Brisket has been tender and juicy the few times we’ve eaten here. The sides are good. The cobbler is real good and the free ice cream is nice. Staff has been friendly and the place is clean. Prices are reasonable.

Way to expensive for what we received.
Most of it went in the trash.

Staff not really friendly and service is slow. Good value and the sides are great but the flavor of the meat is bland and you have to put a lot of BBQ sauce on the meat to flavor it. I’ve had the pulled pork and the brisket and the seasoning is lacking.

Got 3 meat plate. Surprisingly small portions and all the meats were dry with not much flavor. Thought this place would be better. Clean place though with good fast service.

I ordered the Monday Managers Special, the Westerner sandwich, a single side and drink. Chopped beef and spicy hot links were the meats with onion and pickle.
Service was wick, meat on the sandwich was generous and good. The bin was fresh and warm too. The bacon and opinion green beans were very good and served hot!
I’ll come back!

The usual disappointment. Expensive, small portions, and the BBQ is just ok. The giant Texas sized sandwich is expensive and average. There are much better places around than this.

I visited this place on Sunday and ordered the 3 meat plate, the honey ham, sliced brisket and hot links were juicy and well cooked. I enjoy Dickeys for the quality of BBQ and variety of sides they offer, I got the mac and cheese and also the waffle fries both which tasted very good. The place is pricey and they are cheap with the portion of meat they give you but the food is great, sweet tea is perfectly sweetened, and they also offer free ice cream. To some it up it’s a great BBQ pick me up!

I decided to give this place a try one day and my first time was a disappointment. Im slightly disgruntled about BBQ prices these days. I ordered the plate of that allowed me to try the most amount of meats. I payed twenty dollars and left hungry. The thing i did enjoy the most was their sausage. Thats what brought me back and I will go again. Everyone has a bad day once in a wile. I hear their ribs are great and when I have some extra time I will try them next. I put their knowledge service and products way above this areas Jack Jordans BBQ!

Went here today for my birthday lunch. No waiting in line. Service was excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive. I ordered a 2 meat plate with brisket and sausage and my sides were fried okra and onion tanglers. They cooked them right in front of me while I waited. The food was terrific. I know people gripe that it’s not authentic bbq, but it’s the best we’ve got in Odessa and this place does a great job. The atmosphere was perfect and there was hardly an empty seat (and this was well after the normal lunch run). Portion size was big and there were plenty of stations for sauce and drinks. I will definitely be back. I am singing their praises.
