Steaks are juicy and tender, the service is excellent and the prices are great! Hard to believe you can get a 16oz sirloin steak for $ 17!

Best place to get steak! All their food is amazing. I have been going here for 20+ years and have never been disappointed. Prices are great also.

My gift to anyone considering eating at this establishment: turn around. My husband exclaimed that Steer and Stein was the home of the best steak he’s ever had… Coors light was the only positive of our entire experience. Long wait to be seated and greeted, medium rare steaks came out completely brown and a sad excuse for side dishes. Holy moly, I would rather spend my $ 45 at the Little Caesars across the street.

Me & the boyfriend go to Steer N Stein all the time. But we haven’t been in awhile so we decided to go tonight. We were highly disappointed because everything was wrong. We always order the onion rings to start & they are so amazingly delicious but this time they tasted as if they weren’t cooked all the way. We changed up our orders this time around. I ordered the shrimp dinner with grilled shrimp & my bf ordered the bacon wrapped filet. We both got salads with our order & when my bf got his salad, it was smothered in «blue cheese». He said it tasted like sour cream but the server said it was blue cheese because he thought that’s what my bf asked for. No big deal, he got a new salad. Next our food came out after a really long time & again, I ordered the shrimp DINNER. Now when I think of a shrimp dinner I think of 10+ pieces of shrimp. I literally got 5 pieces of shrimp. (See pic). I couldn’t believe I was paying 14.99 for 5 pieces of shrimp! I’m still in shock. Yes they were good but for the price I’m paying I believe I deserved more than that. My bf, who ordered the bacon wrapped filet WELL DONE, received a half bacon wrapped filet pretty much RARE. It was all red on the inside. When he told the server he said «do you want me to bring out another hot plate & let it sit on that for a little bit?» Like wait. What!!! No homie we want you to cook that shit on the grill for longer helloooooo isn’t that how you cook a steak?! My bf said «uh no it’s fine I’ll try to eat it like this». & the server left. He was slow on our refills, some couple came in that all the servers were hugging & we lost all attention from our server. I’m highly disappointed because normally we love steer n stein but unfortunately not tonight.

Ordered the stockyard, was cooked perfectly. Had a huge fresh salad, loaded baked potato with delicious garlic bread and a beverage all for under $ 20.00! Can’t beat that, I would definitely recommend this place when you are in the area. They will be seeing me often.

Yummy! This place is great to go with my whole family. My husband orders steak, and my kids love the burgers. The onion ring stacks are also good but what is truly delicious is their strawberry lemonade!

I wasn’t too happy with the service here. Why? Well I ordered my meal that came with two sides. When my food got to me. I didn’t have my French fries. I let them know they were missing. I was then told they were being cooked. Well I NEVER got them. The best thing about here is the bread that comes with your meal. I know I could have asked about my fries again but no one ever came back around until we were ready to leave.

I’ve never been disappointed here, great steak, prime rib and excellent fish or shrimp. Great chilli and the absolute best strawberry lemonade anywhere.

Took my fiancé here for his first time. We both ordered the famous Stockyard. Service was awful, our waitress never returned to our table after our food was delivered. Our steaks were overcooked and lacked flavor. We were both very disappointed.

Lets remember Folks; Real Steak House’s are not around anymore, So many have disappeared! So, of course i hope Steer n Stein Will be here forever. The Steaks are to die for. Don’t forget those large mugs of Beer too!

Was very disappointed eating here today as the reviews seemed lt would be great. Not many for lunch when we walked in. That shouldve been a red flag. placed our drink orders and waited 10 minutes for coffee. Then ordered our meals. The salads presented not very well but tasted ok. My lunch compainon ordered the shrimp dinner with fries. 6 pieces of shrimp and a small amount of fries $ 14.99!!! Not tasty at all. I ordered the specialty steak with mashed potatoes. The steak was overcooked and the potatoes were too creamy.$ 13.99!!!
The service was slow and took long for drink refills. Conclusion… not going back again!

I ate at this location 25 years ago while visiting a friend in Moreno Valley and the food absolutely kicked ass. Big steaks and beer. What could be better?

Amazing food, service, & prices.
We showed up on a random Thursday night to a packed place with a party of 6, got immediate seating and were blown away! Between us we tried ribs, chicken, a couple steak cuts, and shrimp. All were amazing and great price value!
The owner came by to char, told us about his favorite beveridge, and brought a round for us to try. We visit this area once per year and we’re amazed and will be back for sure!!!

my family and I have been coming to this restaurant for 4 family generations, I am now coming here with my two babies. of course Unilocal did not exist when my family started coming here but I can say, obviously that is how amaze this restaurant is! everything we’ve ever had has kept us coming back. my dad and husband get the «Famous Super Stockyard» steak with a loaded backed potato. I had the chili and we, per usual get the sampler with extra onion rings! and I could literally drink their ranch ;P we’ll never stop coming here. perfect!

We did their take-​out on our way from San Diego to the Inland Empire. We called 20 minutes prior to our arrival and it was ready when we arrived. They were very thorough about checking everything in our bags to ensure nothing was forgotten. I recommend their stockyard steak. It was delicious (even for takeout; we didn’t eat it until 20 minutes after we picked it up). The strawberry lemonade was also a delicious treat – tart and fresh! Overall, a delicious meal with thorough service.

I have mixed feelings about our visit here. We came as a large family. They did great with the 20+ with us. The service was so so, but understandable with the size of our party. So, really no complaints there. What I didn’t like about this restaurant was the food. It just was not good. We had the salmon and the country fried steak. The salmon was just okay, nothing special. The country fried steak is much better at Village Inn… So it was great that they worked with our group and were so accommodating, but I would not return for the food.

I don’t care if anyone thinks this place is not that good. I love this place. Steer n Stein has always been my family’s restaurant. Their salads are always dripping with the right amount of dressing. Their steaks are cooked exactly the way you like it. «MEDIUM» for this guy right here and i don’t know what they do with the vegetables but if you have kids that don’t like them take them here.

The place has changed since the last time I was here. Menu is smaller and streamlined the food was ok not as good as before the chicken noodle soup was barely warm almost room temp and very salty! I ordered the pepper steak which was good not great but good a Little greasy with the vegetables but if I came back I would order again it seemed like they changed how they prepare the foods I tried a bite of my nephews steak and it was better should of ordered that but it was a 1 lb steak would of been too much

I finally tried this Moreno Valley classic cowboy steak house and I’m right glad I did buckaroo! I recon this here establishment is older than me as their furnishin’s are a tad rode hard chaw’d up. But I came for the ‘steakin’, not the sittin’!
I had me ther prize winnin’ top sellin’ 12oz Stokyard with all the trimmin’s. They also filled me chock full of ther sugared ‘n sassy Strawberry Lemonade. They rustled us up a fair ‘n fine hamburger with a nice size salad to boot!
The meat was tender ‘n juicy and vittles were good as cream gravy. Ther homemade ranch dressin’ is truly a wonder to behold, and very very ranchy! Garlic toast is both crunchy and buttery soft, and the potato comes with all the fixin’s. But the real 8^th wonder of the world is their handmade Strawberry Lemonade concoction – it’s got real sweet summer strawberries you can suck up in a straw! Yup, a real pleasin’ punch.
Well, I best be hittin’ the trail and gittin’ on. But I’ll drive this wagon back soon for more of ther tastey square grub! I just wish they’d soap up, sand down, and lacquer them ther tables ‘n such – sticky as a bur ‘n wool!
