We wondered in thinking we we were going to get to eat some decent food ad have a good experience. We waited at the front to be seated for 10 minutes before I asked one of the employees walking by if it was self seating or not and was told something about busboys… something something. Every employee that walked by tried very hard to avoid eye contact. Waited another 5 minutes and were about to walk out when«Joanna» seated us. I have to say, she almost made us get up and leave as her attitude was atrocious. She took our drink orders, I had a question about one of the beers and she sneered at me, gave me a look like I was an idiot, then told me she was out of that beer. So I ordered a cocktail instead. We had waters for everyone, but she didn’t give us straws, after trying to flag her down, I walked up to the bar and got them myself. After being told I was looking at the wrong menu and they were out of everything, I ordered the burger, and it was rare, I guess she never did ask how I wanted it. It came with chips and a little plastic catsup container that had melted as I guess these are under a heat lamp. Burger was edible, but hardly worth $ 15.50! This place is a trap for sure, as there is no way in hell it could stay in business if it were anywhere else. Overpriced. Bad service. Food is… meh. Cocktail tasted awful. And to top it off, they were blaring the Mexican channel. We had little kids with us, and if you’ve ever seen this channel you know it’s all cleavage and sexuality.

Nice place. More to the high end. The bar is magnificent with thick marble counters. Not a big place, very quaint. The bartender was top notch. She had the bar menu down and then some. Several Craft beers on tap and a all top shelf spirits. Service was top notch. I do not want to wait to order and waiting for my drink. She was very attentive and took care of our mid sizes group even with the hectic happy hour crowd. I ordered a beer, the Brewers Lair out of Blairsden, California. You can’t go wrong with this local regional beer. I was really surprised they had Brewers Lair on tap but then again, this is a special place, Lake Tahoe. The prices are tourist rates $$$$ but you pay for what you get. And what you get here is high end. I’ll be back.

My go to in squaw valley. Great food, real ingredients and not bar fare. Friendly service with no attitude. Bonked and tired grumpy hellion kid friendly. Dad on a mission to have a margarita friendly. Mom in dire need of a glass of that amazing pinot grigio friendly. Also I should mention they have by far the hottest hostess in the village. She’s smokin’!

Ordered buffalo and boar chili– amazing. Side of broccolini was perfectly chafed and delicious.

Went here with my family and for the most part ordered sliders, chicken sandwiches and sole pitas. The sliders and chicken was ok. I liked my sole fish pita but it wasn’t a big portion so I still felt hungry. Their French fries were really good and crispy. The ambiance was a little too dark as we had trouble reading the menus. The wait was ok to get our food and it wasn’t as bad as other reviewers mentioned and we went on a Friday night. It wasn’t expensive compared to the area. I think we’ll try more of the other restaurants while we’re here.

The hostess was great! The waitress was nice but looked miserable. All the food we ordered was extremely SALTY! They remade one side dish and it was just as salty. Overall the food was way too expensive and the discount they gave us for salty almost inedible food was 10% off! Don’t waste your money here!!!

Went for appetizers and drinks. The bar was beautiful. I loved the grey cabinetry and the carrera marble top. The bartender provided good service. Food was just ok. We had the spicy chkn wings and brussels sprouts with the fondue sauce. I’d probably just go back for a glass of wine.

Enjoyed ourselves immensely here! The gourmet tacos were amazing, as was the lava cake. Our bartender Liz was fun and very hospitable. Service was excellent! Met some cool local folks at the bar, and just had a great time overall. We will definitely be back!

What happen? It was good. Last year I noticed a change and this year it was bad. Service was so bad. Jacqueline was the server. When there are 2, then you should give 2 setting. Never received the second one from her. We then asked the busboy and received it. Chicken wings raw. Tower 16, what happened to the Tuna. I’m sad, it was a good place. Good news, it’s not the only restaurant at squaw.

Food was great. It was a good environment for the adults to enjoy their food and give the kids a bit of space, too. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating. Try the tacos and the chili!

Blah. Not good. Meh. I am not sure the right word to describe the food. I know — It’s a trap! The place was packed during lunch hours but only because it’s in the heart of The Village with a decent wine selection. The food edible and certainly curbed my hunger but I was expecting so much more. Reading the menu wet my appetite but after a few bites I was deeply disappointed. I know I’ll be back but only because of the good company and location.

The drinks and service here are good but the place is somewhat a trap. The place is crowded and loud, as well as overpriced. The menu options appear very interesting but the food was not great. At the bottom of the mountain there are a lot of options most of them fall into this category to be fair but i would recommend many of the other spots for food as it will be better or cheaper. This area itself is built for tourists and skiiers so do not expect much.

Enjoyed drinks and appetizers after a full day of skiing. Positive, laid back vibe. Decent selection of wines and beers. Enjoyed the shrimp noodle soup and poke tuna. Everything fresh and tasty. Portions were abundant, prices… well it is the Olympic Village and nothing is cheap here. Had a great server who has worked at SV for the past 20 years. Lots of good stories and info on other great restaurants in the Village. Bartenders were a bit overworked. It was early season and the restaurant was likely not staffed up to meet the demand due to the early snowffall. We were all tired from skiing so the slow service was not a big deal. Looked like a great place to hang outside and people watch. We preferred the indoor seating to the 18 degree temps outside.

What a horrible experience, 1. Slow service(extremely slow) 2. Don’t bother looking at the menu on their website, it’s not the menu they’re using. 3. They ran out of butternut squash soup. 4. The wait staff doesn’t know how the food is prepared on the menu when you ask a question. There are several other restaurants in Squaw Valley, I highly suggest trying one of them. Ohhhh look I had a nice meal at McDonald’s and they had everything I ordered with good service.(how sad for any restaurant at Squaw Valley) Don’t forget to make reservations as you will need them at any restaurant in Squaw Valley.

Came in here for happy hour because It’s literally a stone throw away from my house. Some friends and I enjoyed much of the happy hour menu. The chicken satay had a great peanut sauce to compliment the flavors. The burger was great, we did decided to add bacon and sweet potato fries. My friend tried the fried chicken sliders, which isn’t my thing but… It looked ok. The Brussels were amazing!!! Get them!!! The food was good the service was great. My major complaint: I asked for a margarita. She gave me a premium without my knowledge. At $ 11 a pop I felt kind of gouged. I’ve come in many times for a margarita and was charged an appropriate $ 9. Maybe our server wanted to give me a superior product, maybe she wanted to make a little extra money… At this point, I can’t tell. Will come back and be more CLEAR.

Great french onion soup, the cheese was perfect and the soup was perfectly salted, the house salad is so good they use mixed greens candied walnuts and wonderful dressing. My bf had the fish tacos and loved the uniqueness if all the flavors.

Showed up at 7 pm on a Saturday. The place was pretty slow. Got seated and got our drinks just fine. We ordered bacon potato donut holes and Brussel sprouts for appetizers. My husband ordered a burger and I ordered their prime rib special. Doughnut holes were not good, the dipping sauce was very bland as we’re the mashed potatoes with little bacon. The Brussel sprouts were fantastic, the fondue dipping sauce Put them over the top. The burger was average. It was marked on the menu as $ 13, but we got charged $ 20. The sweet potato fries were above average. The prime rib was tough and grisselly. The mashed potatoes were again bland. The broccillinni had a nice char on it, but no seasoning at all. The horseradish dipping sauce had barely and spice. We watched a table of 6 sit down 10 minutes after us, get all of their food 10 minutes before we did. They provided no salt or pepper on the table. The waitress seemed inattentive and aloof. We were truly disappointed. We were excited about the positive reviews, and we’re very disappointed with our experience.

In Squaw Village, very convenient if you are skiing at Squaw. Dinner for party of 6 at 4pm on a friday took 45 minutes to get seated. There are two sections — the main area has a noisy, bar like atmosphere which is great for hanging out with friends. The second area is just tables, with lots of booths, quiet & great for groups with kids. They were out of certain things on themenu but the service was great given how swamped the staff were. Our food orders did not take kong, beverages were refilled promptly and overall service was very friendly. Chopped salads were ho-hum but presentation was good. Kids meals came with a lot of thick fries, the slider was well done to a brickette. Onion soup, Crème Bruless and the whiskey cocktails were the best items on our table.
