The 3 of us had the all you can eat Sushi for .28.95 a person. Sushi was average, but good value for only 28.95.

We came in late on a Thursday, so the place was nearly empty. Hubby and I both ordered Bento Boxes which came with miso soup, salad, and rice. The soup was perfectly flavored, but lacked tofu. Salad was crisp and fresh, but WAY over dressed; fortunately, the dressing was tasty. Our meals were served shortly after the appetizers, and both were steaming hot. I ordered the seared salmon roll, chicken teriyaki, and sashimi. The sashimi was extremely fresh, and the chicken teriyaki tender. I didn’t care for the roll; the salmon was not merely seared… it was destroyed! The pickles accompanying the dinner were tasty, though. Certainly far from a top quality restaurant, but ok for a quick bite on the way to the airport.

The food was definitely good! Great selection, and the service was prompt and friendly. My only complaint was that we waited for a few minutes to receive our check after we were ready. That may have been because there was a mini-rush if people coming in as we were ready. I would definitely come back when in the area

Decent boxes and sushi, high prices on alcohol though. Location super convenient for airport or Warriors/Raiders/A’s games(for as long as the teams are in the area, a relocation is looking imminent)

Lady was way rude when taking our order, in a rush like manner. Didn’t even stay long enough to ask what we wanted to drink. Hopefully the sushi is decent before we head off to the Dubs game

The food was definitely good and plentiful. We ordered much more than we knew we could actually consume and it all tasted fresh and tasty. I found the service to be a little slow at first but it was pleasant. The restrooms remind me of a dive bar in Mexico

We went here for AYCE and felt ripped off badly. It was $ 28 a person and the sushi consisted on 90% rice. All the rolls were loaded with gobs of rice and very little fish. They would only allow 1 order of nagiri per person(which I have never heard of at any AYCE place), and only allow you to order one roll at a time(a tactic to make you get full off less food). On top of that, the quality of fish was mediocre at best, and the service was down right terrible. The server was extremely rude and would ignore half the things we said/asked on purpose. It was an unreal dining experience. I can’t believe that this place is still in business, as I can’t imagine them ever having any repeat customers

This place is a dive. The décor, the lack of knowledge not Japanese servers and the price is 4 star. Drive further and enjoy nice ambiance and fresh food.

Small, quiet, unassuming, little place off if Hegenberger. I’ve only been here for lunch but for $ 14.99, you can get a lunch set which is a mini bowl of udon and a mini bowl of chiarashi with a salad! I’ve never seen a deal this good before and that’s why I come back for it all the time. And no, its not a mini micro bowl. This is a legitimate meal! Thanks Yoshino!

EXCELLENT service!!! AMAZING sushi. BEAUTIFUL little sushi joint. Me and my g/f were there last night and the service was great. We arrived a little past 10pm, it was half empty, service was fast. Friendly Asian people. Although what bothered me a little is that they gave us our food and me and girl were just digging in when they brought us our check. I mean I understand it’s close to closing time but still. It was kinda rude.

I keep giving this place the benefit of the doubt but I end up disappointed every time. I use to come often since it’s close proximity of work and they use to have great service and decent quality sushi. But now not so much. I ordered seafood udon couple months back and the fish wasn’t cooked all the way and it was still somewhat frozen. The portion? Not so great. My co worker ordered the lunch bento to go and they said they can’t give us the miso soup since its a lunch Togo order? What? The menu said its included w/bento. Yesterday, since this place the only place near by for a late night sushi, I ordered take out bento which includes soup and miso soup. I also ordered extra soup & salad and lion king roll for my friend. We got homeno extra salad or miso and my bill came out to be $ 45?! Wtf? I admit, I should’ve checked the bag but seriously? I’ll not be returning. I learned my lesson.

What a great venue, the food is delish and the service is superb. Everything is so fresh, it’s also a pretty wide place maybe a place to throw a private party. Drop on in sometime and pay these kind people a visit.

On Friday, June 12th, I became as sick as a dog just an hour and a half after having eaten the Yoshino Salad, with the dressing on the side. I think they left the dressing out in the warm air, and bacteria developed, so, beware. Also, buried in the menu is a sentence that discloses that in any dish where crab is used, it will be imitation crab. They go on to say that they can substitute real crab at the customer’s request, but then it will cost more. I didn’t see that sentence until too late, and so had to eat imitation crab, much to my dismay. I think the hidden sentence, shouldn’t be so hidden, first of all, and that it should say instead, that all crab dishes are made with real crab, but if you want to save money, you can substitute it with imitation crab. I saw sushi dishes going out from the sushi bar, and they were beautiful!

Two stars for the first visit Second visit wasn’t as good so it gets no stars There was a fly in the beverage originally placed I said originally placed because when they FINALLY did bring the second drink it was the wrong drink… just great. We ordered the Edamami it took them three times to get it right. They brought out two cold bowls of it and it just seemed like nothing was going okay. When I asked for at least a 10% discount off our bill she replied«bugs in a beverage CAN happen an does happen» I was shocked and asked for the manager she replied«he isn’t here» This is ridiculous I will not be returning the only reason we came is because they’re the only sushi place in town that also serves alcoholic drinks. But it’s not worth the bad service and buggs! GROSS!!.

***STAYAWAY*** I came here on a Thursday evening around 530 because my flight was delayed at the airport nearby. I sat down at the sushi bar and five minutes went by before someone gave me a menu. I waited another ten minutes for someone to take my order but no one came so I left. While I was waiting I saw the sushi chef coughing on the sushi he was making and also eating some of the fish too!

Came here with a friend around 5:45PM on a Friday night. I’ve actually been here before so this was my third time here. The first time I was here was many years back so I can’t remember any details about the food or service. My second time here was back in August and that experience was good. Service was good and food wasn’t too bad. I think they try to accommodate more of the non-Asians because flavoring is not exactly Japanese. Their dishes are more fusion, in my opinion. Tonight was a bit different. I walked in and looked around waiting for a waitstaff to notice me. The lady with the lavender hair saw me and completely ignored me. Didn’t bother to even come back and see if I needed help while I stood there for a good 3 minutes or so. There was another lady there who was busy at the cash register and her back was towards the door so I decided to wait for her to finish what she was doing and she turned around, saw me and actually apologized that she didn’t see me there. At least someone took notice that I was standing there. I ordered the Chilean«miso» Sea Bass. Flavor was similar to a teriyaki sauce, but a less sweeter and light in color. I liked my dish, but it definitely wasn’t Japanese. For $ 21.95, you get two pieces of sea bass fillet and a bowl of rice, you also get a miso soup and salad along with your meal. I think the price isn’t bad considering that I was full off of it before I actually finished it. I would’ve given this place 4-stars if it wasn’t for the rude lady who ignored me. But I guess we can’t expect everyone to love their job enough to try and be courteous to a customer, when they’re staring at you point blank.

Nice big sushi establishment by the airport. Bright lights displaying their name so it’s hard to miss. Service should work on their manners and be a little more polite. Howver, they are time efficient and fast. There is plenty of seating and décor is the same as other sushi spots. They have a tiny bar and with the tiniest tv in the corner. With all their space, I think they can afford to expand their bar a little bit. Their sushi was tiny compared to other places while their prices were high. They had some ahi poke salad that was just alright. I think Costco sells better poke! This place isn’t bad and its location makes it very convenient for those who are either killing time before their flight or hungry after their arrival. Sorry no pictures this time. Was too hungry to snap a photo. Lol!

Good burgers. Cheap beer. Not so good sushi. The best thing here is the burger. How sad is that? We came during happy hour for a dinner before a show at the Oracle Arena. Beer was pretty cheap at $ 8.50 a pitcher, sake only $ 2 each. I’ve recently been to place with the same size sakes for only $ 1 during happy hour, but its still an okay price. We ordered some kind of jalapenos stuffed with spicy tuna and house sauce, a lion king roll, a burger, teriyaki meatballs, some kind of «Japanese garlic butter fried rice with beef,» and salmon nigiri. The jalapenos lacked seasoning and weren’t spicy ATALL, neither the spicy tuna nor the jalapenos themselves. The lion king roll was the most expensive thing we got at $ 12.95, and for the price, it was pretty small. Their house sauce for it is also different than most places, they use some kind of miso sauce rather than mayo. The salmon on top was overcooked, and the whole thing looked kinda greyish green instead of the usual pinkish orange. It didn’t taste horrible, but it wasn’t good and not what we were expecting either. The teriyaki meatballs were actually ridiculously good! They were very obviously homemade, and cooked a nice medium well while still retaining its juiciness. After enjoying these, we decided to add a burger to our meal. The burger(9.95) I could tell was just as good as the meatballs, also homemade, but it was charred a bit more than I like. It was well done, I could’ve gone a bit more rare. The«Japanese garlic butter fried rice with beef» was under the«Rice Bowls, things over rice» category, so I ordered it expecting some kinda japanese garlic butter rice i’ve never had before, topped with some kind of beef. However, I was disappointed to find that it was simply fried rice with beef. And adding beef added $ 3! $ 10 for fried rice is pretty ridiculous. Lastly, the nigiri, 5.95. The salmon was sliced very thinly, thin enough to see through. Also, the piece I had tasted like it had been rubbed with ginger. Knife cross contamination in the kitchen maybe? No bueno! If I ever come back, it’ll be for a burger and happy hour drinks. Mojitos are five bucks. I would definitely head elsewhere for sushi though.

We came here to meet up with a friend that was staying at the Courtyard near OAK. Since we were pressed on time, we decided to eat here since it was less than a block from the hotel they were staying at. I really walked in with no expectations whatsoever, but it was pretty decent. I got the chicken katsu which came with soup, salad and rice for $ 13.95. It’s a far cry from the best katsu I’ve had, but it wasn’t awful as I expected either. But it’s also pretty hard to mess up Katsu. Bento boxes were $ 17.95 with your choice of 3 items. I noticed on the menu there were many specialty rolls including some I’ve had at other Sushi places. Lion King, Forty niner roll, etc. Since we didn’t order any sushi, I can’t make any judgements, but they looked decent on the menu. They have a fully stocked bar which was nice, and Happy hour was from 4−7pm. I probably won’t be back anytime soon, since the prices are pretty typical Sushi restaurant prices and I’d rather just go elsewhere; but if another situation arises where we need to be by the airport, I wouldn’t mind dropping in for a quick meal.

I was at work and I hadn’t had dinner yet. I wanted some Sushi. So I checked my Unilocal Mobile App and Yoshino Sushi popped up. The Cool part is their open till 11 P.M. So I jumped into my Work Whip Big Ken and rolled to Yoshino Sushi . There was plenty of Parking in their Private Lot so I parked Big Ken there . I strolled in and took a seat at their Sushi Bar .I was presented with a menu. Which I perused. Yoshino is quite a large place and nicely furnished and decorated . The Sushi Chef was quite friendly and very skillful at his trade. His Sushi knife is extremely high grade and quite pricey $ 1000USD. There is a Large Lcd at the Sushi Bar tuned to the Food Network for Entertainment. When my Waitress arrived I ordered the Chirashi and Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura . It was awesome to watch the Sushi Chef assemble my Chirashi. He was very Skillful with his Sushi Knife. He cut the Fish into nice Uniform Chunks. He was quite artistic with his presentation. I was really impressed when he presented me with the Chirashi. It was a nice assortment of Raw Fish, Octopus, Tam ago and Eel. The Fish was Fresh and Earthy and quite satisfying. Then the Waitress brought me my Tempura. The Fried Shrimp was Delish and the Vegetables were Fresh and Crisp. It was an Awesome Dinner . I had to finish the Meal by ordering Green Tea Ice Cream. My Waitress returned with a Mountain of Green Tea Ice Cream, Whip Cream and Chocolate Sauce it was a Sweet Treat !!! I then paid my tab with my Discover Card and Rolled Out . I will definitely return to Yoshino in the Future.
