Vinnie’s pizza is no more. Unfortunately the taxes and the mood to retire got the best of Vinnie. surly will be missed.

Great pizza Vinnie. Been a long time since I last had it, but so good. We went here to feed a crew while visiting my parents. Got two pizzas. A sausage and green pepper; and an eggplant and onion. The crust was perfect, crisp and chewy(both). Surprisingly, the eggplant and onion was the better of the two. Vinnie stocked me up with enough granulated garlic to cover several pizzas. Sorry I had to break the news to Vinnie that the fig tree that he was patiently cultivating would never bear edible fruit. It is, it fact, a ficus(technically a fig) that would never bear anything but something that only resembles a fruit. Good luck with that. Highly recommend. Small place with character and awesome pizza.

I grew up right across the street. After college I’ve moved all over the country, and whenever I go back to visit Ossining, it’s to visit my mom… and to eat Vinnie’s pizza.
