Nyack Pour House

Great place, friendly atmosphere. Staff is great. TV’s visible from any angle, good music, DJ on Friday/​Saturday, I believe.
Even the food is great. I had the fried perogies.

Love this bar/​restaurant. Great local place — good food– reasonable prices and a friendly efficient staff. Great spot to people watch while dining. They have both outside seating and tables with large picture windows facing Main Street in Nyack. Love the buffalo chicken egg rolls and the steak Mac and cheese. Good beer selection and a build your own Bloody Mary menu.

Took 40 min to bring a few appetizers, one of them being a simple salad with things dropped on it! Expect to wait forever, incredibly poor value.

I’ve been here a few times, and I went here for the first time in a long time for my friend’s birthday. I was extremely disappointed and very annoyed.
First of all, even though the place was redone (since I was last there), the bar tops were still unclean and the floors were super sticky (ew). I’m not sure what this bar is trying to be. It looks like it wants to be a semi-​fancy restaurant/​bar, but at the same time, the appearance is still sort of divey (but not in a good dive bar way).
The drinks are overpriced. I got Sam Adams for $ 7 dollars (plastic cup too, lol, even dive bars give glass) where I know places in cities like Boston and Manhattan where I can get that for five dollars (at most).
But the thing that really ticked me off the most was when I went to the bar for another drink. I said, «excuse me,» to the bartender. She was TEXTING and gave me the one minute finger. Oh, I’m sorry that I’m politely asking for you to do your job and it’s too inconvenient for you. Incredible how rude people can be.
So, I’m never going back, and I advise you, readers, to not waste your time.
Oh and I was never carded! Did they let under aged people in? Psh, classy.

We couldn’t get a hold of our waitress, couldn’t hear the person I was sitting with because of the blasting music and the food was mediocre at best. When we asked for the music to be turned down the waitress said «ok» and literally turned it down such a small amount you couldn’t tell the difference. Would never go back

We went to Nyack for the street fair, and we were approached by employees with menus, promoting the restaurant. After walking the street fair, we decided to try it. When we went in we were seated fairly quickly. Once we were seated, we sat. And sat. And sat some more, and waited for someone to notice. I counted at least four waitresses walk by our table on the way to placing bar orders. Not one person asked if we were being helped. We gave it ten minutes.
I asked the table next to us if the service was slow, and they said they were having trouble getting the waitress to their table to follow up their meal. We decided to leave, and when the staff saw we were leaving, they simply said, «Sorry» but made no attempt to intervene or correct the situation.
This was a good thing, because we then went down the street to Prohibition and had a fantastic meal with much better service.

Great atmosphere. Stopped in for a early dinner.
Sat outside. Place was busy. We both ate burgers.
They were delicious. Parmesan fries were yummy.
Loved my red sangria. Service was on point.
Servers/​Hostess were very friendly.
Next time we come to town, we will be back.

Only been here for the nightlife.
Decent music to get you dancing, drinks aren’t that expensive, watch the watered down drinks though and usually packed. Depends on the night if good or not though.
If you want to have a convo you def have to scream like a crazy person for someone to hear you LOL.

Ate once before at the pourhouse service wasn’t good, food mediocre. Decided to try it again see if maybe we just came on a very bad day
. Little did i know that service could be worse… We left before even being served. We sat down at a table and waited and waited. Nobody came over nobody seemed to care we were there. Decided to wait another 15 minutes then we left ate at casa del Sol instead, great service there food came quick! Won’t be returning to the pourhouse ever.

Great, family owned bar & restaurant in the heart of Nyack. Highly recommend the bar pies, boneless wings and cheesesteak rolls!

I love the brunch here! The fruity nutty chicken salad is delicious and the service is great. Since the ambiance is decent and the food is very affordable, it is definitely worth trying.

Came in for MNF and all you can eat wings. The wings were really small and unappealing. They were mostly bones. The nachos were also subpar.
The staff was friendly and they had decent deals on drinks. I would only come back for a drink.

Great wait staff. Caitlyn is wonderful. Good drinks. Burgers ordered medium rare came out well done. That’s 5 burgers.

Food 2 stars. Tasty but you get something other than what you order. And not the first time.

I recommend this bar and restaurant to everyone who comes to Nyack. There’s a good and drink special every day of the week! I mainly come on Mondays and/​or Wednesday’s. Monday’s because they have the $ 6 unlimited wing deal and on Wednesdays because they have karaōke! When I order food, I usually get the wings/​buffalo chicken quesadilla (which is to die for) or the bacon cheeseburger that comes with garlic Parmesan fries.
On the weekends this place is packed but in a good way. They have 2 bars within the spot and a lot of space to socialize.

Went here for a Rangers game with the hubs and had a blast. The energy makes you feel like you are at MSG. The food was great especially their fries. Amazing. They had a charity event and asked us to move but then paid our bill! I am definitely going back for the next big sporting event.

Big fan of the Pourhouse. Been coming here for some time now and it’s always a good time. Service is great, food is always good, bartenders are always friendly.
Every time I leave here I am satisfied. They’ve changed their menu and done a good amount of renovations and the place looks awesome. I would recommend this place to anyone.
The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because in changing the menu they removed my favorite dish (the Mediterranean salad) but even still it’s a great establishment. Keep up the good work !!!

not sure what to make of this place. .. . they tout their famous chef, and the menu has things that appear to be interesting, but not sure that it lives up to the hype.
The drinks = very creative; it is a sports bar with a ton of screens so it would be fun for that.
My lady & I came in for dinner on a Friday nite. .. ordered a bunch of things that while not disappointing were considerably short of awesome.
Got a stuffed burger (the New Yorker = stuffed with pastrami; topped with coleslaw). .. . presentation was good, but definitely not the best tasting burger I ever had. and for an attempt at a rueben burger, why serve it with spicy ketchup & american cheese?
They tout their «fresh cut fries» but they are obviously frozen, coated fries. .. gues they were fresh cut by someone at sometime; but somewhere else. .. .
Mac & cheese was outstanding.
Their menu touts their new baby back ribs that are dry rubbed. .. maybe so, but they were served with BBQ sauce over the top. .. . and I must say not the best ribs that I’ve ever had.
Will try again with other menu items, but so far am relatively underwhelmed & disappointed.

Typical huge bar with greasy ass but delicious food, that turns into club nYacK by the looks of it. Idk i came on a Monday and skipped that nightmare. We came during Happy hour and of course couldnt mix the happy hour specials with the groupon one of the peeps had, and I wasnt even going to bring up my Unilocal check in bc the bartender probably would have cried from confusion.
All the gluttonous apps we had were great. Atery clogging and rich with our beers. I had one of those massive martini drinks. GOod but the sugar headache I knew was in my future wasn’t looking so fun.
Overall, seems like a great spot if you come at the right time– ie happy hour buy1 get 1 apps son.
Staff are kinda a bunch of stunads but hey, whatever.

My son had the pizza it was really good like real Italian pizza I was expecting something microwaved like most bars would have.
I got the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was nice and crispy, I would get it again.
My other half ordered the deep fried grilled cheese and he was impressed .
I feel like the chefs put a lot of love into what they do.
Highly recommend, would definitely go back
