When reading reviews I always ignore anything older than 6 months, with the turnover in the restaurant industry it is not fair to judge a place on past bad service. There were a few bad reviews on here for service but I felt our service was very very good. Our waitress was attentive and our service was fast. My husband ordered a ham and cheese omelet and it looked good and he said it was very good. I ordered the bone in ham steak and was a little disappointed in it as it looks more like canned ham than what I was expecting. The hash browns were interesting as they kind of looked and tasted baked, but they were good.

Sorry but this experience was horrible. From the first greeting to walking out. Bad service, bad food. Just for example, I’ve had better fish and chips from a Gordon’s Fishermans box. I do not recommend.

The place is literally underrated. The food is delicious, the portions generous, and the service prompt and friendly. I love the atmosphere and the overall vibe of the place. It has a bit of a country theme going, with saddles adorning the walls and a unique seating arrangement that makes you feel like you’re in the living room of a big family. I moved to the Olympia area recently. Of the few locals I know here, two of them grew up with horses and I also recently attended a wedding outside a barn, so I’m willing to believe that the country vibe is actually authentic. I consider this place a hidden gem, and recommend it to anyone who will listen. This place deserves more stars.

After living here for 3 years I finally decided to give the place a try. The atmosphere is quiet and quaint and they had live music when I went. I ordered the prime rib and it was decent. I wasn’t Texas Roadhouse good, but it was better then Sheri’s. The plate that they brought my food out on was a little small but it was in the shape of a cow so the look made up for the size. The beer came in a Mason jar which was awesome! Overall it was a nice experience.

This is a great place for breakfast. Huge portions at a great price! The hostess, waitress, and manager were very polite and friendly. Added bonus… the décor is awesome. This is our new breakfast spot!

I’m finally getting around to writing this review. I wish I could give no stars because even 1 star is too much for the complete lack of service we received. I arrived with a friend to get breakfast one morning and we were ignored by the staff. No hello or anything, just completely ignored. The bartender saw us, didn’t say anything and didn’t notify anyone that we were waiting. There were no other customers besides 1 sitting at the bar. We waited for about 20 minutes for someone to come seat us or at least come acknowledge our presence until we finally just left. If you don’t want to help us, tell us to leave. Don’t let us sit there while we could be giving our business to an establishment that actually cares about it’s customers.

We came for Father’s Day and had a party of 10 with reservations. After a 45 min wait with no coffee or water we had our order taken. 15 mins later we got coffee and water but with an attitude. 30 mins later we finally got our two orders of appetizers we all had to share since we were very hungry. After TWOHOURS(there were very few other people in the restaurant) we were served our food which was good. We left a small tip to show our displeasure with possibly the most awful service we have ever had.

Great breakfast. I had chicken fried steak. Good, big portions and cheap on the wallet. Sausage gravely is awesome. Décor is all western and the servers even look the part. Service Is decent, but not excellent. My sister tells me they have a good Bloody Mary. I wouldn’t know though cause that stuff is nasty.

Tonight my husband and I paid our 1st visit to Silvers Saloon. I must say we were plesently surprised. We both had the 10oz prime rib which was cooked perfectly. There was a mix up with my husband’s salad and it was corrected quickly and the servers were extremely friendly and professional. The only thing I would change is that the horseradish was more like sourcream and was missing that kick I personally prefer with my prime rib. All in all we enjoyed the meal and the price was more than fair, under $ 40.00 for both meals and dessert! As we were leaving I saw several other menu items on other patrons tables that I can’t wait to come back and try.

I haven’t had a bad or underwhelming meal here yet. Breakfast, lunch and dinner have all been fantastic. Service is friendly and the atmosphere is very comfortable. I will say that I am not a fan, ATALL, of Country music. But you know what, it’s a restaurant named Silver Saloon, so you can’t complain. And seriously the food, drink and service off set the ambient ear hurt :)

We came here for Sunday breakfast and won’t be back. I understand this might be a fun bar after hours, but for a midday restaurant, it is very odd. First of all, the tables are random sizes so we(a family of three) were seated at a giant table that normally could fit ten. That was fine for the first part of our meal until the server put someone else at our table with us! How awkward it was to sit there trying to eat with another couple at the end of our table. We asked several times for drinks and condiments but were ignored. When our breakfast came out, one of the orders was completely wrong. The dining room was loud and the waitstaff seemed totall overwhelmed and irritated with us through most of service. Finally when we were ready to go we couldn’t even find our waitresses to ask for the check and a take home box. Not that the food was anything special that we really wanted to save, anyway.

This is great place to eat. I’ve had breakfast, lunch and dinners here. Great home cooking. Everything tastes homemade and fresh. More restaurants in the area need to abide by this standard. Too many places have ZERO homemade anyyhing.

The Stars were just for the wonderful service we had. The waitress is very friendly and fast so the stars worth the service. The restaurant itself is pretty old, tacky and a little smelly. The food was bad, we ordered homemade corned beef hash, it comes in a pan mostly just potatoes very little tasteless meat in it. It comes with two eggs. We barely taste anything in this dish and I think it’s expensive for just a bowl full of potatoes. I would not recommend this place.

I was excited to try this restaurant out with all of the great reviews but I was sadly disappointed. The food was flavorless and boring. It wasn’t busy and the waitress was very frustrated with another table which was observed by myself and my family. She was accommodating with us but the service was slow. I honestly didn’t expect to have such a horrible meal. I personally will not be going back.

Honestly love this place. I’ve had many things from the menu and all of it has been spot on. The bloody mary’s make my fiancé very happy and come with what could equate to a lovely meal on its own. We mostly come for weekend breakfast. The basics are totally solid. Eggs always cooked perfectly, bacon just the right amount of crunch, and the omelets, pancakes, or scrambles are well done. The service really sets this place apart. Attentive, friendly, and they remember you if you’ve been there more than once. For a traditional breakfast with a down home attitude, Silver’s is a great place to go!

Good restaurant for traditional, hearty American food. Can’t go wrong with a breakfast skillet or biscuits and gravy. Portion sizes are generous– I usually end up taking half of my meal home. Beware though, your family or roommates might try to steal your leftovers once they find out you went to Silvers without them. Burgers are really good. I’m guessing it’s about a 75⁄25 ground beef from all the flavor(i.e. delicious fat) in them. They are very gracious about substitutions and they’ll check with the cook about ingredients used for those with allergies or dietary restrictions. Service is just outstanding. You’re greeted with by friendly staff when you walk in and the door cowbell rings. Michelle, our usual server on weekend mornings is a hoot. She remembers the names of regulars and makes you feel like you’re having breakfast with a friend. And Stanley is one of the nicest guys I’ve met. We had a one-year old with us whose favorite game was to toss everything in reach onto the floor and Stanley made a point to come over and give him a toy boat to play with.
