Via Mia Pizza Delivery

Just received a solicitation call from Via Mia (Morgan Hill) advertising their business on my cell phone. I called the company to inquire as to why this call is being made to my personal number. I have never received an advertising phone call on my cell phone from a restaurant. Spoke to the manager, Sam, who was reluctant to give me his name and flat out refused to give me his last name, as to why I received the call. My concern is that I find it unusual to receive solicitation calls from pizza companies/​restaurants when I have given my phone number for pizza delivery. I was informed by the manager, Sam, that they are contracted with an advertising company that is using customers phone numbers to make calls and sell Via Mia advertisements.
I was informed that when you call Via Mia and provide your phone number to order pizza that you are consenting to your phone number being used by a third party advertising company. I did not provide permission to Via Mia to sell my phone number, to add me to their call list or grant permission to make sales calls.
The manager was very rude, did not listen to my concerns and stated several times the this is not a big deal. Furthermore, he wanted me to again provide my number to be removed from their phone list. In addition, the manager did not provide the name of the owner of the store and was unwilling to answer any of my further questions.
Terrible business practices and poor customer services.

Mmm. Great pizza! This was the first place I’ve been to that also gave hot sauce and it was such a great combination.
The service was great and they quickly got us the pizza. I will definitely be ordering again soon!

Love Via Mia! Pizza always made to order (special requests no problem!) and hot and ready when it’s picked up. The staff is always friendly when I order for pickup or delivery. Pizza tastes great, chicken wings are awesome! My favorite pizza in Morgan Hill, hands down. Best deal on 24 wings to for a party or family game.

This review is for ordering two 2-​topping medium pizzas for $ 8.99 each. I ordered over the phone and asked what toppings were available. The worker listed all of the toppings to me and I ordered my pizzas. When I got there, they charged an extra $ 3.00 for one of the pizzas because apparently chicken is a «gourmet» topping. Seriously? $ 3.00 extra when two toppings are supposed to be given?
On top of the ridiculous charge, the pizza was stale and not tasty. One star review from me.

I’ve purchased pizza here in the past, and have been disappointed. After a year and a very exhausting day I figured it was a time to give via Mia another chance.
On the initial phone call the service was a little better than I remember. The young women on the other line wanted to get off the phone with me as quickly as possible, but she did ask questions to make sure my order was correct this time.
I ordered a «deal», which was a large specialty pizza and a large one topping pizza for twenty nine dollars, not too bad.
The pizza arrived on time as promised, and the driver let me inspect the pizzas before accepting them which was quite kind (as there have been severe quality issues in the past).
The pizzas came as ordered, toppings looked good and plentiful, pizza was steaming hot, flavor was on par with little Caesars. Crust was not quite cooked all the way though it was pretty doughy.
With the criticism above why three stars? The quality of the food and service has increased dramatically since my last purchase a year ago. The food is just meh, value is meh-​ish. If you want good pizza there are many better options in Morgan hill, if you know what your getting, and can live with the things that come with it. This place can fill the roll!

My family has a been a customer of via Mia for a long time but we will NEVER use them again. Have never been so offended by a company before all because they were too incompetent to take an order correctly. We ordered 2 pizzas at 5:30 for delivery. Hour later still no pizza, they had us down for pickup. I say, «well since the pizzas are cold now I’ll just cancel this order.» I place a new order with round table, VIA MIA CALLS ME BACK & ask if they can still please deliver the pizzas because they’re still fresh, I give in & say Ok, sure if they get here quickly. Another hour & 3 hungry kids later, & we are still waiting for our. pizzas. I call back again to find out what has happened and they rudely inform me that my order has been cancelled. Clearly they were pranking us by calling back & offering to still deliver our pizzas, after we had already placed a new order with round table & had to cancel that after they claimed they’d still deliver them. I eventually asked to speak to a manager to have him explain to me why they basically fooled with us by calling back, offering to deliver & turn around & just cancel the order entirely & we were told «our business wasn’t welcome there because we cancelled 2 orders on them!» We did NOTHING wrong! They cancelled my orders on me!!! they were completely in the wrong & now they’re denying us service as if we’re criminals! I’ve never experienced such POOR customer services before. I have a LOT of family in this town who used to use Via Mia & they have all agreed to stop patronizing this rude, ungrateful establishment. Apparently the customer is not always right in their eyes. My Pizza & Round Table are 100 times better anyway.

I love this pizza but they usually they don’t take orders right… my son order a personal pizza last nigh and instead they gave hem a medium and said they can’t not do nothing about it because they close at 10 and still charge hem for a medium… I have issues like these before !!

I ordered a pizza and brushetta for delivery and i was surprised it was only a 30 minute estimate. The guy who took my order wasn’t very professional and seemed to lack customer service skills. ALSO they delivered to the wrong place. I live next to the rockery and had one of their employees call me so I had to walk over there for my order. That was weird.
The two stars are for the crust, which I thought was pretty good. It’s not really worth the price so I think i’ll skip it next time.

The pizzas arrived before the due time, even though it was a Friday evening. The delivery person was pleasant I spite of the onslaught of dog and kids. The pizzas were very tasteful and looked great. I particularly liked the Margarita Pizza. What I didn’t like was the delivery of the wrong beverage. Nothing could be done to correct that!

We have ordered from here several times. The thick crust is so yummy! They are prompt, polite and deliver hot pizza.

Love their pizza!!! Buffalo chicken is my favorite!!! We always get delivery and our pizza comes fast and hot and we love their hot sauce packets!!!

1^st time having this pizza. 45 minute delivery — normal. The sausage pizza was hot, so were teriyaki wings and salad cold :)
Good tasting pizza and the wings were pretty good, just needed to be a tad bit crispier, says the bf. Now the salad. Yes it did look like the picture but the disappointment for me was the iceberg lettuce :(no likey. I ate it but knowing that would probably not order it or ask if spinach was a possibility.
*message to business — use mix greens please :) I know iceberg is cheap but it offers no nutritional value.

Had to leave this place, not cool. Went in to try this place a friend recommended it. Got there ordered pizza sticks (pepperoni) asked if they could add pesto, oh my they could not. Really! Would have paid more but, they could not make it, wow. But they could sell you a side of pesto for a dollar I would have paid 3 for them to put on the sticks so I could have it warm. Anyway had to leave so I did not try the food. Maybe on day I’ll try again.

Via Mia isn’t the best pizza in town, but is a great alternative if you don’t want to spend an arm and a leg on «Gourmet» Pizza.
I have used Via Mia Pizza over the years quit a bit and they have always came threw. No matter the size, or request they do their best to make sure I’m happy. I have never had a bad pizza from them. They always arrive fast for Delivery, and the Pizza is still nice and hot.
Overall I really like Via Mia. Oh and their Hot Wings are delicious too. If your a Hot Wings lover like myself you should give them a try.

Had to give this place a try after our new neighbors recommended it. We going a coupon online for a large regular one topping and a large specialty for $ 29.99. We ordered half cheese/​pepperoni, and the via toscani (some delicious concoction of pesto sauce, Sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms, mozzarella, and garlic).
The cheese was good, pepperoni was okay but a bit spicy, and the via toscani was great. It’s a bit pricey but good, so maybe a once in awhile thing! Plus it’s close and they deliver (but we picked it up this time).

Pizza is ok, just spoke with the most unprofessional person to order a pizza ever.
Simple phone skills go a long way… But…
After this review … I get a phone call from a nice man 15 minutes later letting me know my next pizza is on the house. Pretty cool.
So I changed my star rating. High five phone call guy !
I’ve never thought reviews mattered so much and hate giving negative ones (and certainly don’t want anyone to get in trouble) but c’mon we all need to realize we have a damn job to do .

I’m new to California and didn’t realize this was a chain restaurant.
Using Unilocal,I found the Santa Clara location on Saratoga and decided to place an order online– the website
takes you to a generic site that does not list a location or allow you to select one until the very end of the ordering process during which you find out that your order has been placed in Morgan Hill, not in Santa Clara.
Noticing my problem immediately, I called the store and spoke to an employee about my issue, asking if I could transfer it to the proper location. She said she could refund the order but did not address my question of how to replace my order, simply saying I could speak to her boss if I wanted to.
So I did. And he said the exact same thing: my order could be refunded tomorrow, sorry for the delay in processing the refund. When I again mentioned my issue placing the order with the correct location, he began to get argumentative and said the two locations just had the same name but had nothing else in common, as they were franchised, and he had no contact information for them and could not do anything for me.
Poor CS. How difficult is it to have a list of phone numbers for other locations, or to have a website that specifies location rather than simply listing the company name– surely I’m not the first person with this issue. Frankly, the fact that I was immediately told about refund practices seems to indicate that it does happen frequently.
Sadly, when I did manage to contact the correct location myself, they were equally unhelpful. I won’t be frequenting this chain or recommending it at all.
