The service was horrible, we have been waiting our food for about an hour already, then we asked the waitress several times if our food were ready yet, the waitress actually reply us with a extremely bad attitude, said” if you guys don’t want to wait, the exit is right there, you all can leave” in Chinese. We came to this place for graduation ceremony dinner tonight, but we never thought we would be treated like this. I personally wouldn’t recommend this place for everyone!

Great sushi with good portions for the price. It’s also got a nice atmosphere and TVs all around. Great Friday night spot!

My go to sushi place, hot tea is free and also the soybeans«for now» prices are ok, I like the miso soup, and sushis are normal sized, good service and is a nice place.

The old Taco Bell is now Sushi Delight which is a much better option IMO. Their food isn’t always consistent but I have decided to stick to the same dishes for better luck. It is pretty huge so finding a table is not too difficult. On our first visit, it took forever to get food with my son getting his Chicken Teriyaki before my rolls which arrived a good 20 minutes later. Since then I have gone a couple times with the last experience being the best where all our dishes were pretty good. They included the Sashimi Carpachio, Salmon Roll and Mango go-go(my least fave). It is a good reasonable priced option to have in town.

This may not be the BEST sushi place in town, but it’s my family’s go-to sushi restaurant because there’s never a wait. The restaurant is pretty big with plenty of big booths and tables. The seating is also super spacious. It never feels cluttered even when three or four plates come out. My favorite roll is definitely the Sexy Salmon roll. It’s pretty simple, with salmon and avocado filling topped with more salmon, seaweed, and tobiko. The presentation itself was perfect. Another go-to is the the Rainbow roll because who doesn’t like assorted fish?! But this roll can definitely be a hit or miss. Sometimes, it comes out not fresh at all, while other times it was on point. Another great roll is the Fire Dragon. It’s not as spicy as it sounds, don’t worry! It’s shrimp tempura, crab and cucumber on the inside with grilled salmon on top. Decent quality + reasonable pricing = 3 stars.

I have always wanted to try this restaurant out since I thought it looked nice on the inside but when I finally tried this out, It wasn’t a good experience. The service took really long to get to me, the food took forever to come(but more on this later), and the food was okay/meh. So the service went like this for me. My girlfriend and I sat down, we were given the menus, then we ordered. Now we were seated on the couch area and as we waited for our food, another group came in and they were seated next to us. Now from about the time we ordered and this group next to us ordered was probably a good 15 minutes but somehow, they got their food first while mine did not come until probably another 10 minutes past the time the group next to me got theirs. I even had to hail them for a while and ask them where my order is in order to bring some attention that my party and I existed in this establishment. My order wasn’t complicated, ramen for me and 2 sushi rolls for my girlfriend. Now that’s not complicated but how is it that I got my food after a group that came after me. In total, my wait time from sitting down and receiving my food was nearly 45 minutes and I don’t know about you guys but that kills my mood. Now when we finally got our food, I was hoping that since it took so long for me to get my food, it would at the very least be good but the ramen was bland and the sushi was meh. My girlfriend and I definitely have had way better elsewhere. Not to mention that the pricing was more on the expensive end for Japanese food. Overall: — Long wait time — Bland food — Service(almost non-existent) — Expensive(within the category of Japanese) — But good décor though!

This is the best sushi restaurant I’ve ever been to. The service is impeccable, the sushi is AMAZING and the prices are affordable. We’ve been going here for years. I recommend the Chef’s Choice.

Been eating here for more than a year now. Every time, the food is getting less and less unappetizing. Very poor customer service, seems like the servers here are tired of their work and are eager for you to leave(with the exception of the one male server with glasses during the afternoons). The place has this racist vibe. Why can’t you be served with good customer service just like the others regardless of your color? And the petite Asian girl waiting during the evening, not only once, but twice you have been our server, all we can sa is that, your customer service is as nasty as the burnt Lion King Roll you served us tonight. Would we recommend this place and come back again? Hell no.

Been eyeing this place since it opened. Finally got to try it last night for our anniversary dinner. I thought maybe it was gonna be empty as it was a Tuesday night. Upon arriving the place was pretty full which I liked because I knew the food was gonna be good. Every time I would pass by there was always a lot of people dining so that was good. We get seated right away as a few tables were open. I already new what I was ordering before arriving as I read and seen a lot of yummy pictures. We ordered the Baked Mussels with garlic miso sauce and the Beef Asparagus roll. The mussels to my surprise were pretty big in size so that was good and they tasted really yummy. The asparagus roll OMG i loved it especially when they kinda charred the top which I think was a mistake of them but for me it actually tasted really good like that and they drizzle it with like a sweet Teriyaki type sauce. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. lol. so for the rolld we got the Super Godzilla roll OMG delish. The lion king was just ok I think that one I’ve had better but still good. Then we also had the Sun Flower, the salmon tasted really fresh also very good. Over all the service was great and I will be going back.

We like this spot for lunch because they are fast and friendly. The waitress there is the best and funny. We can walk from our office there and enjoy the day.

I’ve gone to Sushi Delight a number of times in the years since it’s opened, and generally it’s a very nice place to dine. The interior, which was once a Taco Bell, was meticulously redone when the new ownership took over; it’s so beautiful and fancy inside, no one could ever guess the space’s more humble origins. The food is good. Rolls are large, and pricing for them usually hovers around $ 8-$ 10. Given the amount of sushi for the money, it’s an ok deal, though sometimes I feel like pricing could be a little fairer. I’ve come here before in small and larger groups, and no matter the size, Sushi Delight is accommodating and fun to go to. So why a 3 star review? For the particularly hit or miss service that can be experienced here. On a good night, the staff is pleasant and helpful; on a bad night, like I experienced last Thursday, it can be the exact opposite. It was three younger guys manning the restaurant floor when my buddy and I came in around 8PM. The restaurant wasn’t closing, but it might as well have been. We weren’t served edamame as is typically the custom once seated, and our server completely disappeared for a huge chunk of our meal. He could be seen darting around, oblivious to my friend as he tried to order another roll, and I had to ask three times for more water; between the TWO servers I tried to get more water from, that’s ridiculous. So I recommend Sushi Delight… so long as service isn’t too busy ignoring you and making you feel like you’re not worth their time-though they’ll gladly take your money, regardless.

This place is a great Japanese/Chinese fusion restaurant. We come here a lot because it’s clean and comfortable and food are decent with reasonable price. They’re very good at making varieties of sushi and nigiri rolls, sashimi. Their Ramon are also good with reasonable price($ 8.99 and up). They also serve clay pot rice which is a Chinese dish, if you want to try something different than pure Japanese cuisine. If you’re a bento box person, don’t come here, you will be disappointed. The portion is small and just taste ordinary, and not cheap at all($ 14.99 and up for just two choices) And I forgot to mention, ice cream dessert is complementary with 2 different flavored(mango, and green tea). Make sure you ask for it after meal or it may not be served.

I like the food here but they forgot to serve me my ramen. I’ve asked 3 times, told me they will check and never came back. When we received our check, they charged me for my ramen but after telling them I didn’t get it, they adjusted the check, but never apologize, not once saying they’re sorry for not bringing the ramen I ordered

Came here with friends last weekend and it’s a spacious, cozy place! The owners of this restaurant also own a few other places in the area but they serve different kinds of food. I ordered a unagi hand roll as a starter which was good but I wish there was alittle more avocado. Dude ordered the hot pot rice which was also tasty and comforting. Then I had a big bowl of kalbi ramen which was was tasty and comforting on a cold night! One of our friends ordered sushi. Service was friendly and prompt and we even had complimentary green tea and mango ice cream for dessert

+/-THE FOOD The food is a hit or miss here. It’s definitely not one of my favorite sushi places but the food is fresh and nicely presented. The food also isn’t very authentic because they’re not open by Japanese owners. I’ve had lion king rolls with cheese in them(no thanks) and seafood udon that tastes like a random frozen seafood pack thrown into a super light broth. However, I do like their hamachi kama a lot because it’s plenty flavorful and is a decent size. + THEENVIRONMENT Spacious area with a lot of seating. It’s one of the cleaner sushi places I’ve been to with their nice leather seats and tasteful décor. They have both table seating and bar seating.

The Sashimi Experience dinner was just okay. The Sexy Salmon Roll was good. Tempura appetizer was typical and nothing outstanding. The raw oysters were good. The service was bad because they took too long to take our order. The two tables that were seated after us were already getting their food before we were served our drinks. Our appetizers were served along with our main dishes; were came in different times. Our server didn’t ask if meal was okay until after we paid our bill.

Just had dinner from this place after hearing good things from a friend that came before. Nice atmosphere and decorations, along with nice and attentive servers. Food came out fast which was much appreciated since my BF and I were starving. Decided to order appetizers first since we couldn’t decide on the main entrée and they gave us time to decide, not pushy at all. We had the goma tuna tataki, sashimi capriccio, lamb chops, butterfish nigiri, hot pot rice, sexy salmon and the Godzilla roll. Wanted the mango madness but they were out of mangos, oh well, next time. Out of all of them, Godzilla would have to be my favorite, also think if there was a jalapeño slice on top would make it perfect! Presentation of food was okay to pretty good, food was just okay for me. Have had better, but with my cravings this was good enough. Felt like there was a lot of Chinese influenced sauces in their dishes, made the sushi taste kinda off to me. Price, I would say is about average. I would return again and try other things on the menu, just don’t have too high of expectations.

Came here again last night. Everything was still very good, but wanted to just add a comment. Their sushi is excellent and everything else doesn’t compare. I wouldn’t come here for their cooked dishes like terriyaki or soups. Their sushi menu is their star.

I was pleasantly surprised with this sushi restaurant. My boyfriend and I came late last night for a late dinner. The place has a nice, casual-upscale appearance, and is pretty big. You have to fight for parking in this Safeway shopping center, though. I ordered a sunomono with shrimp(I lovvvvve cucumbers), but the shrimp was slightly dry. I also ordered a «Dancing Shrimp» roll, which was basically an avocado-less california roll, with shrimp, tempura crunchies, mayo, and tobiko on top. Had it been spicy mayo, I think I would have liked it a little better, but it wasn’t bad. My boyfriend got a chicken teriyaki dinner and a California roll. He was happy with his dinner, too. They have a fairly extensive menu with all sorts of things on it. Our dinner total came to $ 37.80 before tip. Not a bad price. However, for only one singular reason, they don’t get five stars from me: the menu kind of stinks… Although there are a TON of photos in the menu, you have to search to match up the photo with the description. I do also wish the lighting of the photos in the menu was a little better so I could more clearly see some of the rolls. I don’t think photos are quite as necessary as a great description is; I just wanna know what’s on the inside, what’s on the outside, and any sauces!

Working lunch with someone else paying! I’ll drive! This was my first visit here, and for some reason they wanted me to order the rolls for the group??? #1 ordered a eel donburi, and he licked the bowl clean. this also included salad and miso soup. #2 ordered a seafood udon noodle, which included large pieces of large sliced squid or octopus #3 ordered a vegetarian bento box that included Tofu steak(deep fried), vegetable tempura, avocado rolls, and salad. The largest one meal and there were left overs. I ordered the saba shioyaki. the grilled mackerel had a crispy skin and was tender, it was covered with green onions and shredded daikon. with a slice of cantaloupe and orange. sides included miso soup and salad. I ended up ordering for the group, the«sweet bomb» which is artificial crab wrapped in salmon and included two pieces of mango, covered in tobiko! Second shared roll was dynomite roll, which was deep fried and then covered in a honey mustard and hot sauce hmmm… next visit, I was thinking the Hawaii Chili Poki
