Whalley Pizza

So another great pizza spot in new haven! The crust is a little thicker than the typical new haven brick-​oven style that I love, but this is still a solid pizza with great flavor. When I visit here, it’s usually for the pizza, but this time I was gonna try something different on the recommendation of a friend. Luckily I found out that they sell slices, so I was still able to enjoy a piece of my usual favorite item. The let down came from the grilled chicken salad. The chicken itself was extremely dry and the proportion of the salad was off. Felt like I was eating a plate of dry chicken sitting on a bed of lettuce. I love my veggies. They must have forgotten it was supposed to be a salad. The saving grace was the house vinaigrette, it was amazing!!! But Next time I’ll just stick with the pizza…

This is one of the worst places I’ve ever had it was so greasy I could barely eat it I would never go here again.

Solid Pizza for the elm, Fresh taste, made from scratch. Very popular spot accessible for everywhere in town. Great spot for take out, bring back to the casa and pop in the movie. The service was cool, no complaints about it.

This is the quintessential place for awesome New Haven pizza. this reminds me so much of living in New Haven its comfort food for my soul. I love this place.

Love love love the pizza. I always appreciate the new haven/​New York style pizza. But it’s nice to have a thick crust and plenty of cheese.

The service is what it is… just don’t expected to get treated like the only customer, they’re busy on weekends and after lunch.
The food is decent and better than Domino’s. There’s seating but people rarely eat in. I just stick with a plain pizza and keep it going.

Food is mediocre. staff is rude and nasty. go elsewhere.
