All you can eat is a ripoff. If you don’t eat every last grain of rice… and I mean every last one… then you are cut off. Very condescending to make a customer pick up literally one grain of rice and eat it. They also tried to charge me for alacarte vs all you can eat when I left some rice on my LAST piece and didn’t order anything else. Stay away.

If there’s 0 star, that’s what I would of gave to this place. We went in party of 4, including my 2 teenage boys. No seats available since its a very small place except for the counter, so we sat in front of the chefs, which turn out to be the owners. It’s own by 2 Korean guys. Starting from our first order, everything was soooo packed with rice it’s unbelievable. Our eel hand roll has a piece of eel at the top, but it’s was nothing but all rice all the way to the bottom. When it first arrived, my son said wow, it’s the biggest handroll l he’s ever seen. Well, we learned why really quickly. The rice ratio was ridiculous, I mean we still pay 23.00 per person, it just not call for. After our second round in, when my son wants to order one more sushi, they told him no, that everyone have to finish everything on our plate before he can order again. Really? I eat much slower then my kids, and now he has to wait till I’m finish to get more food? And I’m paying for this bad customer service? And their show no respect for my son??? We now truly appreciate our sushi join back home in Corona, which its top notch at a lower price compare to this joke place. I will never go back and warn everyone to have low exception for this place. I’m in the food service industry, and people like that has no business owing a ayce sushi place. Can’t understand the good reviews here but again, it’s in Palm Desert, not much choice here and nothing to compare to. When it comes to ayce sushi, we here in IE have it make for sure.

Service is five stars, they really are on top of things even when the restaurant was packed full! They too very good care of me, and thats very important. I felt like an old time regular customer, and it was my first visit. Rice to fish ratio is high, so be aware. The rice is nice and warm, which is the way its supposed to be served. Too many people are used to cold rice and cold fish, its supposed to be warm rice and cool fish. Go to Albertsons supermarket if you want cold rice. I did the all you can eat, and it was all I could eat. Salmon was particularly good, and the hand rolls quite excellent. I’m a fan and highly recommend. Good service, thanks Haru Sushi and Thomas!

This place is the best! Great and friendly service with great food! The all you can eat $ 25 and comes with so many choices from cut rolls to hand rolls to sushi pieces. The variety is great and makes for an interesting and delicious meal. My family and I come to this place for the hospitality and amazing quality food. This is a must try!

I think we ordered all the rolls because they are yummy!!! This is the best ‘all you can eat’ place cuz you can order from entire menu not just 5 rolls! I love this place!

I’ve been to this sushi place for awhile now and finally decided to do a review. I can say that it is getting better and better. Service has improved and food quality. I always do the AYCE which is Monday-Friday 11:30am-2:00pm $ 23.95 lunch and $ 25.954:30pm-9:00pm dinner. Saturday 11:30am-2:00pm $ 25.95 lunch and 4:30pm-9:00pm $ 25.95 dinner.

Excellent sushi(coming from a girl who never liked sushi for years)! Staff is friendly and attentive. They make you feel welcome. I stopped by for takeout tonight and one of the staff was casually playing acoustic guitar. It was such a great ambiance. Their everything roll is yummy! Don’t miss it.

By far the worst sushi place I have ever been to. Everything was disgusting, even the salad. The fish tasted like rubber, I got really sick after eating there. This place was knowingly serving spoiled food. Absolutely outrageous.

Fantastic food! Very friendly staff! I had the sushi combo number two, which was wonderful. The spicy pork was terrific… One of my friends had it and loved it! Nice atmosphere and easy parking. I lived in Japan and eating their food made me nostalgic for my time there. I will definitely come back again soon!

Love this place! I’ma big sushi person. Very good, I love there lunch box. I go to lunch there with some co workers so they always get our orders right… timing is good. The only thing is they hire new ppl kind of often, there’s a new waitress or waiter but other then that great place for some sushi.

We were recommended this place by a local from town at the Westin. We drove about 3 miles, which also gave us a chance to check out the cool places Palm Desert has to offer. We had the Vegas roll, the everything roll, miso soup, edamame and the dynamite! The dynamite was my favorite! It was a bed of rice with scallops and crab meat baked with mayo and some other sauce. It was so delicious! Between the two rolls, may favorite was the Vegas roll. It was really hot in temperature, but the taste was great! We ended with a sake flight! Which I have never seen before. All of the same was great. If ever in town again. I will definitely stop by again.

Came here on Monday for a date. It was my first time visiting Haru at their new location. Old location was small and this is a small place too. We did the AYCE dinner. Everything tasted delicious and fresh. It was my date’s first time ever eating at Haru and he liked it very much. One of my fav sushi places here in the desert hands down. My only gripe was the piano music they were playing. Made me anxious and sleepy at the same time. Doesn’t help with the food coma that you fall into after stuffing your face with deliciousness.

Came in for a quick meal before work. Tried their Philadelphia Roll and also had a Salmon Hand Roll. Before my visit, I had never heard of a hand roll, do I had to try. Great way to take your sushi on the go! As far as taste, everything was delicious, absolutely no complaints. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Very affordable too!

Very friendly atmosphere, great deal on the all you can it. They have a nice selection, unlike some all you can it sushi spots. I really like there Salmon skin hand roll.

They have all you can eat sushi dinners for about $ 25. But we opted for a la carte. We had tuna and yellowtail sashimi. The cuts were tender and sweet. The yellowtail was the belly portion that made it more flavorful. We also ordered the Everything Roll, Volcano Roll, Spider Roll, and Amaebi. The rolls were perfectly done and scrumptious. Most of all, the service is very friendly. The restaurant is clean. The toilets are also clean. We will definitely come back.

The restaurant itself is small but quite comfortable for smaller groups. The service was superb. They went above and beyond to help us with our selections and also a drink spill. They even taught my friend how to use chip sticks. For one roll it took less time that it took me to write this review. We are big fans of the pizza baked roll, las Vegas and the mango roll. Overall this was a great place to eat and we will definitely come back the next time we’re in town.

This is a wonderful place which I treat myself to a sushi lunch at least once a week now. It is so yummy and I think family run. It’s a small location but the sushi is awesome and they are really friendly. I like the #2 combo which comes with soup and salad or all the specialty rolls that I’ve tried are great too. My favorite is the Spicy Tuna or the Rainbow roll. Sitting at the sushi bar is fun when I go to lunch alone because everyone is so friendly. I can also get in/out quickly when I’m in a hurry too.

Good, affordable sushi, nice people working there. All you can eat deal, if you like. One of the best Miso soups I ever had, and I don’t like Miso :) Lots of food for a reasonable price, $ 23 gave a sushi/roll combo that would have been more than enough for one, a second roll of 8, Miso soup and a small salad.
