We’ve eaten here many times. I’ve tried a variety of their menu items. This latest visit I ordered the 6 oz fillet, which was very tender and tasty and cooked to a perfect medium as ordered. The lunch menu offered one side and I chose a salad which came separately, so when the steak arrived, it was very lonely on the plate. A garnish would have set off the plate nicely if they’d added one. They have alcohol but also flavored ice tea which I love. The service was friendly and kept our drinks full. The décor is for a typical steak house, but they have fun metal carved table dividers with cowboys and cattle that make the extra western touch special.

This is my favorite steakhouse in Weber/Davis County. I try to avoid chain restaurants, but the Ogden Longhorn has never let me down. I’ve eaten here many times and always had stellar service and a delicious meal. Call ahead to avoid waiting on Friday or Saturday night.

Like the Longhorn in The District, they are a step up over the competition. It’s a few bucks more, but not much. Yes, like many places they can have servers that are well meaning but less than perfect. That’s’ just a fact of life at casual dining restaurants. The food is pretty consistently good. The atmosphere is nice. There are a couple reasonably priced wine options that are decent wine. The meat is reasonable. If they mess up the preparation they’ve always made things right.

Food was decent… but they didn’t bring my grilled onions and mushrooms… The rare prime rib was served cold I mean room temp. At least it tasted good :o(The other eaters were satisfied but not thrilled.

Walking in the first thing I noticed was the great décor and lighting. The tables are a high gloss so they reflect the lighting well. The hostess was very pleasant and seated us right away. It was earlier in the evening so it was still pretty quiet. Our server was very nice and attentive without being a pest. She anticipated when we would need a drink refill and got it there before we had to ask. The food itself was presented well and tasted fine. The thing that kicked it up to 4 stars was the fact that my husband, who has to have his meat cooked well, did not have to ask them to take his steak back and cook it longer. Every other steak place we have gone to has had to take his steak back to cook longer. Then by the time it comes back he has eaten everything else on his plate. We had the Renegade Sirloin with shrimp. For dessert the Chocolate Stampede was amazing! We can’t afford to go here often but a great place to spend a nice dinner with your sweetie.

Got the porterhouse for two. It is huge and good but sharing one steak was actually annoying. Don’t recommend, it doesn’t turn out to be a romantic meal but two people bumping utensils. Next time we will most likely just order two separate entrees.

Absolutely amazingly flavorful steak… especially the Outlaw Ribeye! And save room for the Caramel Apple dessert. A little more expensive than other chain steak houses, but so worth the extra cost!

Horrible service. 25 minutes and the wife still hasn’t got her Margherita. The place is half empty and the line is out the door. This place has already lost this customer. If not for my wife, I would walk out now.

We have been to Longhorn a few times. It is very good food, and worth the wait! This place is usually very busy, especially on the weekends. Call ahead to reserve a place on the list, it really reduces your wait time. I love the steak here, they always cook it to my specifications. Salad is also always great-crisp and fresh(the ranch dressing is waaay good!). The décor here is one of my favorite parts of Longhorn, I love the tasteful Western theme(and all the horses! The huge painting of the running herd is my favorite.) Our wait staff has always been courteous and checks on us just the right amount(we love Fran!). Tables are bussed regularly and the hostess is always sweet. It can be a bit loud at dinner but isn’t so crowded that you want to bolt for the door, it’s set up with plenty of space. The specials and the menu change up enough to keep you interested. Longhorn is a bit more expensive than other steakhouses, that’s the only reason we aren’t here more often.

Pretty good over all. Asked about prime rib said they had all cuts etc. Then when I ordered it 3 min later they were sold out of everything. Had the ribeye it was delicious. Found out later the side that I chose cost 3 $ extra. That kind of pissed me off. Only gave 2 plates for appetizers for a party of 5. Couldnt get a hold of waitress until it was gone. Appetizer was overpriced. 11 $ for a taquito cut into thirds a few mushrooms with cheese and some breaded shrimp. The steak was the saving grace of this meal. It was perfectly cooked. Might go back might not. There are lots of good steak houses around.

My husband and I went for our Anniversary. Our server, Michelle, was very excellent. She was friendly, knowledgable, and courteous. I had prime rib which was so delicious it was mouth watering. Grilled corn on the cob that was perfect, jalapeño shooters that were delicious. Plus, I had a black and blue margarita that screamed summer! Loved it!

*Disclaimer: This is a long review because we tried so many things! We had an absolutely fantastic dinner experience last night at Longhorn Steakhouse on Wall in Ogden. The manager and his staff we very warm and welcoming and did a fantastic job with our group. Appetizers came out first and we tried some of everything… * Fried green tomatoes… I’m not a tomato fan, but i tried these and they were good. Others in my group loved them along with the dipping sauce. * Wild West Shrimp was delicious and went great with the sauce provided. I ate more than I should have! * Sweet Corn Fritters… these little suckers are like hushpuppies dilledfilled with bits of corn. They were so tasty and were served with 2 different sauces, a southwest type and a cheesy dip. * Pretzel sticks with BACON honey mustard dipping sauce! These turned out to be my favorite of all the appetizers! Very thick pretzel sticks, more or less the size of large breadsticks but with a tasty pretzel-ly outside. The bacon honey mustard sauce was totally new to me and was simply amazing. If you love bacon(who doesn’t?) these are a MUST try! Salad came next and I went with the simple garden salad. It was a standard garden salad with fresh green lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes and croutons. Plenty of Bleu cheese dressing — the thick, quality kind with huge chunks of cheese throughout. Entrée time and I ordered their Garlic Outlaw Ribeye. Wow! This thing was massive and fully took up half my large plate! Seasoned perfectly but slightly undercooked(ordered medium but it was more medium-rare). Still perfectly delicious and amazingly tender for this large of a cut of meat! I could only finish half! Mashed potatoes were buttery and excellent. Finally, the desserts came out… I was so full by now, I could barely try these, but I had to push through! * Chocolate Stampede cake… a huge slice of cake with multiple chocolate layers and drizzled with nite chocolate syrup, served with vanilla ice cream also drizzled. This is a chocoholics dream! So rich and chocolate… whew! * Blueberry Lemon Butter Cake… buttery, tangy lemon cake with lemon cream and whole blueberries all over the top. As full as I was I ate a bunch of this and liked it even more than the chocolate cake! All in all, a great 5 star experience between great food and excellent wait service! If you are hungry and in the mood for great steak and large portions of everything, get down to Longhorn and check em out!

Yum yum yum! I love their wild west shrimp. It’s amazing! Their steak is great as well! I love the smoky bacon sirloin or the ribeye. Loaded baked potato is delicious as well. Management is great!

The ribeye steak was very very tender, absolutely flavorful. The strawberry salad is a specialty salad and is a full dinner plate of mixed greens, grapes, mandarin oranges, strawberries and the best raspberry vinaigrette on the planet. The fried green tomatoes had a sauce and caso cheese on them and was the best tomatoes anywhere for their full flavor and nice texture. Not mushy either. All in all a great dinner The staff was a class A act.

This was our first visit. The staff is friendly and informative. The restaurant is clean, music not too loud. My steak came out too cooked and they insisted on getting another. I would come here again.

Went this weekend on our 4th visit. Friendly waiter, great service. Food was better than the last visit, months ago. We only go there for super special occasions and the food never spoils a special time. We’ll be back. Good enough, we left a $ 40 tip. Keep it up Longhorn!

You cannot go wrong with longhorn steak house. I always order peach iced tea. The best tea i ever tasted. Pleasant atmosphere, great service, and perfect medium rare steak! Me and my husband usually order porterhouse dinner for 2, and it is delicious. The waiter mix the homemade steak sauce in a little pot with a heated rock in the bottom at the table. I just love it. I still don’t know why my husband choose A1 instead ;(

Longhorn steak house just opened in Ogden on Monday of this week, it was a new build in front of the Newgate mall. We went for lunch on Saturday, there was a pretty good crowd but not too busy. We started with the Firecracker Chicken Wraps(we got a coupon for a free appetizer by joining their club online). They were pretty good, a slightly spicy cheese sauce with bits of chicken wrapped in wonton wrappers and fried, laying on what looked to be a lettuce and tomato salad and they came with avocado dipping sauce. Two of us ordered a lunch ½ Sandwich with soup, both of us got the sliced prime rib. I got the baked potato soup it was good but not anything special, my mom got the shrimp and lobster soup and was quite impressed. The Prime rib sandwich was very tasty, plenty of meat for half a sandwich, all and all these were good lunches for a reasonable price($ 8). The wife ordered the Rancher Sirloin, a sirloin with bacon and egg, which she ordered medium. She got a medium rare which was good enough, the egg was overcooked so the yolk had set but otherwise the steak was good. Her side was the sweet potato bites, basically sweet potato tater tots in a very sweet sauce, ok but she probably will not order again. As I mentioned they just opened earlier this week so service was spotty, I assume it will get better. We had to ask a couple of times for silverware, they brought out bread but only 3 slices and never came back with the second helping they promised but otherwise OK.
