The service itself isn’t bad but the food leaves a lot to be desired. The last time I took my family there they served us room temperature fries and the bread on my club sandwich was burned on one side. The kitchen staff decided to just put that part on the inside and cover it with mayo and cheese as if I wouldn’t taste the charred bread. If that weren’t bad enough, their director of ops and I had a conversation about my experience which ended with him telling me they would send a gift card. Looks like their word is about as good as the food.

Stopped in to grab a salad to go for lunch. Took 35 minutes to get order. Needless to say I won’t return.

Steak was cold and over cooked. Went during a non busy time and still got bad service. Our waitress was also the bar tender, she left her post and smoked a cigarette. When she returned it was as if she was still smoking beside us. We ordered the happy hour mushrooms and was charged full price. The service was nonexistent and we will not be returning to a steakhouse that doesn’t know how to steak.

Visiting from Hawaii with my husband. Our friends say you gotta have some barbecue meals since that is what Oklahoma is also known for. So We ate at Billy Sim’s at the Midwest location earlier for lunch today. Then planned to eat at Logan’s, also at the Midwest location, and let me tell you how bomb it was: We walked in to a great atmosphere of people enjoying their food and drinks. The music was not too loud. We were greeted immediately at the door. On our way to our table I thought it was unusual to be walking on shells, peanut shells! How fun. Our server greeted us and brought us our drinks as well as their complimentary buns, toasted to perfection as it melted the creamy sweet butter. I am a tea person and their un-sweetened tea was smooth, typical, and has that natural tea taste. Later on we were offered refills just past half-empty. So then on to the food. I ordered a full rack of ribs(half rack: $ 13.99, full: $ 18.99) with side cole-slaw and broccoli. Back home, our nearest go-to rib place is Ruby Tuesday’s and I gotta say that their flavors as well as tenderness doesn’t come close to Logan’s. So then we had Billy’s and thought that was good. Logan’s, by far, takes my #1 spot. The special sauce took it over the edge beyond a reasonable doubt. I now rank the following to be true: Ruby’s-5; Billy’s-6; Logan’s-10. Yes, Ruby’s doesn’t come anywhere close to these ribs! Being the 5′-tall petite Asian that I am, I definitely had leftovers and asked for extra sauce for later. Our server did not hesitate at all. (My husband ordered the $ 25.99, 20 oz. rib-eye at medium-rare. He devoured it with joy. Of course, I also sampled and it was made just right. No A1 sauce necessary!) At the end of the day, we were pleasantly surprised by the attentive young server and the quality of our food for the price we paid. As mentioned earlier, I don’t just give Logan’s ribs a 5, I gave it a 10!

Dined in for lunch today for going-away office function. We reserved and filled three large tables, so they were expecting us. Yet, only assigned one waitress for the entire party. Needless to say, she messed a few things up and took almost 30 minutes to cash us out. I ordered the smokey mountain BBQ chicken sandwich, which was pretty good. We had several people order steaks and a few of them weren’t cooked as requested and had to send them back. Overall, nothing special, just OK. Probably wouldn’t go back unless it’s for another group event.

Went there at 6 pm. Place was almost empty. People waiting to be seated. Plenty of tables available and wait staff to assist. Hostess says there will be a 5 minute wait. So we waited. I decided to ask for the mgr and see what the problem was. She told me they were setting up for a couple of groups and I would have to wait. We didn’t. We left and went to another place and were promptly seated. My fathers response would have been, «The bottle neck is generally found at the top of the bottle.» He was so right on so many things. This mgr could not see the forest for the trees. Will not go back.

We come here for the 2 for 14.99 dinner menu… the food is good and decently portioned… we luv their chicken entrees. Rolls are really good too… Sadly so we haven’t tried the steak yet so I have no opinion there…

I came here for lunch with my little family. I love their service so much. They are very attentive and I like that their manager comes by to check up on you. I had their salmon with veggies and loaded sweet potato. My hubby had the chicken and gravy. The food was alright but I just really enjoyed their service.

I didn’t find the food here to be very good. I tried the steak house burger, which was pretty bland. The ribs was a bit dry as well, but it was ok. For a BBQ/Steak place, they were pretty stingy on napkins. Each time I asked for«some napkins» I would only receive 1 napkin. The sweet potato fries would be good if they didn’t sprinkle the cinnamon stuff on it. I want regular sweet potato fries, not some dessert cinnamon fries for lunch. I really enjoyed the free rolls though, it really good. I would just be satisfied with the rolls itself and call it a day.

If you are not a bakery, and your rolls are your main selling point, you have a problem.* But I know what I’m in for whenever I show up here, so I’ve no one but myself to blame. This is part of the regular rotation of places that my coworkers enjoy coming to, so I’m here way more often than I should be. No excuse on the last visit, though … was craving some rolls, had a coupon, was literally a block away … I’m sorry. Anyway, there are a couple legitimately edible items on the menu, and I should have stuck with the burgers. The burgers are not good, but they are solidly mediocre. Unfortunately, I decided to be adventurous and had a chopped steak so bland that I can’t even come up with an appropriate comparison or adjective to describe it because it makes nothing at all spring to mind. Salt, steak sauce, more salt, more steak sauce, a little bit of the butter from the rolls, just to try to choke it down.** But you know what? Coupled with the instant mashed potatoes and cafeteria mac & cheese, it actually all fit well together in a pile of offensive tastelessness. So very, very bad food. And the water on some of the taps is sheer nastiness; I’d noticed on a previous visit but thought I was just being picky. I wasn’t the only one to grimace this time, so we complained, and as it turns out the water from the bar itself tasted fine. Very odd indeed. So yeah, there’s no reason to go here, and I’m never straying from those yummy rolls and mediocre burgers ever again. Service was very good, so I’ll give back a star for that … can we just get the great independents to handle the food and have the corporate drones do the server training? Is that so impossible? * Yes, language police, I suppose I actually mean«if you do not own or work in a bakery,» rather than that you are literally a bakery and therefore not sentient, as far as we know. ** It’s partly the dish and partly that it was badly cooked. They have one of my pet peeves here, where the person bringing your food semi-orders you to cut into your steak immediately upon bringing it to the table. I was tempted to make a fuss, but I didn’t. I dutifully cut into the steak and determined that my «medium» steak was somewhere between«well done» and«suitable for use in radio carbon dating the age of the cow.» But since the food bringer specifically ordered me to cut into it to make sure it was cooked all the way(rather than how I wanted it), and because I knew darn well I was not exactly in a high-class steakhouse, I just agreed that boy, that was one dead cow.

The service was fast and friendly. My steak was well priced and they had great lunch and early afternoon deals… If only I ate dinner before 5! They have the peanuts on the table which my wife loves and I get germaphobic about… The rolls beforehand with cinnamon butter were incredible. I would recommend and we will be back. We ate 2 nice meals for under $ 25.

Review #4 I’m originally from Oklahoma, OKC area, although I live in the DC area now. But while back in town for the Thanksgiving holiday visiting family, my parents took me to Logan’s for dinner. I had the 6 oz filet mignon, medium well, [butterflied to cook it quicker(which I wouldn’t recommend since it dried it out a bit] but it was still incredible. I got the sweet potato with marshmellows & caramel topping & it was truly a dessert & a healthy vegetable in one. The baked potato was too large to eat in one sitting, so you’ll need a take home box for it. The house salad was OK. This place is good for a great steak & baked potato combo meal without breaking your pocket book. You get free all you can eat peanuts in the shell, so they’re safe to eat since you shell them yourself – no one’s fingers on the peanuts directly like in a bar bowl.

While on the road almost 1400 miles from home. When I saw I was close to a Logan’s I was happy I usually get decent food and service. In this case, I was wrong. I did not get decent service, I got phenomenal service. I was lucky to have Kirsten, aka«the beast» who was one of the best servers I have had in a while. My glass was never empty, and I did not ask for anything, as she was always ahead of me. If her manager reads this, they need to put her in charge of training the other servers. She seems like she is new to the industry but carries years of experience. Now enough about my great service, let’s talk food. I started with mozzarella stick, so I could kill some time and unwind as I had been on my feet 10 hours and needed to decompress. I expected out package sticks with bland sauce, and would have been ok with that. The sticks were hot, crispy and had fresh curated cheese on top. The sauce was tasty and very much like I have had in many italian restaurants. Now my interests was peaked, when Kirsten returned to take my order. Being somewhat let down that the largest filet on the menu was only 8oz and I was in beef country, I asked if they could help me out. Without missing a beat, I was told, we have a 12 oz filet. Sign me up, and double mashed potatoes please. Medium temperature on the filet please. Well when the steak arrived, Kirsten stood by while I checked the temperature, perfect. I don’t say that often when it comes to steak as I was raised on Jess & Jim’s steak house in Kansas City and frequent Charley’s and Berns in Tampa Florida. The steak could not have been cooked any better. The meat was favorable and seasoned nicely, a true success for the price point. The potatoes were decent, nothing out of this world but comfortable and filling. Dessert was a signature mini bucket of brownie and ice cream, to top of a great meal. If anyone had ever told me I would be giving Logan’s a 5 star rating, I would have laughed. But here I sit, thanking my lucky stars that I stopped in. Thank you Logan’s in Oklahoma for making my evening wonderful and filling and providing me with service that would have fit in at any $ 150 a plate establishment easily. Keep it up. Thanks, Craig

The peanut shells all over the floor décor is an excuse for a mess. ok fine. I went with 4 other people. we all ordered something different. All of our food tasted as if the cook un-screwed the lid off the salt shaker and dumped the whole bottle on it. Im talking the saltiest food i’ve ever encountered period. the worst part about this was the manager said we were the only ones who ever had any complaints and that’s just the seasonings they use. I left feeling like the name of the game here is eat a mouthful of salt, shut up, pay your bill and get out.

Really 2.5 stars. Our server was very friendly, yet the service was a little slow. Food is incredibly salty, seriously some of the saltiest food ever. BF had the grilled meatloaf smothered in from-the-can gravy. He said it reminded him of what you might eat in a high school cafeteria — though he did say for cafeteria food it was really good. I had a 6oz steak«onion brewski» style which was OK — tons of onion strips and herb butter. Grilled veggie skewer was very tasty(though covered in salt). Baked sweet potato was a-ok(if you’re really looking to blow your diet, you can get it with marshmallows and caramel sauce). This place was fine for a late-night dinner near a hotel, but no one should ever seek out this place.
