So sad to see this has closed! I only got to eat there once and it’s a shame. It was the best sandwich and hand cut potatoes chips I ever had!!! The fact that this restaurant is closed is a travesty. I weep.

Great crafted sandwiches. Always get excited looking at their menu board. Hardest part is deciding which to go with.

Great little place to stop and get a beer and sandwich. They have special made fries you can get, think thin potato chips. Clean cuts of meat and about 3 – 4 beers on tap and a few more in the fridge. Friendly staff and quick service.

Really good sandwiches and portion sizes. They’re a little sloppy with the sauce, so ask for it on the side. Ingredients are fresh, the food is tasty, and the service is great. The vibe is that of a gastropub, but without the high end beer. Great place for repeat business; a plethora of sandwiches and sides all reasonably priced and really darn good.

This place was fantastic. I was in town for business and had just gotten off a flight. I was starving and looked to Unilocal to find a place close to my hotel. This place has a huge board of a variety of sandwiches and salads. I chose the Turkey Diablo and it was delicious. The green chiles were not spicy but added a great flavor along with the pepper jack cheese. The sandwich was the perfect size with a side of coleslaw. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking to grab a filling bite to eat. If I’m back in town, this would be the first place I would go to again.

This is a small place but it was surprisingly not bad. They have so many choices and the two we chose last time were both good.

Best sandwich shop in minot. I’ve tried most of the menu and loved all of it. Highly recommend the«Left Hander» if you’re new to it.

Where to get some decent food in North Dakota? Why not Minot? After reading reviews about this place I had hope for a good experience, but with my recent disappointments with Midwest food my bar was set extremely low. To my surprise the sandwich was delicious and lived up to its hype! My buddy and I sat in front of the counter where they made the sandwiches and we got a front row view of the cooks in action. It was clear that everything was fresh and made-to-order: every burger patty and chicken breast started out raw and were cooked to perfection on the grill. I was also entertained by the excessive cursing muttered under the cooks’ breaths.(If you’ve ever worked in a kitchen you know swearing is a requirement!) To me, it means that they actually give a shit about the product they put out and get pissed when things go wrong. That being said, they also started small talk with us and were very friendly. The sandwich comes with a side of house-made potato chips, slaw, or cottage cheese. I thought the chips were great, but my friend thought it was slightly burnt — oh well. The atmosphere was casual and the Usher music videos bumpin in the background, for better or for worse, took me back to my high school days. If for whatever reason I’m back in Minot, I’d probably be back again.

We were all starving when our plane landed in Minot. I did some research on restaurants before heading to North Dakota – it was one of the top rated food places. It didn’t hurt that two of our friends had just eaten there and thought the sandwiches were good. You order at the counter then they call your name to pick up your food. It was busy! There wasn’t a table big enough for our party that we split up and sat at the bar. It didn’t take long though for people to get up and leave then we reconvene at a larger table. I had the Ba-Da Boom, it was an Italian sandwich with pepperoni, salami, pastrami, provolone, pepperoncini, lettuce, and red peppers. Served with a pickle and side of homemade chips. It was delicious, but way too much meat. I ended up picking some of the pastrami out but if you’re looking for something hearty, these sandwiches will do the trick.

The turkey diablo was possibly the best sandwich I’ve ever had. Only downside was that the seating area was small and it was hard to find a seat.

Great sandwiches, can I recommend the«Turkey Diablo». Prepared fresh, mouth watering ingredients. Good atmosphere, and great service to top it off. Great lunch spot!

I’m a huge fan of little eateries such as this, locally owned and operated. In a place such as Minot, where chain restaurants are very popular, this is a refreshing choice! I ordered grilled cheese with tomato and bacon and a side of loaded tater tots. My friend had the turkey bravo. Both were very tasty! The atmosphere in this place is great, too. It’s small and quaint but not snobby. It’s a bit hipster and reminds me of small sandwich boutiques in larger cities. I think, however, the prices are a bit steep. And the cook that day put our sandwiches together all wonky. Instead of layering the bacon, there were little bacon legs sticking out either side of my sandwich. And my friend’s sandwich was discombobulated too. Put the sandwich together a bit better and it would be perfect. Would definitely visit again!

We’d eaten here before, when we would have given the Bistro a 4 – 5 star review, but last night was pretty dismal. They were out of two main ingredients(pulled pork and chicken), the iced tea was warm, the chips had a burned taste, the bun was stale, the coleslaw was tired and bland. But most importantly, the staff was sullen and unmotivated. The overall vibe was unwelcoming … dead even. So sad, because we had a completely different experience here two Octobers ago when the place and its food were vibrant.

Yum. Don’t get a salad. Eat a sandwich or a burger. Even the vegetarian is delicious. Definitely the place to chill and eat and drink a beer in Minot.

Very, very good. I like that they run out of meats – that means everything is fresh and not sitting around. Not the fastest sandwich place but worth the extra time for them to make a great sandwich.

This place is one of my friend’s favorite places to go so I went here with him on Monday, 5÷28÷2012. Overall, I thought this place was okay. I love the comfortable atmosphere and the music videos they play on the screens. I was a bit unhappy about the service though. The girl with the piercings had horrible customer service and was more interested talking to and joking around with the other workers than to get our orders and serve us. The guy who came around later during our meal was way more hospitable and made the meal more enjoyable. The T Muel’s sandwich had a good layer of pulled pork and turkey which went nicely with the Swiss and jalapeño Dijon. The rye bread was soft and was normal sandwich bread. The pickle was pretty good and it was served with chips. I thought the overall flavor was okay, but nothing to write home about. I was disappointed about the salad because I thought when they said the salad was as big as the tray, that it would be filled a bit more rather than an inch layer of romaine lettuce. On one hand, the romaine lettuce was crisp and there was a good layer of Parmesan cheese. However on the other hand, the croutons were tasteless, stale, and soft and the amount was depressing for the price. Mainly because I saw a bigger salad for the same price and it was served with crispy croutons and chicken at the local supermarket. Overall, this place is okay and I might be back here again, but I think I’d avoid the girl with the piercings so I can be served faster and have friendlier service. I think that left me with a bad impression that lingered through the meal therefore I think I’d try this place again. Note: The rating for this place is based on the food offered in the area.
