As far as delivery Chinese goes, this was pretty terrible. Took an hour for delivery, despite being right down the road. I ordered their«bang bang shrimp» mainly because I LOVE Bonefish Grill’s version. This was dry, cold battered shrimp on a pointless bed of iceberg chunks. For $ 7, I expected something decent, but I was wrong. It came with a cheap knock off bang bang sauce on the side, that was really just mayo with the slightest hint of spice. They were so dry and bland that we only ate a few of them. The egg drop soup was your standard run of the mill soup. No real complaints there, except it was pretty bland and not at all hot. The egg roll was the same. Decided for my first experience to try the general tso, as it is a staple of Chinese American delivery. Much like the other dishes, it was lukewarm. I requested for«very spicy», what I got was no spice at all. The entire dish was drowning in a thick syrupy sauce, that had no heat or real flavor to it. Very disappointing. Won’t be ordering from here again.

If I could give this place a negative start rating I would. Delivered my food after an 1.5 with a 40 minute to 1 hour window estimated(not a huge deal) but my food was terrible. I ordered honey chicken and received dry breaded chicken that looked like nothing I’ve ever ordered before. My lo mein tasted like it was cooked with seafood and the noodles were incredibly soggy. The worst lo main and honey chicken I’ve ever had! Very disappointed! The egg drop soup and fried dumplings were ok. The best part– when I called to inform them I wasn’t happy her response was: «I know the egg drop soup and the dumplings are ok.» Implying they knew the other part to my order was not up to par.

I was not in a happy mood when I arrived because I popped into Steak n Shake because I was in the mood for a one of their burgers and a bowl of their chili but after waiting for over 15 minutes for someone to take my order, I left. I had Chinese for lunch so I was not really in the mood for Chinese for dinner so NOTHING on the menu popped at me. After about 10 minutes I decided to give the Seafood Delight a try along with some of their yummy Spring Rolls and a bottle of water to wash it down. Yes, I know I usually get tea but I was at Vespr all afternoon drinking tea and the last thing I wanted was more tea… My Spring rolls were brought to me with my water and as usual, they were piping hot and golden brown. I had to let them cool for a bit and just a little bit of soy sauce on them makes me happy. Now for the Seafood Delight… The portion was very nice and I was only able to eat about half of it. The flavor was good but my only two complaints are that the lobster was a tad bit overcooked and they used imitation Krab instead of REAL Snow Crab. If you are going to use REAL lobster and REAL shrimp and REAL Scallops… Use REAL Snow Crab as well. It was still good but the addition of REAL Snow Crab would have made a huge difference in flavor!!! MY wife and many in her office are regulars here for lunch. One… They are close to Research Park so it is convenient. Two… They usually have the order ready and waiting when they arrive… Three… The food is CONSISTENTLY good. Nothing is more annoying than going to a place and the quality of the food varies visit to visit. The Egg Drop Soup, Hot n Sour Soup, Spring Rolls and wings are things my wife and I order on a regular basis and have yet to have had a complaint. I have had several of the other items on the menu and NONE of the choices have disappointed me.

We just moved into the area so this was our first time here. With only five Unilocal reviews, we weren’t sure what to expect. I am pleasantly surprised. With a large family, I had a large order. After finishing up my order, she told me the total. It was clear that I wasn’t expecting the order to be $ 65.00. She asked how many I was feeding and helped me get the price down to fifty bucks by making substitutions and other suggestions. Any place putting customer service ahead of initial profit has already made me the happiest customer around. Naturally I was already happy when we sat down to eat. It could have been mediocre food and I would have been happy, but the food was excellent. The egg rolls were deep fried perfectly, not at all greasy. The Krab Rangoon had a nice flavor, and were well stuffed. The rice and noodles were flavorful, and not overly salty like many take out places. The beef and broccoli were tender and not mushy. The sesame chicken had a pleasant sweetness, but not overly syrupy. So while this place may not be gourmet food, it is the best take out I have had in a long time, if not ever. We are happy with this place and will gladly return here.

Best Chinese food around this area. Ive tried them all near by and usually there is something I don’t like. I ordered a decent amount of food from here and it was amazing! Pork fried rice was amazing, lots of flavor. The honey chicken and sweet and sour chicken was full of flavor too. I also got a couple of other things. Oh, the sesame chicken I usually don’t like it at most places here I have to say is my favorite. China wok do not change!

Won’t be back. Got chicken noodle and rice soups to go. Broth is heavy and oily, and bland and chicken rubbery, crispy noodles stale.

I’ve been coming to this little takeout place for the past few months for their lunch specials. I make it a point to try as many of the 40 or so offered. The ingredients are fresh, portions are generous, only $ 6.35 out the door! Definitely worth considering for takeout. The owners are from Fuzhou, China. Fuzhou cuisine is one of the four subsets of Fujian cuisine, which is one of the Eight Great Traditions of Chinese cuisine. Fuzhou cuisine’s taste is light compared to other styles, often with a mixed sweet and sour taste. Fuzhou is famous for its soups.
