Three stars that could’ve been 4 if the lady who took my order didn’t act like it was inconvenient for me to have a meal with them. Jerk!

I can’t remember the last time I ate at a D’Angelos, let alone this location. It has been yearsss. When I pulled up, it was nice to see that the inside had been renovated to be a little more hip with the times. All flat screen menus and they still have my go-to No. 9 with steak, YUM!

I love their chicken stir-fry with teriyaki or barbecue sauce. I get it with soda and chips. Also, the steak bomb that has salami and you can ask for bacon. What I like about this D’angelos is the location and the quick service. This is a busy Newton Highlands/Needham business neighborhood with people needing a nice lunch or dinner break for 1 hour and be happy. You’ll be happy because everything is made perfect the way you like it, and is FAST for a sub shop. If you’re not sure about Dangelos go to this Newton/Needham location and you’ll be coming back many times. I have yummmmmmmm.

The sandwich was good, though small and a bit overpriced. My coworker got the surf and turf, which was way overpriced. Disinterested staff.

I love this place. Service is quick, and I always have a terrific meal, hits the spot just right for lunch! I get a turkey sub or a roast beef sub usually. The quality of the meat is exceptional. Portion size is extremely generous, unlike subway where everything is pre-proportioned .thanks !!

If you’ve never been and you’re trying to look for it, don’t expect a huge sign to come up your face while driving down Highland Ave! Trust me, I totally missed it. When I turned around, I was crawling 5mph trying to figure out where da heck D’Angelo would be! It ends up to be this stand alone building where the sign on the front just blends in with the color of the building. Hell ya, I almost missed it along the way back! I saw it as I was parallel and quickly turned into the lot and hoping that noone behind me will give me the extra push. The folks in there are friendly but gave me a face when I ordered a kidz meal. Can’t a full grown adult have a kidz meal? I mean, if America had meals that are in proper portions for a nutritional diet, I wouldn’t look like an idiot when I order or don’t finish my food. OK, I really just order kidz meal everywhere just for the toys. You got me!
