We went in last night around 10 pm. This was the first time we had gone here and wow we will definitely be back for more. This place was great, amazing service, great food and such a laid back environment. This is probably the best place we’ve been to in a long time. The prices were wonderful as well. We don’t go out much and it always sucks when you leave disappointed but wow this place is the bomb! Our waiters were outstanding constantly checking up on us to see how we were doing. Our sushi chef was mt dew and wow he was completely amazing, he knew exactly what he was doing and even started conversation with us. The place was pretty jammed when we walked in and yet everyone still went out of their way to make the service excellent. Great job wabi sabi we will definitely be going back soon.

Lunch with some co workers 10 year mile stone for some of them. The Chef displayed a good show for them when he heard it was their first time. Thank you Chef. A few plates of Sushi Spicy Tuna Roll and Spider Roll tasty. New York Steak Medium n Shrimp with Fried Rice for all a little strange but it is understandable absolutely tasty. Service was great, all can’t wait to bring the family to try. Guess they are all happy campers with a full belly. Hard work is appreciated.

We went there for sushi last week. We are new to the area and were hoping to find our new sushi hangout. We were greeted by a lovely hostess and asked to sit at the sushi bar. She tried seating us but a busy body coworker shuffled us around to other seats. The menu looked good and we had a fantastic sushi chef, Solo. He was very helpful and made good selections. The rolls were small and pricey for what we got. Solo was happy to make a custom roll for me as well. I had the Kami Kaze roll, my husband had the Hawaii roll as well as some sashimi. The low stars are based on the fact that we were both sick that night. We won’t be going back. Sad because it is close to iur house.

I’ve been to other Wabi Sabi restaurants. This place had good food, however, the«show» was very short, lasted from start to finish seven mins. As soon as our food was done, our check was out and the«to go» plates. Just felt rushed. To top it off, we ordered more sushi and the waitress came by and asked if we wanted our check. We had more food coming. Come on people! Probably not coming back.

One of the better sushi places out in the Eastvale/Chino area. It’s not the best I’ve ever eaten, but with limited sushi options out here I guess we can’t be too picky. They tend to use a lot of sesame seeds in their sushi so if you aren’t a sesame seed person this place isn’t for you. I usually stick with the rainbow sushi roll, crunchy shrimp tempura roll, salmon sushi, and spicy scallop hand roll. They are pretty generous on their hand roll sizing. Their habachi style shrimp and filet mignon isn’t bad either. They aren’t reinventing the wheel on this so it’s the typical stuff. Their dinner pricing is higher for a larger portion, but I’ve found that their lunch pricing is great and I tend to still get full even with the lunch portion. I’m not sure if it’s much smaller or the same, but the pricing is way better

This was my first time here. It was Better than I expected. They were playing kaskade when we sat down. What a great start to dinner. We sat at the sushi bar. Ordered a custom albacore roll and kamakazi roll. Both were so good. Then we ordered fried rice. Nothing special but it wasn’t bad. So happy we finally tried wabi sabi. But now that we know it’s good and we live down the street we might be here all the time lol.

This place is basically a knock off of Benihana! It’s the same style teppanyaki where they have a cool show while they cook your food plus they also serve sushi just at a cheaper price. My friends and I decided to come here while we rented out an AirBnB. I ordered the steak and shrimp meal and a Spider roll. The chicken fried rice here was actually very tasty. Well seasoned with lots of chicken too! The steak was cooked perfectly too, medium just the way I like it. And the shrimp was great too! The Spider roll was alright, nothing too amazing except for the fact that it was only $ 9! The show we got was nowhere near the same in terms of technical skill as the chefs in Benihana, but for the price we paid, it was alright. Still a fun night with a few hiccups here and there. Overall, the food was great, the portions were average, the show was meh, and the price was fair. Nice place to go to celebrate someone’s birthday if they’ve never been to Benihana or experienced anything like this.

Where shall I start First and last visit Ordered Shrimp and Scallops Shrimp tough, must have been frozen Scallops looked like Scallops on the Grill, however, the taste wasn’t there I complained that they weren’t done. I was then given Scallops from the kitchen, I really think they served me ToFu. No Taste, tough, vinegar taste, what can I say Nope, I won’t be back. Good luck to you, the worst Experience ever at a Sushi Grill. Oh well.

I have mixed feelings about this place. We go here for lunch during the week. I notice the lunch combos are getting smaller in portion size. I should have taken a photo on our last trip to show you, will do that next time. The meat and veggies lay flat on your plate spread out thinly and not much on your plate for example. Service is always good, food tastes good but not happy with this portion thing.

Love this place! Me and my friend ate there today and had some Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura, a Crunchy Roll, a Kamikaze Roll and a 2 pieces of Salmon Sushi. Everything was delicious! The service was great and the food came out quickly but we also got there right when it opened.

We walked in with perfect timing… Got a grill table with another family without any waiting. As we looked over the menu, I noticed 3 things… First, when the grill area is full — it’s really loud in there! People are really having a good time with families… So it’s not someplace I would recommend if you want a more intimate setting. Second, it was really stuffy and smokey inside. I know they have vent hoods on all the tables, but I couldn’t tell if any of them were on! One of the servers finally opened the side door and fresh air rushed in — everyone, literally, clapped! And last, the floor was very slick. It looked clean… But was slippery as heck all the way from the table to the restrooms. Gotta be grease… But, like I said, the floor did look clean. This sounds like a bad review… But it’s not! I would give the food and the employees 5 stars if it wasn’t for the above. Really, this should get 4.5 stars. Our server, as well as all the servers, were at the top of their game. As soon as an empty glass touched the table, they were right there to ask if we wanted refills and they even knew what we were drinking without asking. They were all very nice and personable. We will definitely go back again!

Absolutely love this place!!! My favorite sushi rolls are the KamiKaze and the Fire Roll! Love sitting at the bar and having the guys behind the counter remember us… Harry is the best! Always happy and a lot of energy! This is out Friday night spot!

As much as I was hoping to give a high review, the food is just mediocre and service is just as bad. we ordered $ 90 worth of sushi plates and the rolls were not fresh. every plates were smothered in sauce to cover up the lack of freshness of the rice and fish. the rolls would be something similar you would find at the local market shelves toward end of the day. Simply low grade quality and lack of sushi skills. the sushi chef are vietnamese. Nothing wrong against being different ethnicity, but at least learn how to roll the sushi rolls half way decent. all the rolls were compacted loosely and lacked density. Not to mention, the rolls were half portion size compared to other japanese restaurants. the service was just ok, as the server never came by to ask how our party was doing nor bothered to serve our food when the sushi chef called that it was ready. We had to literally raise our hand for assistance for wasabi and ginger as some of the plates were missing these. would have expected more for $ 90 dinner. but as lot of the reviews mentioned on Unilocal… its one of those place customers come by due to proximity and not for the good food or service. sorry… i will stick with Ojiya in Chino Hills when it comes to Sushi. much better service and high quality japanese sushi who dont skimp on freshness.

I’m not here for magic tricks at the teppan grill. I’m a sashimi groupie! I usually hang at the Ontario location but I came here out of convince. Specials are different here. Not good. A chain should offer the same specials as other locations. I understand it’s small business at its best. However, the portions here were guarded. Small Small and smaller. I asked for mint leaves to eat with my sashimi and I was told Americans don’t eat them. :-(well this Peruvian American does!

My party had ordered the Tempura and the Lucky Boat for dinner. Given the price for everything, I had expected some decent to great sushi and sashimi. I was disappointed. When the tempura came out, our waitress dropped a piece on the floor. I’m typically not a big fan of tempura to begin with so I won’t leave a comment about the quality. When the Lucky Boat came out, I was excited since there was a few of everything for us to try. There was about 11 different things on the boat, including tuna and salmon(2 of my favorites). The spicy tuna roll was great. It had the right amount of kick to it. The salmon sashimi was delicious, fatty, and flavorful. Sadly, that’s about all I enjoyed eating. The rest of the dishes were definitely not worth the cost.

Ever since I moved to Eastvale, Wabi Sabi has been one of the most visited restaurants for me. Not because I love the food, but because my family really enjoys coming here to catch up and hang out over the weekend. It’s a pretty fun place to be, but the food is okay… nothing above the ordinary. THEDETAILS: Located at the Vernola Marketplace shopping center with Lowes and the Bed Bath & Beyond. The restaurant has a sushi bar, tables, and the teppan area. The décor is very traditional with a lot of Japanese influences. The waiters/waitresses are friendly but they can sometimes be forgetful. The guys at the sushi bar are funny and interactive. The restaurant is generally clean and well kept. The manager is very nice and she walks around to check up on how the food and service is. This place is usually poppin’ over the weekend! It gets super crowded. THEFOOD: I’ve tried many, many things here! From sushi to teppan, I’ve tried it all. As for sushi, I’ve tried the rainbow, crunchy, California, spider, MGM, and more. The sushi is okay, I’ve had better but it does satisfy my cravings. The teppan is not bad, but sometimes depending on the chef it can be VERY salty. I really enjoy the chicken fried rice a lot, it’s delicious! The baked mussels are good too but my only complaint is that they only give you 3 mussels… at least make it an even number so my mom and I aren’t fighting for the 3rd one. THEEND? By choice I probably wouldn’t come here to get sushi or teppan, but it’s close and my family does love this place.
