This was a great experience in every way except one major issue.
I say at the bar alone and it was good service. But when I received my steak it was severely undercooked. This wasn’t just getting a pink steak when I asked for it well done. This was I ordered medium and it came out purple in 60% of it. Other than that it was good.

Everything here is so great and the waitresses give very good services. I absolutely will come back here again for their delicious sushi, and I strongly recommend you guys to come here.

Sometimes it’s hit or miss with this place, but seeing as they are always packed, there must be more hits than misses. The good is consistently good, except for the steak preparation. When they do get it right, it is very good. The management is very good in this restaurant. They will make sure that your order gets corrected and that you are well taken care of which is a hard find in Odessa.

We ate frequently at Texas Roadhouse when we were in SoCal and I realized that the one we have here in Odessa is far inferior in terms of quality, ambiance and service. But overall, it’s good food. Bone-​in ribeye is my favorite. Will still come back again.

Best loaded Steaks in town! One of my favorite places to have a delicious dinner with my family! Way to go Texas Roadhouse!!!

Ordered take out on a busy night and it was ready when promised and everything was perfect!

I have had a few issues with the service staff and the quality of the food in the past, but last night was the last straw! Our server was a young lady who obviously did not want to be there, and I’m guessing the reason was that our party of 7 walked in at 9pm. I’ve worked in the restaurant business and I know how it works-​the last tables are the ones you secretly hate, but as a server you’re expected to put on a smile and fake it till you make it! Well, this girl only had 2 tables that I could see, and she still managed to deliver the worst service I have experienced at this location! Our drinks ran empty quickly, bread was devoured in minutes, and yet we still did not get refills until the appetizer arrived. One of my biggest pet peeves is having to ask a server for something as obvious as a tea refill! The salads were dropped off, one was wrong of course, and to our disgust, the tomatoes in the garden salads were spoiled and mushy!!! We sent one back but I just picked mine off. We still had to ask for refills. Empty glasses, appetizer and salad plates remained on the table throughout the meal. The food was alright, nothing to write home about. The medium rare steak was a little too rare, the medium was too well, etc. We were almost all separate on the checks (I know this is a pet peeve for servers) but she still managed to mess this up as well. I don’t normally hate on servers, but in this case I was so disappointed in the experience that I can’t help but deter you from ever going here! This location must have super lenient managers (because I never saw one during the hour and a half we were there) and they must not value the customers that come in an hour prior to close. If you can refill a drink and bus a table, you can be a decent server. This girl and her attitude is what’s wrong with this area-​they just don’t care about the experience of going out to eat. Yes, serving can be hard, but it can also be really easy if you use your brain and crack a smile every once in awhile. I will NOT be returning to Texas Roadhouse ever again, and if you choose to, don’t say I didn’t warn you.

This is the absolute worse and the service is awful! I ordered the beef tips, baked potato, & steamed vegetables. Every item was served separately and the pic is self explanatory. Never again! I didn’t eat anything. I put it in a to go box and gave it away. West Texas is supposed to have good food.

I’ve eaten here several times and they consistently have great steaks. They always have good service and that says a lot in Odessa. By far the best steak and ribs you’ll get in Odessa TX

We have always enjoyed going to this restaurant! They cook our steak spot on as we had ordered it. The rolls are hot and that sweet butter is so good! We rarely wait to be seated.

Texas Roadhouse made the best steak I have had in the Odessa/​Midland area at a restaurant and I have lived here some time. I had not tried it until very recently as I heard that the music was overwhelmingly loud. I am not really a food expert, and there may be better somewhere but out of all of the places here that serve steak that I have tried, Texas Roadhouse has been the best.
I got the cheapest steak they had which was a 6 oz. sirloin. It was very tender and had quite a good flavor. Good baked potato, and salad with good toppings including chopped egg. My friend got some pork chops and while they were tender, they were a little too highly salted.
We got there for dinner around 5:10 PM on a Monday and were able to get a table with no wait. The music was loud but not obnoxious and since it was mostly country music I could tolerate it OK. At 5:50 PM an automatic timer dimmed the lights and made the music even louder and at that point the atmosphere got to where I could only take a little more of it. You could barely talk to people across the table and the lighting was too dim to see the food well. There was a free jukebox replica with touch screen where you could select songs but there must be so many selections in the queue that even if you select one, it may be a while before you would hear it.
I only deduct one star from my rating for the way the lights and music got around 6:00 PM. Maybe for a bar which just serves drinks this would be OK but if you want to talk over dinner and see the food well the atmosphere is too much.

Don’t bother doing the call ahead seating. It took 2 hours to get a table anyway.
Place looks like it hasn’t been cleaned the entire weekend. I guess throwing peanut shells on the floor gives them an excuse to never have to clean. Nice touch.

Always the best steaks in town with not a lot of waiting. There’s always friendly people here. Good to know there’s still a place where I can enjoy a good meal without putting up with employees with bad attitude.

Are you kidding me? This place was PACKED on a Saturday night. With that said, our wait time was relatively short for the amount of people there. They had us seated within the 35 minute time frame they had estimated. Our server was great and energetic despite all the chaos. The food took about 20 minutes to get to us and the food was mediocre. I’ve had better at other locations.
I’m giving them a higher rating because despite all the madness of the crowd they gave us great service. All the employees were nice and accommodating when they could have been easily grumpy and frustrated. Kudos to the staff for all your hustling and hard work that night!

Texas Roadhouse is known for a good steak at a reasonable price point. This location stays busy for a reason, they have it together. The prime rib at this location is as good as it gets, anywhere, at any price. The management at the other «Logan’s» roadhouse in town should take the entire kitchen staff out for a meal here and let them taste food that is prepared correctly to order.

Craving steaks and excellent service? Go here, great service and if your from here it is a bonus! I am not usually an everyday steak fan, I like to have at least a steak once a week or twice a month for that matter but Texas Roadhouse here in Odessa never disappoints, I’ve been here over a dozen times for number of years and only once or twice my steak wasn’t cooked well done but not a bad statistic considering all the years I been eating here. The steaks are mostly juicy, cooked made to order, great with A1 sauce, house salads are always fresh and loaded baked potato topped to the fullest. The service is great always staffed and a hidden gem here in Odessa, a rare find for great food and service. TR may be a chain restaurant however consistancy and friendly service will bring you to this place again and again!

I have always liked Texas Roadhouse, the service is usually pretty good. I can say I have never had a bad steak there before, and my family is usually very satisfied and happy upon leaving.

The food was fantastic, as always at Texas Roadhouse. The manager came over and actually talked to us and was playing with my 2-​year old daughter (which always makes a mother feel good). Even though the place was packed, we never waited for anything.

Had the 16 oz NY strip steak dinner. The steak was extremely flavorful, high quality (no bristle) and cooked just as ordered. The complimentary dinner rolls were addictive. However, the side of fresh vegetables (broccoli & baby carrots) was overcooked, flavorless and in extremely small portion. The side salad was mediocre at best. Overall, an average experience. I wish there was an Outback on this side of town.
