Great place to go eat and sing karaōke on weekends. The KJ GariAnn has the best sounding equipment to make you sound your best. Hayley is the best bartender in Orange County she’s always on top of her game. They all will make you feel welcome when you come in. I give them five stars because I’ve been there several times. I can’t wait to go back.

Drink was poured decent. But the service was awful! I understand, attend to your regulars but don’t ignore/mistreat your non-regular bar patrons… I won’t be back to this establishment, but I hope the bar the best!

This is totally a local dive bar with a heart. Great drinks, and a welcoming staff. The food is good for basic bar food. Clean bathrooms every time.(Unlike a lot of other bars even upscale ones) Thanks Capri!

The food is ok. The only reason I enjoy coming to this place is because it’s never packed, has funny regulars, and never gets out of hand. The regulars here are pretty funny. The waitresses are very polite and nice and That’s a huge plus. When I come to this place It’s like watching Cheers live.

Went in for lunch. You can definitely tell there are a lot of regulars but we didn’t feel unwelcome at all. The bartender was nice. We sat in a booth. The food was decent and the service was equally as good. Prices weren’t bad. I’m sure we will be back at some point.

Everything here is amazing… I just ate the best montechristo sandwich I ever had in my life, pretty bartenders pour heavy. Sorta divey, but still real nice, they have a patio. Don’t miss it!

I have been going to café capri for about 3 years now. I enjoy the reasonable food and drinks. Just about anything on the menu is good. The place is a bit worn, could use some updating. Nice people working there, kind of family like. Lots of regulars, most 50+ but they get all ages, young and old.

Update: There is karaōke on Friday and Saturday night and it is absolutely horrible. Avoid at all costs. Sun — Thurs nights are still great.

I have to agree with Lili H. I would call this one a 3.5. My buddy felt like lunch and a cocktail today. He was buying so we slid on over to the Capri. It’s a dive bar in Orange with what appears to be a very regular crowd. The waitress/bartender was on the salty hard side, but had a good sense of humor. The bar itself looks tired and in need of some love. I probably would not come back but for the shockingly good club sandwich they served up with a fresh salad and a side plate of piping hot fries. I might just have to swing back for a burger one day soon.

This is a great place for a drink and Saturday night karaōke. The people are nice and there are always lots of regulars. Not skimpy on the pours and they have a couple of pool tables.

I’m new to the area and ventured out late one night looking for a quick drink, stumbling across Capri on my journey. Entering in is your typical dive, and was pleasantly surprised with the warmness of the bartender and patrons. As others say mostly a 40+ hang out with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Drinks are dirt cheap and strong as hell. Haven’t ventured to food but will keep you posted. Two pool tables, plenty of outdoor seating and terrible karaōke on the weekends :)

Capri is about as divey of a dive bar that you can get. The crowd is almost entirely 40+ and locals. The new bar tenders are wonderful, and the drinks are super cheap and VERY strong, which keeps me coming back. It’s a great place to catch up with friends during the week because the place is empty and quiet, and pool is only $.50

Cheap drinks. Well-priced food. Plenty of seating and space. I went there on a Saturday night. There were a lot of people there, but only one server for the entire place. The server was also the bartender. Hopefully, it’s not always short staffed.

I can’t review this place, just offering an observation. I used to go here when the sign was different and said CAFECAPRI. It was a restaurant, very tasty, but not a bar. The son of the owner was always working, he was the ex-boyfriend of my friend’s wife’s sister(got that?!) and her whole family was a bunch of sickos! The only good thing they did was tell us about the place. On Sundays there was an all you can eat brunch of Italian food and salad, and boy was it good. We went there a lot. That must have been 19 or 20 years ago, how time flies. They much have sold out. I always hoped they were still around so I could get back there and enjoy that brunch!

Love this place for karaōke on Fri&Sat!!! Good menu, and the bartender is really nice. They have pool tables also, and a great patio.

Taco Tuesdays for the prime rib tacos. DELICIOUS! Available soft or crunchy, I highly suggest getting them crunchy. They offer other foods as well, though I go for the tacos. Be warned though, it is a dive bar and it’s a «good ol’ boys» club.

More like a 3.5 I was kinda intrigued about this place since I always pass by it when going to Trader Joes, CVS etc… When we walked in all the Café Capri’s customer kinda stare at us, seems like they all know each other which goes pretty well with the divey kinda run-down ambiance. Regardless how«local» I’m to this place, seems like I stood out like a sore thumb(a yellow one mind you) We proceed to ask for the beers on tab and the bartendress, who was kinda rude to us… anyway we got our beers and the regulars went back to their business. No more staring =) Then we ordered some fried mozzarella and dumplings, which were ok, nothing spectacular but good ROI I don’t want to jump into conclusions, nor wear out my welcome over there since Café Capri seems like a good hang out and you never know when you gonna need hairs of the same dog to feel well again(aka bloody mary)… BUT After the not so friendly bartendress saw me taking pictures, and saw the Unilocal sticker that I stuck by mistake on my phone’s case, her demeanor changed completely. Something like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde… You get the idea. Maybe I’m mistaking, and all the fellow Unilocalers that commented on the tips section. I don’t know… Recommended if you like places like Cheers =)

I went for a friend’s birthday and the bartender that«helped» us more like berated us made part of the night go sour. We asked for a birthday shot, told her what the ingredients were and she looked at us like we were crazy. We said it was for the friends’ birthday and she looked disgusted and told us, not asked us, «What the hell would you want to do that for!» We said it was for the friends’ birthday and at this point the friend looked dejected and annoyed. The bartender proceeded on telling us that we should be eating birthday cake and not drinking it and that the birthday girl looked like she had never eaten solid food nevertheless any cake. WEWEREPISSED. It’s only when we offered to drink with her she got a little friendlier. Cheap shots and drinks. Worst service ever. She treated us like crap because we’re on the younger side(mid twenties). Mind you, the birthday girl and some of her friends frequent this bar and so the bartender knows them but pretends not to know them(WEIRD, right?). We were not a rambunctious crowd and were respectful to the other patrons of the bar. Seems like a fun bar, will make sure that I don’t go on the nights that dragon lady is there.

I’m not sure how I end up saying yes to going to random dive bars on a Friday night, but this is where it landed me recently. The crowd is well over the age of 55+(at least on this night) I am pretty sure I was the youngest one there. Karaōke was sung by some rather endearing well tuned patrons. Strong drinks were served and good laughs were had. I ordered a Italian sandwich that was fresh and yummy. Not sure that I will ever be back, but there are definitely worse places to hang out.
