Great service. So easy to talk to. So helpful. No rush, no pressure. Large portions. Good food. Quiet and airy. Will definitely be back.

Given there’s no Asian restaurant around the area, they actually did a great job. The place is clean, and comfortable. Location is kinda hidden, easy to miss it. Food was good, I had the beef stew handmade noodles. A bit oily. But it was not bad. Parking: it’s in a strip mall, so there’s plenty of parking. Service: the girl was polite and friendly.

Solid Asian food place. Had the beef chow fun and spicy beef stew noodle soup. Their hand made noodles are a little too mushy though. The moon cakes are good. Bopa needed a lot of work with the flavor.

I must have been in on an off day or something. All the reviews made me expect the best food I’ve ever eaten, but it was just ok. Nothing special, but it wasn’t horrible. I did find the flavors and freshness of items to be on par with what you’d expect. It’s super easy to get to and there is plenty of parking. Once inside, the restaurant is very clean with plenty of seating. The bakery case greets you as you walk to the back to place your order. And while you wait there are kitschy items along the far wall for sale. You’ve been looking for a giant baby bottle pillow, right? The woman at the register was very kind and quick to get my order in — I waited less than 10 minutes start to finish. I ordered Udon with pork, which is my favorite dish, and the noodles were a little under-cooked and really greasy. More so than I’m used to. The vegetables and pork were great and cooked well, but when you can’t eat the noodles… what’s the point of the dish? I’m definitely willing to give it another shot but not until I’m in the area. I’m not driving 30 minutes to get food that I am already not too excited about.

My daughter and I went to the resturant hoping to get some bubble tea. We went around two o’clock in the after noon and there was no one in the resturant. It took the lady ten minutes to come take our order and then in the middle of our order she said wait a minute and just left. Waited for another five minute and she didn’t come back so we left. Dont waste your time or money on this place.

I had the wonton noodle soup and my hubby had the pork belly dinner. Marinated duck was delish! Overall our experience there was very good! Great to see the restaurant was filled with all the Chinese people!

I think the secret has gotten out about Fusion Café, I walked in today and the place was packed. Everything I’ve had there has always been delicious and the owner is always so nice. My favorites are the House Noodles, Singapore Noodles, and Spicy Beef Noodle Soup. I tried their chicken cutlet noodle soup today and definitely enjoyed that!

This place is a hidden gem! And my reason for saying that is because it can be hard to miss while driving the busy intersection. I’ve been here a few times now and they’re food is absolutely amazing, priced at a very reasonable cost. For starters, a great side dish to start with is the Crabmeat Ragoon. It’s listed at(5) for $ 3.95, but every time I go, I’ve always gotten(6). But seriously, try them. They’re heaven. If you’re into soup, fear not, the bowls are huge and you’re given a good portion to get you full. I’ve tried the Wonton Soup and it was absolutely delicious. This particular soup cost me $ 7.50. Their soups range from $ 7.50-$ 11.00 depending on what kind you want. I’ve also tried the BBQ Pork Rice Noodles on a separate visit, and of course, it was also very good. They’re quick to serve the food, so you don’t have to worry about a long wait for something simple. The Bubble Tea is something new that I’ve tried and definitely enjoy! I try to get a new flavor each time I go and would certainly recommend it to anyone. If you become a fan of it, their business card is also a punch card for the teas leading up to a free one after so many. The bakery is also very yummy and fresh as they have a different selection every few days. The staff is extremely friendly and the location is very clean. So far it’s one of my favorite places to eat at.

Summary: great place for noodles and Chinese bakery items, very quick! Zero ambiance but doesn’t matter. My go to place for noodles in Milwaukeee Parking: easy to park has a parking lot in the complex Seating: came here on a Saturday around 1pm. Pretty full for such a late lunch time but still a decent amount of spots for us to sit. Choose your own seating Ordering: order at the counter, and then go and sit at the table of your choosing. Food: –Singaporean noodles: so tasty, curry taste was strong one of the best Singaporean noodles I’ve had! The dish was well balanced with meat, veggie, and noodles –spicy beef noodles with handmade noodles: loved this! Quite peppery and the handmade noodles were so perfect. Loved the texture. The beef was so tender and tasty Would get both of these dishes again! Want to try all the other noodle dishes as well. –bakery items: egg custard– the crust was nice and flakey, custard was good as well; lotus cake-lots of filling! loved it the outside was also perfectly flaky; sponge cake– perfectly slightly sweet and nice and light Definitely coming back to try the bubble tea and other noodles. Also going to make it a point to come early to get the baos

Service — 5 stars(for its price point). People are very friendly. The place looks clean enough. Chinese Bakery — 5 stars — the baked goods seem to be fresh, probably delivered very frequently. They ran out of some. They had a pork & Shrimp inside a deep fried dough ball. I don’t know what it is called but it is simply amazing. I took only one bite from it — it was sinfully delicious but sinfully super fattening. Regretfully, I discarded it. There were a few other deep fried balls, with various fillings. I tried the bean past and that too was excellent. They have a chinese fruit layered cake — I did not try it but I bet it tastes good — I know what they taste like, from else where. They are superior, in my opinion, at similar kind from the usual American bakery stores. Almost always, I dislike cakes in grocery stores — even cake stores for that matter, in America. Too much butter and butter frosting and not to my liking. I tried the spicy shrimp soup with hand made noodles. 3 stars. I am not an expert at what hand made noodles should taste like and I would not disagree if others say they were worthy of 5 stars. I was not too impressed with it. By the way, the shrimp would be with shell on — perhaps that is the way the Chinese people it it but for me, it became messy to remove the shell. Just as a bakery, and considering this is Milwaukee, this place deserves 5 stars. I cannot say that the rest of the food is 5 star worthy — I have not tried enough varieties of it. And based on my experience with the soup, I am reluctant to go back. Kawa and Kyoto are much more to my preference.

I’m a fan of this place because I do not know of any other Chinese bakery in Milwaukee. I use to go to Chinatown in New York to get bao(buns) and dumplings quite often. This place brings me back to that time when I could easily get my Chinese Bakery fix. When this place first opened, I nearly came on a monthly basis to get the inexpensive bao, which ranged from ~75 cents to $ 1.50 each bao. I would get nearly a dozen assorted baos for less than $ 12. I would specifically come in for the sweet pork barbeque bao, wintermelon, anything with red bean or sesame, and the taro. Generally, everything is good depending on your pallate and its fun to have something new(there are a good assortments to choose from). However, I recently found out that they don’t make sweet BBQ pork bao any longer, which brought my rating down(it would be a 5 star post if it was still there!). Suggestions: I use to come here on a saturday or sunday morning when the bao was fresh. I would suggest to come right when they open! Caveat about my review: This review is less centered on the bakery, not the food and bubble tea. The bubble tea is not anything great in my opinion, but it’s a decent. The food is satisfying and savory with a good assortment of Chinese noodles.

I still love this place, but today there were no pork, etc buns and the waiter told me they’re not doing them any more! Noooooo! Bring back the bao, now!!!

Sounded like a fun place for lunch before heading to the airport. Ordered the Shrimp Udon as it looked good in the online menu. The place is clean and bright and the staff is helpful and friendly and clearly enjoy working there. The display cases of Oriental baked goods was an interesting twist. They all looked good, but I knew I wouldn’t have room. The ordering was a little confusing as you don’t see a menu till you’re at the register and need to order. Glad I looked at the menu online. There’s no where to wait by the register for your food so I went and sat down. They brought it out to me like that’s the way it normally works. The dish looked and tasted better than it did in the menu. And there was enough that I shouldn’t have finished it, but I did since I couldn’t take it with me.

Good asian fusion with yummy singapore fried rice noodle! They also bake asian style cakes and buns, not too sweet and super soft! Pity that they did not have many bakery options today:( PS:they also have bubble tea and slush including delicious Avocado slush, a must try!

This place transports me back to Hong Kong! Very authentic dishes! My husband loves the Singapore noodles and I love the Spicy/Hot and Sour chicken soup with their homemade noodles(these noodles are AMAZING). We tried a beef soup and the meat had too much fat for my liking, I should have known better because it was made in the authentic style — so I’ll just stick to the chicken. We have yet to try the stir fry dishes, but every time we walk by a table with them they look delicious(and again authentic). There is also a bakery with delicious savory and sweet Chinese treats. I’m no connoisseur in this area, but everything we’ve tried is similar to treats in the bakeries we tested in HK. I wish they had a little more variety in their bakery(just because we can’t do a lot of of the savory buns because of the pork). I’d love to see more taro and other fruit(ie mango) treats! They do offer a really yummy fruit cake that’s light and totally worth checking out.

I’m just not a big fan of Fusion Café. On our first visit we arrived at 7:40pm on a Friday night, not even thinking twice about the time. We were surprised that they were closing at 8pm. We were told we could not eat in, we could only order take out. I ordered a noodle dish– the beef chow fun. The bf ordered the beef noodle soup. Both dishes were mediocre. He was wishing he had just got phở and I was wishing I had just ordered Thai. I also attempted to order bubble tea when I was there but there were out of tapioca. When bubble tea is a big thing you advertise, you really shouldn’t be out of tapioca pearls. On my second visit I stopped in to try that bubble tea. I ordered a taro bubble tea and yes, this time they did have tapioca in stock. However their bubble tea was one of the least enjoyable I’ve ever had. The tea was iced and liquidy instead of smoothie like. And it was definitely lacking flavor and watered down. After two less than mediocre visits, I doubt I’ll be back.

I am so glad they are here. And by here I mean not downtown, which means I can come here alllllll I want and I might as well. Their food and bubble tea are delicious. I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup with handmade noodles. Man, those noodles are deliciously perfect. Not too thick, not too thin, good texture. Piping hot bowl of spicy yumminess that will make you sweat — in a good way. The bubble tea was also surprisingly good. I got the regular milk tea and I was happy to see that it wasn’t overpowered by sugar and milk/cream. You could really taste the tea and there were a good amount of tapioca pearls. My friend also really liked the taro slush. My other companions also enjoyed their meals(I forgot the names of their dishes but I added a picture of them). And then there’s the bakery case. Lots of goodies even though the selection isn’t super abundant, which is fine by me because I take it as a sign of quality over quantity. Their coconut bun is awesome! Note — they have a pretty strict«no credit cards for under $ 10» rule. If you want to buy a couple pastries for $ 3ish bucks, they’ll make you buy $ 10 worth before letting you use your card. Not sure how legal this is — I was just thinking they’d charge me an extra 50 cent convenience fee but yeah. Bring cash if you plan on spending less than $ 10. Anyways, I’m looking forward to coming back for their bubble tea and try out some other dishes!

My coworker had suggested Fusion Café and I was originally kind of hesitant because I didn’t know what the food would be like and I’m kind of picky when it comes to Asian(well particularly Chinese) food. But honestly I was pleasantly surprised by Fusion Café. Right when you walk in, there is bakeries on display — You don’t know how excited I was to see that. I haven’t been able to find a place that sells bakeries like that without having to go to Chicago’s Chinatown so I definitely got some to go. I honestly did hug the bakery case… ha! I ordered the Beef Stew Noodle Soup with hand made noodles and it was very good. I wasn’t expecting it to come in such a big bowl and there was definitely more than enough for one person. I wish it had more pieces of beef instead a lot of tendons/fat but that’s a matter of personal preference. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I will definitely be back.

As far as I know, this is the only place in Milwaukee that sells traditional Chinese beef noodle soup and probably the only place that sells assorted Chinese baked goods as well(bbq pork buns, pineapple buns, moon cakes etc.) Unlike most of the other Chinese take out places in the area, Fusion café does not seem to sell your typical Americanized Chinese food like Orange chicken, sweet and sour pork, crab rangoons. This is totally fine by me because I came here for the beef noodle soup with handmade noodles. For $ 9 you get a generous bowl of soup. The handmade noodles are awesome, they are perfectly imperfect and provide great variance in texture and mouth feel for the dish as a whole. There were a generous amount of beef chunks, which were a mix of meat, fat, and tendon. The meat was tender and not chewy at all, but there did seem to be quite a bit of fat and tendon, which weren’t my favorite. The broth itself was hearty, a good amount of salty, and delicious overall without adding a single extra thing. I wish the dish had more bok choy in it though. The buns were not too shabby as well and plus they are half off after 6 pm! This will definitely be my go to place in the winter months when I’m craving a hot bowl of beef noodle soup.
