People next to us(sat down after we had drinks) got their order. Server came & admitted she had forgotten to put in our main course order. Didn’t have time to wait for a med-well steak to cook, so asked to pay for what we had received, and go ahead and cut it short. Took care of this, and, as we were leaving, server brought a take out bag out to our table with our main courses in it. Said it was«taken care of» because of the problems. Ok. nice gesture. The Kebabs were REALLYTASTY! Steak was still«mooing», but finished cooking it at home and it was good. Would’ve been nice to have a complete dinner at the restaurant. We’ll give it another try to see how it goes, and I’ll check in.

Went on valentines day without a reservation. they were able to seat us at the bar which was great. However there was no server for a while, ordered lettuce wrap appetizers which were good. Large portion. Then ordered the valentines day special, halibut with veggies suppose to come with salad which we never saw. And desert. Had to ask for our desert. Food is okay. Need to train servers. There were many people complaining about not getting waited on, and bringing there drinks up to bar for refills. Need to work out kinks before charging $ 30 for a meal.

First time there. Salmon Picatta was fantastic. Crust around the salmon was perfect. Lemon rice and vegetables were fresh steamed. I’d recommend to anyone. Kobe sliders where great. Beef not over cooked nice thick sliced tomato and a fresh bun. My son had the Car-Broiled steak sandwich and they cooked the beef perfectly. Chef is really on his game. The hostess was friendly and accommodating. We had 5 reservations in front of us but she sat us right away. We will definitely be back with friends…

Terrible. Acted like they didn’t want us there. Waitress seated us at a 4 person table next to the only other people in the restaurant. Everything she said was awkward. Food was poor as well. Pesto chicken pizza was too cheesy, not warm, and served with way too much lemon juice on top. Then they started vacuuming the restaurant while people were still eating so that they could leave earlier. Terrible. Horrible. No good. Very bad.

Good food, good service! Will definitely return, however, won’t order the Hell fire Bloody Mary again, tasty but will have heartburn for a week! Lol

Bizarre experience. Came in Monday evening for a quick bite before a movie. An older lady at the counter told us to «just take a seat over there» in their waiting area because«the kitchen was full». Didn’t take our name or anything, just walked away. Wouldn’t let us sit at the bar. Same thing happened with other people. We finally got seated. Next to us there were two just-vacated tables piled high with dirty dishes. Nobody cleaned them the entire time we were there, almost an hour. It was quite unappetizing. At the same time, people were waiting to be seated. Our server was good though. Kobe beef sliders were delicious. Thai lettuce wraps were alright. The restaurant itself has good ambient and I’d like to think some calamity befell the place that night and the service is normally better. Might visit again to give them another chance… But not sure yet.

Service was a bit slow, but worth the wait. I had the Wasatch burger(basically a burger with shaved rib meat on top) and it was legit– I’d recommend it to anybody! My wife had the Gorgonzola Steak Salad and she loved it, too. #imanadult

My family has been coming to Wasatch Broiler for over 25 years, both in their old location and new. The quality of the food hasn’t changed in that time. This place is a Utah gem. We love their chicken and lemon rice. I usually specify dark meat because I like the chicken to be moister. The ribs are to die for, and the veggies are always super fresh. My mom drives all the way from St. George just to have lunch at Wasatch. I hope we’ll be dining here for another 25 years.

I am what you could certainly call a regular. If you’re looking for cheap, run of the mill chain restaurant fare… skip this place. But if you’re in the mood for fresh and remarkable tasting food then Wasatch is the right place. The best chicken skewers around, the steak salad is incredible and the trout is downright magical. You won’t feel rushed in and out and seriously the quality of the food is far beyond what most places have to offer. This is one of my absolute favorite places in Utah.

This place blows my mind! It Friday night in a great location and the place is basically empty. My wife and I ordered two cokes barbecue chicken pizza and the chicken kabobs. The pizza was boring but tasted okay. The kabobs were OKAY. The service was OKAY but not great. The whole experience was Okay and has earned a table with the C average restaurants.

First time dining here and we were greeted at the door warmly and promptly. The waitress was friendly and on point. Couldn’t have asked for better service. We had the calamari appetizer and it was amazing with the fried jalapeño and lemons. The marinara sauce was tasty and paired well. For the main we all had the kebab chicken, steak and shrimp. It was served with rice and potatoes. The sides really highlighted the dishes and were amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly with chicken that was juicy and well seasoned. Honesty from the beer to the food I have no complaints. Excellent!

Something has got to change. This place is never as busy as it should be. The food is good. The service, for how busy it is, is lacking, but friendly. Food is usually over done, and often dry. But, tastes good. It kind of reminds me of home cooking. We keep trying it, because it’s clean, close, and not a chain. If they could be more attentive to there service ex: hostess at door, refill drinks, and don’t over cook the meat, this beautiful restaurant, might become as busy as its neighbors. The price is right, the atmosphere is nice. Hope they can pull it all together, and stick around.

My first time here will also be my last. My guest and I tried dinner here on a Friday night before a movie. Bad idea. We ordered the hummus platter appetizer, the lettuce wraps appetizer and the BBQ chicken and ribs entrée along with two iced teas. Murphys second law, once something goes wrong it will continue to go wrong for a long time before it goes right. Our lacking waitress came quickly and took our drink order. We asked for sweetener to be brought with them. That never happened so we grabbed it ourselves. And actually she forgot to bring the second tea out until we asked 20 minutes into the meal. The hummus platter has fresh veggies and decent dressings but the hummus itself was near inedible. How do u screw up Hummus?! Really? It was almost fully a taste of cumin and nothing else. Yuck! They brought the entrée out next and we had asked for it sans BBQ sauce but they forgot that too so my guest scraped it off. The chicken was tender but flavorless. The ribs flavorless and mediocre in their tenderness and juiciness. Just ok. Certainly not worth the $ 16 price tag. The rice it came with was also flavorless. Now 35 minutes into the meal and no sign of lettuce wrap appetizer. We asked and when they finally brought it out it had the crispy noodles on it which he had asked not to have. It took them another 7 minutes to get that corrected and by that time we were done and needed to get to our movie. Bad service. Bad food. Too high a price. Appetizers $ 13 and up! No I don’t recommend it. Eat at your own risk.

Wasatch Broiler is the yummiest! I love the steak kabob with lemon rice, so much flavor! It even comes with a little tortilla so you can put peices of steak and rice in it and eat it like a burrito! This place is casual with a fancy feel. Very classy and the staff is great. Definitely a favorite + its on the healthy side!

I miss the Murray location sooo much! It closed before I started Unilocaling and that would’ve gotten 5 stars from me. Hands down. But here’s the review for this location. Is it fair that most if is in comparison to the Murray location? Probably not. But life isn’t fair. And neither is food. –1 Quality of food. I just feel like it’s not as good as the Murray location. My rice is usually overlooked and chicken kabobs are usually too dry. Super unfortunate because… –1 Prices shot up. At least $ 1-$ 3 of each menu item compared to the Murray location. It’s a nicer place but it’s hard to justify with the quality of the food. Bottom lines: — I mean, it’s still good food. Worth a try. I don’t crave it like how I used to. — They have a good lunch menu but go when you have some time. — Large menu. I think your whole party could find something the fancy here. — They’re known for their kabobs. Ask for extra seasoning!

I’ve had their kabobs with saffron rice and steamed veggies before. Good but would be better with sauce. Their sweet potato fries with sauce are addictive. Their lettuce wraps are very light and healthy. The opposite of buttery Alfredo dishes.

I’m here several times a month because it’s convenient and the food is awesome. I haven’t had anything I DON’T like, however, I LOVE the gorgonzola steak salad, hamburger, and veggie and combination meat plate. I always get half potatoes and half rice because I can’t decide which is better. Today, I tried the Wasatch Bloody Mary for the first time, and, believe me, it’s better than Porcupine’s even. Next time, I’m getting a smaller dish so I can have more Bloody Marys. The staff has always been friendly and very accommodating, even when they’re busy! I would recommend Wasatch to anyone. :)
