Very tasty. Had to sit at common table. Nice facility. Clean bathrooms. Good service. Nice area downtown.

After a morning on the McCloud(and a quick look at fellow Unilocalers reviews) we settled on Bistro No. 107. Four and a a half stars? The place looked promising. After my party of three was served two very uninspired burgers with fries and a Caesar salad — I must disagree. Two and a half stars. Tops. Once he arrived at our table(after a 15 minute wait) our laconic waiter appeared more concerned with his beard than our order. Deviations from the norm(e.g. A medium rare patty) weren’t indulged. ½ teaspoon lump of chopped garlic and parsley resulted in a .50 up charge for a pile of flaccid fries. Condiments? A well worn bottle with an aged residue of Hunt’s Ketchup and a half empty bottle of French Mustard… I’d love to report that«Harry/Hairy» our waiter offered to ‘make things right.‘ Unfortunately, we didn’t see him until he presented our bill.

Very good for lunch. We had the coconut shrimp, calamari, pulled pork sandwich, soft shell crab blt, and the Cajun burger. The calamari was great — not too rubbery and full of flavor. The soft shell crab BLT was just okay. It was a little bland to me — I probably wouldn’t get it again. The pulled pork sandwich and burger were both very flavorful and delicious.

I’m very very very glad we stopped here! Originally from Humboldt California I was excited to go to mount Shasta with my mom we drove up from Sacramento and didn’t know where to go to eat and I’m glad we chose this place, the people were so nice and sweet and honestly the French fries were the best I have ever had and the coconut shrimp is DEFINITELY the best I’ve had(I would have taken a picture but I ate them all too fast) If I could give this place 100 stars I definitely would!

I have only eaten here once but was thrilled to see Oyster Po’boys on the menu. Oysters are a rarity around here. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and they had a small but superb number of beers on tap.(With all the great local breweries between Redding and Medford, OR, there’s no excuse for a restaurant not to serve some of the local ale.) Everything we ate was delicious and prepared and served with care to details. It was a very satisfying meal. Looking forward to when the deck opens for warm weather. It will be a wonderful place to lounge, watch people, and enjoy a good meal. They take cash, Mastercard, and Visa here.

Great food, great service. The veggie burgers are made in-house and taste amazing! Desserts are also above par. Not the typical«Shasta vibe». Will definitely come back soon.

My husband and I went to Bistro No. 107 for lunch on a Saturday. The service was professional and we were seated quickly. Our waiter came back to check on us at very well-timed intervals(not too often as to be a nuisance, and not too infrequently as to be ignoring us). Water glasses were kept filled, food was served in a timely fashion and hot, and the check was brought at the proper moment. Specials were recited in a way that we could follow, but was not laborious. The atmosphere is high class casual with black cloth napkins and casual, simple plating. We sat outside on the deck to enjoy the view. The food was very well-prepared and very tasty. My husband ordered one of the specials — hot pastrami au jus and the au jus was clearly homemade and very much enhanced the sandwich. The sandwich itself was solid with grilled bread and beautifully grilled onions and melted cheese. The fries were perfect — crispy and not too greasy. I ordered the soft shell crab BLT and it was tempura battered so it was lightly crispy without being oily. The sandwich is a little unwieldy to eat, but the crab fit the bun and the lettuce was positioned to allow a naturally flap to catch any juices that ran out from the tomato. The side salad was nicely mixed in content and my request to have dressing on the side accommodated. The food here is clearly fresh and carefully prepared from good quality ingredients. My husband and I definitely plan to return to try other dishes. I hope they can maintain their quality as they grow in popularity(which they are certain to do if the chef stays the same and keeps up the expert preparation).

Landed here to unwind after a great day at McCloud lake. Great food and friendly service. If you like pulled pork sandwiches, I suggest trying first! We will be back to try more of the menu.

We stopped for a quick lunch on our way through Mount Shasta. Thanks to Unilocal!for recommendations! This little place served super fresh salad, a great Turkey Panini, and skinny fries that were cooked just right. It also looked like they had a nice craft beer selection and the desserts that landed on other guest’s tables looked delicious. A really nice spot in a cute town along the 5.

I’ve been to the Bistro about five or six times now, and every time the food and service have been consistently good. Although the space is somewhat cramped – the ambiance is nice and they do a good job of getting you seated as quickly as possible. Yesterday my boyfriend and I were told it would be a thirty minute wait to be seated and in five minutes we already got a call back saying they had a spot for us. The staff is really nice and helpful, food is very tasty. Will be coming back soon, one of the best places in town to eat.

Burger blew my mind, long day on the mt snowboarding and their Cabernet burger is a combination excellent house made wine sauce coupled with goat cheese, grilled onion, bacon and fresh arugula that danced in my mouth. Thus making this a must have after boarding in mt. Shasta. Not to mention the customer service was a grand slam! I’ll be back

This review is for the corned beef Reuben. I still can’t believe how they get it so tender. I ate half at the restaurant for dinner and the other half for breakfast. Not so good for breakfast, not recommended for leftovers. Bread got hard and stale but it was definitely a game changer for my standards of corned beef the night before. Very very good. I might add it could use a lil more flaver but was still was amazing. I will be back for it the next time I’m in Shasta.

This place had been recommended by a local couple and we tried to go one nigh but unfortunately the wait was too long for us. We returned on New Years Eve for a nice dinner for two. I must say it was such a wonderful time all together. We started with beer and wine. They had a Blackberry Blond made by Etna on tap that was out of this world. We have since been looking all over for it! It was a rather quiet night which was great for us. We talked with the owner and the bartender almost the whole time we were there. It was amazing. What wonderful people. The whole reason we were in the area was our truck broke down so we were stranded and this was an amazing way to lift our spirits. The food was also exceptional. We ordered the Cabernet chicken burger with sweet potato fries and the Turkey Panini with balsamic salad. I cant describe how good they were. Although it is an American eats place it was like an «upscale» burger. Best about it was the price was great for how awesome the food tasted. I just wish it was closer to home for me! If I am in the area there is absolutely no doubt I will go out of my way to stop here.

We stopped by on a whim as we went through Mt. Shasta. This is a great addition to the restaurant options in Shasta. The soup was fresh and delicious, the salad had a really good dressing. My dining partners really enjoyed the burger and the panini. Everything was well done, fresh, and delicious. I will definitely be back!

The best way to say it as a local and having heard of the owner’s background … I was«disappointed». My companion had the soft shell crab, which he said was good, although he thought it had little on-site preparation(out of a bag). The selection of tap beers is also good. And I think anyone ordering a burger would have been fine with the taste. The service was also good. I had the fish & chips but, to be blunt, I have had a tastier fish sandwich and fries from McDonald’s. It was all right out of a freezer bag with no added flavoring and the texture was terrible … no meat to the fish. With their prices, the Bistro is going to have to do better to get me back for anything more than a beer on tap while sitting on the deck. Cooper’s at the hotel has much better value for a beer, burger and fries(and flavor!) and for the same price. Both Cooper’s and the Wayside Grill have significantly better fish & chips for a comparable price that do not taste like they came out of a freezer bag.

Wow, this place was off the hook– very impressed. Very interesting menu and really good beer choices(Crater Lake Amber Ale). My wife had the Cabernet burger and I had Billy’s BBQ burger. Both were fabulous. Who would have thought that lil old mt Shasta city would have such crazy good food! The staff was great and was very kind to my 1yr old who trashed their floor w sweet potato– bonus points My only qualm was how tiny the space was, had to wait a bit to be seated and felt cramped. But they looked to be adding more space soon!
