This is one of the best fine dining experiences in Myrtle Beach. The ocean view is great but the food and service are even better. Helaina was our server. She was completely knowledgeable about wine list and all menu items. She made great recommendations that were right on the mark. Every course was well prepared, served hot and effeciently served. Overall a very special dining experience

We ate our Thanksgiving dinner here and they offered a great selection of entrees and carving stations: the traditional turkey and steamship round, seafood, smoked salmon, salad, cheese, then various entrees like pork belly, encrusted mahi, braised ribs, and pork loin. The desserts were plentiful and we left stuffed beyond words.

Dined late on Thursday September 8th. Hostess was wonderful, was with disabled parent and she made sure walk slower and chatted with us as we made our way to the table. Most just speed ahead and flop the menus on the table. Mom wanted to sit near the window and hostess quickly cleaned off table so she could have her window view. Server was great as well, very friendly and overall a decent meal(had the daily special shrimp scampi). Another example of great service was by a younger African American man who got my mom a to go cup for her tea when we were leaving. From the second we walked in the door to walking out we were given multiple examples of excellent guest service.

It is our 25th wedding anniversary and café Amalfi had a special table prepared for us with a great view of the ocean! The food was amazing! My husband had the filet and I had the seafood risotto, both were excellent. George was our server and he assisted with our selections. He was never wrong! And last was desert, the strawberry shortcake was heaven!

Staff was friendly, valet was free with a tip; that’s about all I can say about this place that is flattering. The filet was ordered medium rare. The filet I got it was well done. The asparagus I got was almost rock solid, same with the miniature potatoes. The lobster bisque was alright, however with the price of this meal I was left hoping for more.

Expected a lot more out of a Hilton restaurant. Buffet items were constantly empty and stayed that way for way too long. Scrambled eggs were disgusting. Staff was way too overwhelmed for a breakfast shift. We also waited 30 minutes to sit.

This is a wonderful restaurant. The chef prepares each meal with expertise, a pleasure both for the eyes and the appetite. I have eaten steak and scallops. Both were excellent. The ambience is a lovely ocean view. The wait staff is excellent. My fave waiter is George. I think this is the best restaurant in Myrtle Beach.

Great gluten free options and Gluten Free bread?! Yes please! They understood my allergy well Nd brought two bread dipping dishes which was excellent! Great views of the ocean, and a relaxed setting make for a great evening out. Just tell the guard you’re having dinner at Amalfi and they’ll let you through.

This place was supposedly in a nice hotel, the Hilton. I waited for 10 minutes to be seated with literally 2 other tables seated. I’m shocked they got all the stars they have through Unilocal. My Caesar salad was 10% better at the Pancake House earlier this morning!!! I’ve never salted a meal more in more in more entire life(chicken pasta). The waiter was very kind, and attentive, but this place was the worst.

Excellent breakfast buffet! $ 15 buys you a hot breakfast bar with omelettes, french toast and pancakes made to order, in addition to fruit, cereals, yogurt, bagels and unlimited drinks. If you’re a Hilton member you can stop by the desk downstairs and pick up a card that will get you 15% off. Robyn was an excellent server with a bright and sunny personality!

I love this restaurant. The waiter George makes the experience like one is dining at the Ritz-Carlton…he is super classy and makes us always feel like royalty… super sweet… They have done many upgrades… the beautiful paint complements the Ocean right outside the window… they have done wonderful improvements on the lighting and the wooden floors give it a very sophisticated feel… I always order the steak and it is always cooked to perfection. with a twice baked potato and asparagus… the wine that George suggests is always very fresh, and delicious… He even succumbs to my strange requests… for alot of ice, for example… I really love it here. it is becoming my favorite restaurant in Myrtle Beach. there are really few Oceanfront restaurants… and they have valet parking…

Two days in a row ordering martinis, there were no olives at the bar, and gnats in the vodka. When ordering very dry martinis the bartenders would put 3 ounces of vermouth in. I questioned the bartender on the second day, and he replied with«extra dry means extra vermouth». How can you be a bartender & not know the basics of martinis?

The food isn’t stellar, but the view… We only had breakfast there. They have a decent breakfast buffet. The potatoes are sort of gray, but everything else seemed pretty good. I enjoyed the sautéed zucchini mix every morning, as well as fresh fruit and yogurt. They also will make you omelettes and waffles to order. I really appreciated that they did excellent egg white omelettes. The servers were also very attentive and quick. The 5 stars is really for the service and view. I can’t really review on their menu items, as I only had breakfast, but if you are staying at the Hilton, you can lose having breakfast here.

Great place to eat with a view. Food was excellent and service also. They were in Open table as a 1000 point table and I took advantage of that also.

It’s 2014 and if you looking for the taste of yesterday(ie. Dehydrated eggs) look no further. You can order eggs from the kitchen(from chickens) but they still use the old standby on the breakfast buffet. At least I was able to make up the lost calories from the dehydrated eggs by the protein on my coffee cup… yes…chunks. You may ask how my experience is so different than the others here. Two reasons…1) I was here for breakfast and can not speak to other meals and 2) the other 2 reviewers are prob from Des Moines or are missing their tongues! This is not up to Hilton standards… Myrtle Beach standards possibly… but not Hilton standards.

My daughter and I recently ate at Café Amalfi. The food was amazingly fresh and delicious. And the service was superb! Our waiter, George, was quite possibly the most attentive server I have ever had. He brought my daughter fresh fruit upon request. I will definitely return to this restaurant!

Went for our anniversary. They had a special table set for us. Unbelievable ocean views! The food was awesome. My wife had a scallop dish that was very fresh and perfectly cooked. I had a shrimp scampi special which was outstanding. Great service, very friendly.

While in Myrtle Beach SC for our 5 year anniversary vacation I decided to try Café Amalfi after finding a gift certificate and I thought this would be a nice place for our anniversary dinner. I was right! Both my boyfriend and I loved this place. When he made the reservation he got to pick out our table overlooking the ocean and they even said they would do something special for us. When we arrived we saw that they had put a beautiful blue table cloth on our table(none of the others had any) and had added a big hurricane glass with a candle and a few little starfish to decorate the table. It was so pretty. Our server George was the nicest and he really took great care of us. I ordered the crispy duck which was excellent. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp pot which he said was good but lacked flavor. We also had the crab bisque and lobster mac and cheese. Both were to die for. Both the service and food were excellent and I can’t complain about anything! If you are looking for a fine dinning restaurant you really should try this place. I don’t think you will be disappointed. If we ever get back to Myrtle Beach again we will be sure to stop in here and have another fabulous meal.

Found this restaurant at the Hilton Hotel at Kingston Plantation, and glad we did. It was a slow night in the restaurant, but the food was great. The restaurant overlooks the ocean, and provides a nice backdrop during dinner. The Blackened Mahi Mahi with a Corn Maque Choux, and topped with a fennel onion salad was delicious. Service was attentive but, not intrusive. I usually shy away from hotel restaurants, but am glad we found this one. Good, by the glass, wine list.
