Smashburger

The burgers are good. I don’t think they’re worth the price though. The fries are great. They are defiantly priced to be gourmet burgers especially if price isn’t really your concern. You can get better burgers at other places. MUCH better than drive thru fast food chains though! The grasshopper shake is small but good.

Today I went to smash burger for lunch and I ordered the Big bacon cheese burger & buffalo fries. It was really good, my only complain on this visit my only complain is that a lot of fries were really small pieces, like the bottom of the barrel, but I still picked and ate a bunch of them because they tasted so good.
The manager came by at the beginning of the meal to make sure everything was good and we said yes, then he gave us a bunch of coupons for a free side on our next visit.

The last time i was here it was incredibly busy as it was a Saturday. I would definitely recommend going here — or eating out in general — on a Sunday. Just because it’s Utah, the roads and the few stores that are open on Sundays are clear.
In terms of food, I always get the Beehive: the haystack onion rings are thin, crispy, and never too greasy.
Smash fries are light and have a nice light seasoning to them. The Buffalo fries are my favorite, but instead of ranch I’d suggest getting the chipotle dip instead.
Service: the longest I’ve waited, even with a full restaurant, was 15minutes. You can tell they’re trying to satisfy each guest and they’re working quickly.

Definitely much better than five guys but still nothing extremely special. I got a black bean burger with mustard, spinach, onions, pickles, tomato, mushrooms and goat cheese. I like the topping options they had, which were a good quality, and the black bean burger tastes like they made it there (very cool!). However the black bean burger was pretty bland, so it’s a good thing I loaded it with a bunch of other veggies. The multi-​grain bun was also good. I also got the vegetable frites but they were extremely oily and overly salted. I had to wipe them off with numerous paper towels and even then I didn’t enjoy them. My husband got the beehive burger (UT special burger) and substituted for a multi-​grain bun, along with sweet potatoes fries and both were very enjoyable. The people working there were also very friendly and service was great. The price also seemed very reasonable.

Great burgers and fries. The only complaint is that they don’t come in Combo meals. Not enough to keep me from coming back though.

The guy that took my order was rude when I was ordering my food. He made me feel dumb for not having a perfect knowledge of the menu. Like sorry I don’t study this menu whenever I have a spare second haha. Then after I ordered, a family with kids came in and ordered a couple bacon cheeseburgers. You could literally hear the chef yelling «why do these kids need so much fcking bacon.» Haha it was a funny experience to say the least

Meh… The burger was dry and flavorless, just covered with cheese and sauce. I’ll go to Five Guys instead. Also, the cashier was complaining about customers coming in 30 minutes before closing. As if he’s not getting paid to work there.

This place has never disappointed me. The hamburgers are great, the vegetables are good, the fries are thin and crispy (a bit unique). They also have plenty of interesting options including the over-​easy egg. It’s always a winner with usually good service.

Definitely some interesting burger combinations. The onion straws are amazing, service is super fast, and very casual and clean.

Waited 15+ minutes for 2 burgers and they weren’t even busy. Watched 2 burgers sit under the heat lamp for over five minutes. I finally asked somebody if they lost my order. They then proceeded to bring me the 2 burgers that had been sitting there under the heat lamps. Fries were not hot, despite what you might think a heat lamp will do.

Loved Smashburger! Love the chicken sandwiches as well as the hamburgers! The only thing I would change about this place is the shoe string fries, they are very greasy and sometimes too greasy and soggy to eat. So I usually get the sweet potato fries which are amazing! And very friendly staff!

I’ve eaten at smash mouth twice now at two different locations.
Tried three different hamburgers all were exceptional in their own right.
Their fries are truly amazing that would be the smash fries.
This is a place I’d be happy to stop in anytime.

This location has gone downhill its very dirty tables are not clean there is food all over floor and seats. The current management is not taking care of it. Fist time i saw it like this t though it may be abad day but its been like this on multiple occasions and its not busy. Food seems fine though but still scary

Just went in for a treat. Had the sweet potato smashfries and an onion haystack plus a chocolate milkshake. All very good. This was my first time but I plan to go back and try a burger sometime.

Yeah. Not worth it either. They were really rude when I cane in at 9:50 pm saying theywe’re closed.
$ 11 for a crappy burger that was all grease, they got my order wrong and DIDN’T give me another, just fixed the top (I’m allergic to onions!) And the fries were dry and there were gross black and brown pieces that were soggy too.
The only good thing was the avocado. Hmm.

First time going to smash burger. at the register had very friendly service.
i got my food to go. i got back to my work and when i opened the wrapping to my burger it looked like it was all thrown together, i had the avocado burger. and witch all the avocado was sliced but in a big clump in the center of the burger. it looked ery messy with some weird sauce and everything else thrown on as well. i moved the lettus and there was a CRAP load of mayo. i ended up having to wipe off ¼ cup of it off.

The food here was decent but not amazing. I felt like they made a bigger show than the food deserved. Good décor but a little pricy for the quality. I think Carl’s Jr or Hardee’s has better burgers.

This is my favorite burger place. Sure it’s more expensive than other joints, but it’s definitely worth the money. You get what you pay for here. My favorite thing to get is the beehive burger, if you get it big it will most likely fill you up. Their shakes are awesome as well. I’m indifferent with their fries, but still better than average. Overall I give this place a 9 out of 10. Better than in n out, and give guys, but more expensive, still definitely worth it!

I love Smashburger.
This location maintains the same level of greatness that I expect from all smashburger locations. Excellent staff, excellent food, and an overall great experience.
Typically, I go with a Build your Own big smash. I love the wheat bun, pepperjack cheese, and some added bacon. If you have room, grab some fried and a milkshake. Both are fantastic. The burger tastes very home made which I personally love. You can tell that it is a quality patty, and it is usually seasoned very well.
I find myself waiting a little longer than I typically like to for my food, but it is worth it. The burgers always come out hot and fresh, and the fries are always cooked to perfection. Sometimes I feel like the burger and fries is a little expensive, as I usually spend around 10+ dollars for lunch. But hey, you get what you pay for. The quality is there.
A bit of advice, grab a soda. The water here tastes terrible. I have been 5+ times and it wasn’t just a one time thing — it tastes like tap water from a third world country.
I definitely recommend smashburger over most burger places in utah county. If you haven’t been here already, give it a shot and you wont be disappointed.

So, this place made me sad, because it was good food and quick service. The burger, while not the best I’ve ever had, was head and shoulders above most fast food. I enjoyed the shoestring rosemary fries, and the Oreo shake was top-​notch creamy and (even more important) drinkable — an oasis in a city with concrete shakes you have to dig out with a spoon.
But I’m not going to return because my meal — regular burger, fries, and soda — was almost $ 12 with tax. For one person that’s kind of ridiculous. I literally got a steak and two sides at Texas Roadhouse last time for less than that. And the portion sizes were relatively small too. Honestly, I left kind of hungry still Again, Five Guys remains the champion in my book.
