It is shut down now. Not sure why. But will have to say it was not very good. Staff or food. One time a server placed her cigarette pack down on our table to get her order pad out. She then began to tell us about her brothers child support issues. It was our last time there.

too long to wait for food; we went in for brunch; waited almost an hour to be seated, with tables available, was still having to wait. Then when we finally got to order, which was 15 mins. after being seated, it took over an hour for our food to arrive. Waitress was very nice, and said there were a few problems in the kitchen(whatever that means),; we did not ask the problem. Food was good, once received! Will not return, unless we have almost 3 hours to have brunch. Not a good idea if you are a very busy person.

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about but we have visited this location twice in the last 6 months and had nothing but good experiences. We love not having to wait for an hour to be seated on the weekends and our waiters have always been very attentive(Patrick is great). The restaurant is also clean. No bad experiences here! ;)

TThis Is by far the WORST experience I have EVER had eating ANYWHERE!!! We waited 15 minutes to get sat, but could clearly see at least 8 tables open(we should have gotten the hint), then waited 15 minutes to have someone even acknowledge our presence at a table… After flagging down a bus boy to get us drinks(which was a water, coffee, and large OJ), we got the coffee without any creamer and then had to wait ANOTHER15 minutes to have someone swing by and take our order with the biggest attitude ever!!! She told us that she would bring Creamer and two more waters… Which took ANOTHER10 minutes. When she finally brought this stuff to us we were pretty frustrated. She gave us the BIGGESTATTITUDE I HAVEEVEREXPERIENCED in a place of business. She just asked us if we’d like to cancel our order and that everyone was having a bad day there. Needless to say I will NEVEREVER come back to this pathetic place. Oh and might I add that we waited around 3 – 4 minutes after I food arrived to get our silver wear. We didn’t expect much but seriously this was awful!

I have been going to this IHOP for years! I have walked out at least 3 times for being ignored-not being seated! I swear every time I go there I tell myself I will never go back! Today took the cake-Waited for over 5 min to be seated then Sat for 45 min just to be told there were 2 orders ahead of me and it would be another 10 min-walked out! Will NEVER return. Unless you have over an hour to wait for food-stay away!

This location has finally closed! It’s about time they are out of business — bad service did them in! So disappointing because I love me some iHOP pancakes! This has to be the most poorly run IHOP ever… We have a place on Lake Conroe and our special treat is to head over by boat on a Sunday for breakfast. Today(Father’s Day) will be the last! This was the last straw!!! By the time we got there, more like brunch, around 11, there were several empty tables and no wait. We were told after being seated, that it would take up to 45 minutes to get our food!!! Supposedly they were short a cook? ARE U KIDDINGME??? On a Sunday AND Father’s Day you don’t staff up? It did take that long and we waited with all the other antsy patrons. Our waitress said the manager won’t spend any additional money to beef up the staff because the location isn’t profitable enough — and if we asked to see her and complain, she would take something off our bill! a REALLY??? Start having more staff, have better service, and the dozen people that left after being told that I would be a 45 minute wait for food once seated would stay and you’d make more money!!! And to top it all off, my husbands food came out cold on a steaming hot plate! How in the world does that happen!!! Someone needs to fire the manager and get someone in there with more sense!!!

Same experience as Harvy but one month later. Aweful service. Waited 45 minutes with no food, only coffee. Waitress never showed after taking order. Couple next table was waiting an hour with no food. I left without getting any food.

I try to give everyone benefit of the doubt. But on back to back visits to this particular IHOP the service was slow, they were out of certain items and management was absent at best. This particular day there was a 45 minute wait for food, not to be seated, but to actually get your food once seated. It was a Sunday but not very busy. They had no orange juice, no peaches, no bananas for toppings. They let my wife order pancakes with bananas knowing they didn’t have any. I know this because 10 minutes after ordering our food they brought the table beside us their food who had already been waiting an hour. The waitress told the table«sorry we are out of bananas, but it’s still good without them». Then she tried the same thing on my wife 45 minutes later when she brought out our food. I guess she thought we were deaf. The entire staff seems under trained and as I mentioned, several tables had issues and never once did any of us see a manager. I normally would not complain this much but this is twice in a row, so something needs to be done there.

We went there this morning and I saw 4 tables walk out because they were not being served. I saw people waiting at front to be seated and 2 groups walked out because no one would seat them. Our waitress said 2 people didn’t show up today and they were short. But they have been saying that for 3 years now. Our waitress also said she put in her 2 weeks notice today because she is always having to cover for the lack of staff. We got lucky, and had service, but I have never seen so many people walk out. Such a shame too, such a great location on the lake and beautiful view.
