Closed? I cannot believe it. Had a wonderful brunch there last Fall… food was fantastic and the décor left nothing to be desired. So comfortable and relaxing, and like no other. This is very sad news. Had hoped to get back for High Tea with my tea friends.

Such a cute place! Really country chic. The breakfast was so. damn. delicious. I haven’t had a breakfast that special in a long time. The coffee was fresh, the choices were not run of the mill, and they were prepared exquisitely. I had a pastry filled with eggs, ham, and cheese, then sauced in what seemed like a hollandaise. What made it really terrific was that it seemed they poached the eggs, then put them in the pastry to bake, so the pastry was full of not quite hard boiled eggs. Such a refreshing alternative to scrambled! Yes the atmosphere was great, and the breakfast was amazing, but I am not giving it 5 stars because we brought a chicken pot pie home for dinner(a rather pricey pot pie), and it was pretty terrible. No flavor at all. Skip the frozen pot pie.

I live right down the block and have yet to review this place just out of forgetfulness. Initially I was skeptical because it has been under a few different managements, however, I am pleased to say that the Blue Willow is great. My family and I ordered food about a month ago and had a couple of questions about the menu. Since we’re so close we just drove up and decided to check it out. All of our questions were answered and we were given a copy of the menu to bring home. We ended up getting a couple of steaks and they were truly delicious. What I also liked about this shop is the little oddities they have within. I saw so many interesting things that I could have gotten my family for Christmas, like they had a tiny book that had over 50 ways to make chocolate milk — it was hilarious and awesome all in one. I live extremely close so I’ll definitely be coming again but I think that even if you live out of town that this would be a nice place to come to once in a while.

Great breakfast — big fluffy omelets — great coffee — and a really cool little country store to boot!

I absolutely love this little eatery! Fresh, good selection and adorable! I’ve been here about 15 times(lunch & dinner) since finding it about 9 months ago and am always satisfied with the quality of food and the pleasant staff. The décor is rustic chic and perfect for a bridal or baby shower. Don’t judge the type of food by the décor. My husband was also very happy with the selection of food– being a «meat & potatoes» guy. The restaurant is very clean– so are the bathrooms. Service can be a bit slow so plan on spending a bit more time here. You never feel rushed, though, which is nice.

A tasty way to start the day or get a lunch to go. There’s a comfy feeling you’re eating in someone’s house. The food is fresh and ranges from basic to international.

Been here a few times for breakfast/brunch and food was average to good but a little pricey. Just went for dinner last Saturday though and was scared when we had no trouble getting a table. No reason to be afraid because everything was delicious! Had scallops over spinach and heirloom tomatoes and it was fresh and delightful. Pumpkin cheesecake for dessert was to die for. Chef came out to greet us, which I love. Great food and service in quiet country spot plus BYOB, rates high in my book.

I want to start off by saying the food here is excellent. I was with a party of seven who ordered a variety of brunch dishes, all of which were excellent. That said, the establishment seems to think that an inability to keep track of reservations, unfamiliarity with the menu by servers and general befuddlement is charming. It isn’t. Everyone is very nice, they just don’t seem to think that good, efficient service is important. I visited with the same group of people two years in a row. The first time, we actually made our reservation by Open Table just a couple of hours before we arrived. When they told us they had not yet seen the reservation e-mail, we didn’t think much about it. After some wait, they accommodated us and the food was wonderful. In light of that experience and having enjoyed the food, we decided to come back this year. We made our open table reservation nearly a week in advance, and it was confirmed by e-mail the day before. When we arrived, a little early, they said they did not have the reservation. When we said we made it by Open Table, the greeter smiled proudly and said they hadn’t checked the computer in a while. A week? He seemed to be very proud of the fact they were not tracking their own reservation system and were unaware of a party of 7 that had made a confirmed reservation several days before. Fortunately, they had a table and we were seated. We were given two different types of menus(not two each, some got one and some got another), one saying Breakfast and one saying Brunch. One of my companions specifically asked the waitress if they had the same items on each menu and we were assured they did. Only after ordering, did we discover that there were items on the brunch menu that were not on the breakfast menu, and those with breakfast menus had been unaware of those choices when ordering. Moreover, one dish, that we think was supposed to be the same, was described differently on the two menus — Potato and Scallion Scramble on the Breakfast menu and Potato, Sausage and Scallion Scramble on the Brunch menu. Since the waitress did not seem familiar with the menu item in either version, it took some discussion and pointing at menu items for one person to order the dish with sausage(me) and one without. When the two dishes arrived, the dish with sausage had no sign of any scallion at all. The dish without sausage had a generous amount of scallion added. I was hungry and it tasted fine anyway, so I started eating the dish without scallions. When the waitress came by, however, I told her there were no scallions. She looked at my dish, said«hm» and walked away. A few minutes later she came back and said, «the scallions are in the dish without sausage.» I explained to her that the item on my menu said scallions and sausage — scallions was in the name of the dish in fact. She walked away again. At no time did anyone offer me any choices in how to solve the problem — remake the dish? Was it ok as is? Give me a free muffin? Then some time later — about two bites short of finishing the whole dish — the waitress came back and told me that they were sauteeing scallions for me. I told her not to bother, as it was pointless now and the dish was fine without them. She seemed not to be listening and several minutes later arrived with a small plate containing sauteed scallions. I have no idea what they expected me to do with them, as I was virtually done with breakfast. All the time, the waitress was chatting us up as if we were her best friends. She was really very nice. But all somebody needed to do was say sorry, offer me a new dish, which I would have turned down and told them it was fine as is. Instead, they spent a great deal of time in total confusion as to what was supposed to go into their own dish, and then came up with a solution that was frankly absurd. They never even apologized. Again, the food is great, the people are friendly, but they need to get over the idea that incompetence is a form of charm.

This restaurant is cute! I love the décor. It truly looks like something out of those women’s magazines that leave you wondering«How can I decorate my place this well?» The staff there were wonderful and attentive. The cucumber infused water is really a nice touch. They have an awesome selection of teas and the food menu has many options. There is also a store in the front before you enter the dining room. There are lots of cute items such as soaps, laundry detergent, teas, etc. There are also baked goods in a display case. If you have a major sweet tooth, try the chocolate chip cookies. They’re large, dense, packed with chocolate chips, and stay soft and fresh well into the next day.

A cozy countrystyle shop and restaurant serving fresh homemade brunch dishes and cucumber infused water! Absolutely refreshing! Definitely check our there website! I saw a little poster in the bathroom mentioning that they also do High Tea from 2 — 5pm Monday through Thursdays. If only this place was near me…

This place is great. Everything is done on site with fresh, seasonal ingredients. The menu offers light menu items that aren’t too filling but are very tasty and satisfying. Great egg white omlettes and tasty homemade oatmeal for breakfast. Looking forward to the Wednesday night chicken pot pies this fall!

The restaurant in this space has changed hands(and names) many times in the past few years, and I think this is by far the best incarnation to inhabit the building. I’ve been to Blue Willow for lunch on multiple occasions, and the food is always quite delicious. The service can be a bit slow, and the room somewhat on the loud side, but a great option if you’re in the mood for great soups or sandwiches.

I have visited twice for lunch but definitely will not be returning. Lovely décor and food is fine(not so much the soups), but the entire dining room was serviced by one server on both of my visits. The wait is up to an hour and the menu is mostly high priced sandwiches and salads. Overpriced and pretentious.

I think we have found our new favorite Sunday brunch spot! The vibe here is very country home; I felt almost like I was in Vermont. The menu was even handwritten on paper which was quaint. Our party of four all had excellent meals. Mine was the tomato, feta and spinach omelet which was superb. Another highlight was the homemade apple muffin. It was only after we ordered that I realized there was an extensive coffee/tea drink menu. That in and of itself is enough to make me go back next week! After we ate we enjoyed perusing the little market in the other half of the building for bees wax candles, etc. So glad to have found this place!

Quaint, cozy, and romantic. Eating here is like being in someone’s nice dining room. The dining area has tall ceilings, the layered lighting sets a warm ambiance, and the food is good. I ordered their eggplant napoleon. The mozzarella cheese was fresh and the sauce was tasty. There is a deli/bakery/shop attached that sells candles, soaps, jams, baked goods, etc etc! The price was steeper than I expected, but the setting was relaxing and worth the experience. I want to come back for their brunch!

Found this place while passing through town for breakfast and loved it. Pancakes were amazing with fresh strawberries on top. Had sausage on the side which is apparently made on site. The décor is very cozy and well appointed. Restrooms are so clean and comfortable. The service was excellent even though it was a Monday morning and most people were just coming in for a quick breakfast to go from the deli while we ate in the seating area. Would highly recommend this place!
