Jesse the owner is a great guy. I had a unique situation today that required a last minute delivery. Jesse went out of his way to make the order and deliver it. I can’t thank you enough for all you did. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is wonderful to have a business like this servicing the community. Please consider using Jesse’s Great American Bagel for all your catering needs. The food is fantastic and location is extremely clean. This has become a Sunday morning ritual… partly because of the great selection of bagels and partly because of the amazingly friendly guy at the counter who I believe is the owner.

Went in there to get soup at lunchtime, the man behind the counter that served the soup, rang up the order on the register, and handled cash, kept his gloves on the entire time and did NOT put fresh gloves on to prepare the next customer’s order. Yuk! That was all I needed to see to make that officially the LAST time I get lunch there. When I returned to the office, my co-​worker mentioned that he also felt that the counter staff lacked proper sanitary food handling. Too bad, because the food is good.

I love bagels, and I love a place that has a variety of different flavors. I’ve never actually been in this location– my husband usually goes and picks up the bagels and brings them home on Sunday mornings. We’ve tried a number of different flavored bagels and flavored cream cheeses. The bread is always soft and fresh. I once tried a pizza bagel which was delicious. One time, my husband even brought home doggy bagels for the dogs! He said the staff is always very friendly.

Stopped in for breakfast after hearing great reviews from my coworkers, and now I know for myself how delicious this place is. They have an awesome menu. I started w/​the asiago bagel w/​vegetable cream cheese toasted and it was delish. All the items are freshly made and with quality ingredients.

Me and my boyfriend went here for the first time yesterday just to grab a quick something to eat and the woman who was working (unfortunately we did not get her name) could not have been more friendly and sweet. It was so great to see someone who enjoyed her job so much and was so personable to the costumes. Keep her around she was wonderful

We only gave 1 star because of the service/​owner. The food is excellent. We love the bagels, cream cheese, etc. We believe she is the owner. She isn’t sociable at all. No matter what we say or do, she isn’t pleasant at all. Don’t get me wrong. It’s not us. We tried and tried to be pleasant. I think it must hurt her to crack a smile. She is only nice to the people she knows. Even though she has seen us come into her establishment before. I would rather pick up the food and eat it somewhere else.

Surprised to find no review of the GAB… they have been here a long time. Excellent selection of bagels (about 18 different) for every taste… they even have bagel bones for dogs. Sells a dozen different cream cheeses too. Nice offering of bagel sandwiches (more than a dozen), which really extends their menu. I like the breakfast sandwiches — my choice is the egg bacon and cheese on a toasted plain (about $ 3.50). My kids like the ham sandwich and the California turkey … the former gets it plain and the latter gets it with light cucumber cream cheese. You can dine in, seating for about 30. You can get trays of sandwiches for a carryout treat. Lots of choices… give it a try.
