I don’t usually eat at fast food type places. I like full service or at least fast casual restaurants. But we wanted a quick Sub and we hadn’t been to a Subway in a while so we tried Subway on Easton Avenue. Boy were we pleasantly surprised. The Sub bread was soft and fresh baked and all the veggies looked fresh. We had Tuna, toasted with cheese and lots of veggies. The Tuna was delicious and the veggies toppings were fresh and there were lots to choose from. We also had the Chocolate Chipe Cookies which were wonderful as well. All at a really fair price. The restaurant staff is very friendly. The Manager checked to see if we were happy. A Nice touch in a fast food type restaurant. Also, the restaurant was really clean. So if you’re in a hurry and need a quick inexpensive lunch, I suggest this Subway. They won’t disappoint.

Anyone that says subway is awesome needs help. Meats are slimy and packed with sodium, the«fresh» baked bread is a joke and the entire sandwich is pretty much bread. This place is better than the student center subway but that’s not saying anything at all. If you want a great sub in NB, go to Jersey Subs on George st.

Subway is one of the places I go to when I want to feel like I am eating healthy. I usually get the whole wheat bread sub with philly cheesteak meat and extra southwest chipotle sauce. I throw american cheese in it with red onions as well as lettuce and call it a day. I also make sure it is toasted! Every now and then I would get whole wheat bread sub with meatballs to go. This place is very friendly and the staff are great! Well organized, clean, and the ingredients doesnt sit there for too long because food are always going here. fresh ingredients at all times.

This Subway is awesome. I enjoy going there just because the people working there are very friendly. The sandwich is neatly made with quality. Most other Subways(most recently, I’ve gone to the one in the Rutgers Student Center and in Princeton), some guy that hates his job is throwing the ingredients into the bread and in the end, I suffer because everything falls out while I’m trying to eat it. It’s the people that make this Subway good, not just the food.

There are 3 Subway restaurants in New Brunswick. This Easton Ave. one is world’s apart from the other two. I have gone to this one for 4 years, almost every other day. Management has changed just once in these 4 years, and both managers have been great. At this store they have many special offers and promotions, that you won’t find elsewhere. One might think that the quality of the ingredients and the bread is the same, across all Subway franchises. That is simply not the case. For example, the Subway at the Rutgers Student Center does not manage their inventory very efficiently, so the vegetables, meat and breads are never really fresh(soggy tomatoes and lettuce… echh). However, the Easton Ave. one prides itself on offering fresh ingredients, every day. The manager here is also keen on offering the latest Subway promotions, whenever he can; so the menu is never static. The cookies here are always baked just right, so they aren’t too hard, or too undercooked. While the nearby Subway’s employ almost anyone that can stand behind a counter for a few hours, this particular branch has always hired friendly staff, who know what they’re doing. What makes this Subway even more attractive, is that it’s open late; which is perfect for college students. The interior is kept very clean, and it’s a great environment to eat with friends. This Subway also offers free WI-FI, and the option of ordering your food online(either for pick up, or delivery). I wouldn’t normally review individual fast food joints, unless they were either exceptionally bad, or just incredibly good. This Subway was a staple part of my diet in New Brunswick, and for good reasons.
