Terrible service and unsatisfactory food. Waiter seemed to ignore us for a while after we sat down. He walked by a few times before taking our orders(the place was not busy). After ordering scrambles eggs with our meals, he served us and apologized because he «forgot to have the eggs scrambled.» The eggs were essentially a hard patty. It would not have been hard to scramble a couple more eggs. The biscuits were dry and the gravy left much to be desired.

Good strong drinks! Food is ok too. It’s a no frills bar but, has a great crowd, especially on Fridays! The upholstery on some of the chairs were undesirable, ripped in half, but hey it’s kind of a dive sports bar. I have been here for breakfast and it was cheap and greasy, which is just what you would want from a place like this. Service is good, quick and friendly. I’ve never had the burger but it looks like we will have to come back and try it!

This was a neighborhood type bar. Food was not great, but not real expensive. we ordered chili burgers. Not made traditional way for me. I have had better at many places in the area. Probably will not be a place I would recommend or return to in the future.

Never been her before, but stopped in to try it out. It was the end of Monday Night Football! The TV’s are small. There were about a dozen people in the bar. Service was good drinks priced well and the bartender even asked if the mixed drink was to our liking. We split a burger and fries which was huge, easily filling us both up and very tasty.

Came here because my supervisor brought a crock pot full of their country gravy to an office potluck. Glad I went! I had the country fried steak and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Great beers on tap and excellent service, too! Highly recommended.

Best pancakes! And good lunch food. Only down side is they seem short staffed and getting out takes awhile.

First time coming here for breakfast. Food and coffee were really good. The plate sizes were just right to fill you up and the prices were pretty cheap compared to other breakfast places we have been to. Give it 4 stars just because of the service. They weren’t the friendliest. They weren’t rude either but they just never came back to our table or showed interest in their customers.

We eat here once in a while because it’s close, but we are not the«norms» of cheers and it shows in the service. The food is good and good prices, but the wait staff clearly had their faves. We saw them(only 2) wait on the bar customers, but rarely checked our table of six. I ordered at the bar because I couldn’t get the waitress’ attention as she was texting and BSing with the other bartender. They need to step it up… and we noticed a help wanted sign out front… hmmm.

We used to eat breakfast here every Sunday without fail. The food and service were excellent, a placed I’d gladly recommend to friends and family. The waitstaff and Bartenders were friendly and knowledgable. The last 3 times my husband and I have been through town we have been extremely disappointed, the service was a 1 on a scale of 1to 10. The waitstaff if you’d call them that(I’m pretty sure they have no previous bartending or waitstaff experience) are rude and extremely slow. We went in this past Friday night and the place had maybe 4 other patrons in it. There was 1 person working, and she seemed a bit overwhelmed which seemed laughable considering the empty bar. When I ordered my cocktail she didn’t know how to make it. which I found pathetic since it was pretty common. After an hour of poor service, we decided to take our business elsewhere. We went back Sunday 7⁄5 and the place was quite a bit fuller. We sat for 10 minutes before menus were brought and drinks were ordered. The same waitress from Friday was working again. When she brought our drink order out we tried to place our breakfast order she said she wasn’t our waitress. Another 15 minutes went by and another lady came by and asked us if we were going to order food. We said, «yes, if we could find someone to take our orders.» She took our order and our food was brought out promptly by the cook who I later found out is also the General Manager. I was going to comment to him, but my dining companions said he looked really busy and it didn’t really matter because we didn’t have any intention of ever returning.

Sorry guys. I have been eating here for well over 15years. I have been eating here less and less over the last year. Service has been a nightmare every time I have gone. It is beyond horrible since the remodel. I have left multiple times at lunch because I get sick of waiting 20 to 30 minutes to place an order at lunch. Hello. People have ONE hour for a lunch break and I am not going to waste 50% of my time waiting. I have had to ask for my food to go as soon as I get it because I have had to wait so long. There used to be awesome wait staff. They are gone. One last bartender/waiter remains but one person can’t cover for a whole restaurant. Today my bacon came and they might as well have brought me a charcoal briquette. I asked for a spare plate and the one that was brought was COVERED with crumbs and food bits. Whatever bread or coating is used for the French toast is horrible. It is chewy and not does not taste good. Today was mothers day, the place was at least half empty and not busy but the woman working today clearly is not a waitress and should not be. I could go on but I am not going to. I have held my tongue for the last year. It isn’t worth going any more. I used to tell people all the time how wonderful and great this little friendly neighborhood bar and grill was. Sorry. No more.

Came in on a random Wednesday with the hopes of finding some cute guys to flirt with.(Clearly I’m not from here) No such luck on the boys but I did find a super friendly waitress, a great glass of wine(or 4) and a supper yummy patty melt with fries. Also the tarter sauce was really good!!) Id come again if I had friends with me. Solo it’s kinda awkward, the bar seating is limited and was all taken before I arrived at 6. And the tables are far enough apart it’s hard to be social if your alone. That being said, the food and service was legit. I marked them down a star simply for the lack of hot guys to flirt with. #singleproblems

Definitely one of the better burgers we’ve had since moving to Washington! The boyfriend was recommended to this place by some coworkers as we continue our quest to find the most perfect burger place(similar to a place we have back home). While this place isn’t QUITE that great, they are definitely up there! The burgers were great, cooked well… The fries and onion rings were crisp… The clam chowder was a lot better than I expected from a burger joint but did need some salt… The drinks were good and strong. My ONLY complaint is that I HATE when places put olives in their potato skins. Definitely looking forward to coming back here.

Met family here for lunch since we enjoy good beer and good food. Saw the reviews and decided to give it a try. Great beer selection and our server was very knowledgeable and able to give good recommendations. As for the food, there were no complaints. Nice menu with a little something for everyone. The Grinder was superb and I’m a sucker for tator tots which came with. The burgers were good as well. Clean, relaxed atmosphere. We would definitely go back.

First time here. Went in an off peak time. Between lunch and dinner about 4 pm. The food was good. Excellent prices and tasted great. The service was a little spotty. A few people came to check on us so I wasnt sure who our waitress was. Wasnt sure how to pay we eventually had to go to the bar and pay. Not a bad joint at all. We’ll def be back.

This morning was my first time to try breakfast at Fatso’s. So, I went with my «tried and true» breakfast, that I use to gauge a «breakfast» place: «chicken friend steak and eggs», with scrambled eggs and hash browns. — When I walked in, I was the 4th patron in the place, and it took a while for the waitress to notice that there was a 4th patron. … Longer than I wanted. — On the other hand, once she noted that I was there her service was THEPERFECT balance of attention, and leaving me alone to enjoy my meal. — As for the meal: The hash browns were some of the MOSTBLAND I have EVER had. The scrambled eggs were acceptable. Nice consistency, and, for the area, average. The English muffins that I had, for the toast option, had more«black» on them than I normally prefer, but, for taste and texture, they were PERFECT. The chicken fried steak was … obviously, a frozen version. It tasted like the«school cafeteria» versions of that cut. … I’m not going to say anything bad about that because that reminds me of «home»…It was what I was looking for, on that day. The cream gravy on the steak … that is what I TRULY gauge this dish on … Unlike EVERYOTHER cream gravy in the area, it DOESN’T need salt, and only the lightest sprinkling of pepper, — I’m going back for the gravy, and the PERFECT service. It’s more«pricey» than Silver’s or the Hawk’s Prairie Bar and Grill … forget Pat’s.(Pat’s, IMHO, is the BEST value for breakfast in the area.) The gravy is worth a trip.

Honestly, I google’d «best nachos in Olympia» one time about two years ago and the results led us to this modest Bar and Grill. Once again, honestly, we only order the Nachos every time we eat here(we’re regulars), and have consistently been pleased with portion, taste, balance of cheese, and toppings to chip ratio, and for the most part, the service. The Nachos are just big enough to order one serving with two plates and share and come with two small cups per person, one with sour cream and one with salsa. If you like a little heat ask for Jalapenos.

Three of us walked in last night looking to grab a quick drink before a movie. It wasn’t super busy, but we were ignored for quite a bit by the staff for some reason. In fact, people who walked in five minutes after us were greeted and served their drinks while we were sitting there twiddling our thumbs. It took about 10 minutes for a guy who had just delivered food to another table to stop and recognize that the waitress had been ignoring us and ask for our order. Seems like everyone in the place was a regular, and my friend said the food looked good but I guess we’ll never find out because it’s such an unwelcoming atmosphere that I have no interest in returning.
