I came down to Myrtle from a Boston suburb with a huge Brazilian population and dozens of steak houses within a 10 minute drive. This is by far the best in the south. The salad bar is a little small but everything on it is very good. The meats were served by the owner who is a really nice guy, everything was extremely tasty and the service is stellar.

We were a party of 8 New Years Eve. After deciding to go to a different reasturant than last year we looked this place up on the web. we saw a $ 30 dinner and decided to try it. Well after we all were seated they started serving the food. after being to many other Brazillin steakhouses we new what to expect. this wasn’t it. All the food was over cooked and over baconized. He made one pass with everything and that was it. Then they came with a desert. Wait a min I would like some more meat. He brought out «jumbo» shrimp which they weren’t. They were acidic and bitter. best part was when the bill came. They charged us $ 49.99 each. they told us that was the special. Yjere were no signs about it. We were expecting $ 30 each. But they exclaim. you get the desert and a bottle of wine too. Well none of us drank. also we were charged for refills on coffee. We won. t be going back. Rios and Gouchos has no worry. This place wont be around long.

I have never experienced this kind of dining before. It was an incredible experience for us. The meat was cooked perfect. The owner served us and you could tell he genuinely cared about his customers and what they thought. I plan to come back here every time I come down to the beach. This is a great place to try if on vacation at the beach.

I’ve been to several Brazilian steakhouses. Like any good Brazilian steakhouse the salad bar here had a good selection. They also have fried banana as an appetize that was fantastic. At the end of the meal they bring you pineapple cooked in brown sugar which was delicious. Service was excellent and the owner even came out to serve us some food. Very friendly fellow.
But onto the most important, the meat. The bacon wrapped meats were particularly good and had a good balance of flavor and saltiness. In my experience bacon wrapped meats tend to come out far too salty which made theirs particularly noteworthy. The other meats were tasty but there wasn’t anything spectacular about them.
What brings everything home is the price. Most of the Brazilian steakhouses are around $ 50, but Calor do Brazil is only $ 24. For what they have you can’t beat the value which is why it deserves 5 stars.

This could never take the place of Fogo de Chao for us. The salad bar was tiny. The hot portion of it was watery instant potatoes and gravy and rice and beans. The shrimp was of the precooked and defrosted nature.
The owner apologized for the slow service due to being short staffed, and gave us a break on the price. We had reservations and were seated after a very large party was seated right before us. We waited a VERY long time for the meat to come out and did not get all (never saw any chicken or bacon wrapped anything).
One waitress was very seasoned but took care of the big party mostly. The other waitress was very nervous and may have been just filling in for someone.
I would not recommend this to someone looking for a less expensive Brazilian steakhouse option. It just didn’t cut it.

This is one of the best experiences I have had at a restaurant in a while. The food, service, and environment were all outstanding. Really though, the food was amazing. All you can eat of some of the best cooked meat you’ll ever have for half the price of other steakhouses is unbeatable. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to a friend

Calor do Brazil is the best of its kind.
After a few years of dining at Rioz, we decided to give Calor do Brazil a try. We would never choose another place for Brazilian dining. The service was personal and amazing. The owner himself was delivering our meats cooked just for us and our waitress was very attentive. On top of all of that, the food was delicious and for a spectacular value, truly half of what you’d pay for worse food and service. Would go back in a heartbeat.
Top tip: the bacon-​wrapped steak, the garlic steak, and the sirloin were top pics with my wife and I.

This place is outstanding! My family and I came down to myrtle beach from New York on vacation and we had seen some pretty interesting Brazilian grills up north. However the last one we went to we ended up spending 50+ dollars per person and that was ridiculous! So I Unilocaled Brazilian and Calor was the first to pop up. Very inexpensive, we paid only $ 20 per person which is a major difference yet the food was still great. We were floored about how simple and cute the restaurant was and amazed of how delicious the food came out to be. The meats they bring out are sizzling hot and spiced to perfection and the service you get is impeccable. This place was new when we went, only 2 – 3 months the waitress said, but Calor deserves to have many years ahead. The owner is a charismatic Sicilian man who treats everyone like his good friends. I so recommend this place for all people, we dined next to a family with small children and a elderly couple so Calor has something for everyone. I cannot stress to you how amazing the food was so go to this wonderful place! You will not regret it!

Best top sirloin steaks in town. A REAL local neighborhood gem located in the Carolina Forest area. Owner is fantastic and feeds you very well. The staff is hard working. Clean, quiet dining, great prices, super friendly atmosphere, and a killer grilled pineapple for dessert. Can’t ask for more.
