I came here once last Labor Day and had a good experience. However tonight was a complete disappointment. We arrived to find the bar full so we took a place on the patio. We were fully aware of the heat but figured with drinks it would be all good. Our last trip we sat on the patio and it was lovely! Unfortunately we never had the opportunity to find out after sitting for 25 minutes and not even being offered water we thought it be best to take our business else where since Sullivan’s clearly did not have time to serve us.

We had a fantastic meal here! When we first walked it, we were honestly worried. It was 125 F out, and their AC was broken in their dining area. It was pretty warm inside. Their staff immediately worked to move us to the bar area where the AC was working. It was SO nice of them. I can imagine it was frustrating for them to have to re seat guests. Everyone stayed friendly and helpful. They even brought us fresh, warm bread at our new table.(By the way, their bred is delicious!) For the meal itself, they have tons of options. A lot of times at steak houses, I find that the menu has a lot of the same items listed with only slight variations. Their menu has a lot of variety, and everything we ate was delicious. Our server and the manger stopped by repeatedly to check on us. I really loved how hard everyone worked to keep the guests happy! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a manager on the floor working as hard as theirs was. To top off a fantastic meal, they surprised us with a delicious dessert since we were celebrating with family. They then took a picture of all of us and returned a few minutes later with a printed version of the photo and a hand written card. It was an incredibly nice, personal touch that made the night so much more memorable.

My husband and I went to Sullivan’s on our 25th anniversary and were treated like royalty! Our server, Blake was phenomenal, once he found out it was our anniversary he left and came back with red and white rose petals and tossed them on the table and chuckled, saying it was there to make the dinner more romantic and it certainly did! The wine list is extensive, so we needed help in picking out a wine, so Blake then suggested a wonderful wine from Sonoma, it was one of the best I’ve had and it paired quite nice with our meal. I ordered filet mignon and my husband ordered salmon and each was cooked to perfection. At the end of our meal, Blake took our photo and gave it to us in a card with the signatures of all the staff, too sweet! All in all, it was the perfect place to celebrate 25 years of marital bliss! Thanks again to the staff, the chef and our fabulous server, Blake for making it an evening to remember!

Went here again the other day for happy hour at the bar. It was at a slower time on Saturday. Had a great time with some of the family and friends. Try the loaded tots, if you like tater tots you will love these! I really enjoyed them! Also had the bar burger, unfortunately it was extremely overcooked, couldn’t finish it, but our waitress handled the situation perfectly. I was very impressed by the service we received, Laura was our waitress, she did an awesome job, and displayed great customer service skills. Will definitely be back again soon.

Had dinner here tonight and it was the best! I had the Summer Fling with a small filet, small lobster tail and crab cake. My steak was cooked to perfection and was very flavorful. Service was excellent; someone was always stopping by to make sure everything was good, including the dining room manager. To top it off they gave us gift cards for $ 20 off our next visit. Card is good until the end of summer, so we will be back for sure.

My husband and I went here for restaurant week. We liked that all the waitresses had black patterned hose. It was a little loud but not bad. Our steaks were ok. The loaf of bread they brought out flattened out under the knife when we tried to slice it. The dessert was so sweet that neither one of us could finish ours(chocolate cake and key lime pie.) It makes my teeth ache to think of it now. Service was good but nothing was outstanding. Ok, just not great.

I’m so glad to have discovered Sullivan’s! The staff here went above and beyond to provide an exceptional first time experience. We were celebrating a special event Memorial Day weekend and were catered to as if we were the only diners in the entire restaurant. Zach was absolutely attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. The food was superb. We enjoyed the filets, lobster tail, gnocchi and ended the night with bananas foster bread pudding. No complaints whatsoever; Sullivan’s and staff are the best at what they do. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Palm Desert area looking for a nice place to celebrate or a date night getaway. A big thank you to everyone who made it such a great experience.

We celebrated our engagement last night at Sullivan’s. The bar was a great time and the live band was fun. The calamari was outstanding. Then we had dinner in the dinning room and the whole staff took great care of us. They brought us champagne on the house, deserts, a card, everything. We will be back. Thanks for a great evening!

First time to the Palm Desert area, looking to celebrate our anniversary at a nice steakhouse. Based on reviews we chose Sullivan’s and they didn’t disappoint. My wife and I both had filets, white cheddar Au gratin potatoes and grilled asparagus. The facility was comfortable and inviting, with a modern classy feel. The food was great, timing of the courses was perfect. Our waiter Glen and the entire staff made the experience amazing.

This was my first time at Sullivan’s and it is now one of my favorites. The customer service is excellent. The wait staff is extremely attentive and they were so wonderful to our party as we were celebrating a birthday. The French onion soup was the best. It had ample amounts of cheese. I also recommend the mushrooms side dish. The mashed potatoes taste more like horseradish than anticipated but are very good, especially if you like horseradish. The steaks are prepared perfectly! They offer dressings for the meats but it’s not needed.

Excellent dinner date! Food was finger-licking-good, but no finger liking please, this place is fancy! At first glance we were confused by the loud music & bar scene until we realized there is a quiet dinning room inside. Whew! Our waiter Nora was Excellent! Gave us great food recommendations, was lively & giggly & flirty(in a cute kinda way). She visited us on our table regularly to make sure everything was great. Service was on point all around. We noticed the attentions to detail for the other tables as we sat in front of the wine cellar facing the entire restaurant. The manager stopped by & chit chatted with us. Oysters for appetizers, YUM! It turns out that it may be OKAY to order oysters on a non«R» month… so glad we did. YUM! I tried the 6oz Filet on the prefixed menu. It was SOGOOD! The meat was tender & cooked medium, just right. The Mash Potato it was served over was very good too. The bread here is amazing. The mac & cheese O-M-G! The Porterhouse on the bone steak was tasty but too chewy, I would skip that next time. Onion Soup was perfect! Dessert was sooooo good! And just because we were celebrating Thursday, we got a nice photo souvenir. Would definitely be back! Thank you! Especially to Nora

Returned to Sullivan’s Steakhouse last evening with Friends for another outstanding Dinner. The Staff is always extremely nice and they make us feel welcome and appreciative of our business. Our Waiter, Richard, did a fine job of serving us last night. We were celebrating our moving into our brand new home in Rancho Mirage, and we will definitely be back to Sullivan’s ! Rob & Art

In Palm Desert for the first time, so our gracious guest took us out for dinner! Had an amazing meal, We all ordered NY Strip steaks, and a few appetizers to share. This place was amazing, the steaks came out with this buttery garlic sauce on top which just made the steak even better! They were cooked exactly as I asked. I’m not a huge«got to have a steak» when I go out, but this was just a great selection. So will definitely recommend it to anyone who is on the fence. We shared calamari and seared ahi tuna. I really enjoyed the calamari for the presentation, it was unique and just overall a great choice. Wasn’t really chewy or had an overbearingly seafood taste. I’m not a huge ahi tuna person, but my wife and friend both thought it was great. Liked cucumber salad that came with it. The meal was top notch! This place is great, great value, and comes with a GREATCOST! So it’s not your neighborhoods Applebee’s! However, if you want to have a place with a great steak, I say come here! The Atmosphere here is very very nice! Classy is probably the word I’d say. I’m sure there are many Anniversaries, Birthday dinners, graduations dinners, and«BIGDAYINYOURLIFE» events that goes on here. So expect the full 5 Star treatment. Customer Service was excellent. Our server was great, couldn’t have for anything more. He catered to our every need, but wasn’t there every 2 seconds. Its located near a shopping center, so parking is good and well light. No issues there. Overall, I highly recommend this place if your in the Palm Springs/Desert area!

We had reservations for 6:30 for 4 and we were left standing until 7:20p. A party of 5 came in and were seated immediately. The service was terrible. No offer of water or drinks. We were ignored. Our food order didn’t arrive until 40 minutes later. No offer of more bread or more water. We will never return.

Well for dinner this evening, my Mother and some friends from work were in town for their final night. We walked by Sullivans on the way to another restaurant that ended up being full and over an hour wait on a Tuesday! I told my Mom that it must be good when there is such a long wait and at Sullivans, there was no wait and now I know why. First off, we were greeted pleasantly by the hostess, sat at a table right away, got a round of water and a loaf of warm bread. That was the start to a hopefully wonderful dinner. I ordered their Prix Fix menu for $ 42. Started off with the calamari, that was very tasty, but too spicy for my Mom. Then I ordered the wedge salad, chopped and tossed. It came out as a normal wedge. I had to send it back to get chopped and tossed, came back and was OK, very basic. For my entrée I got the 6 oz Filet Mignon medium with asparagus. As you can see in the pic, there were 4 charred pieces of asparagus and the 6 oz Filet was about the size of a golf ball. As I cut into it, it was pretty tough, not what I was expecting at all. Then when I got to the center, it was literally raw, slightly warm to the touch. The waiter was nowhere to be seen, so I was just eating around the golf ball. A man who appeared to be some type of manager came up to the table and asked how was dinner and I asked him if this looked medium to you. He said no and offered to have to cooked some more, I said no thank you since it did not taste well in the first place and by this time it was half the size and pretty much pointless to send it back and cook it some more. So bread was good, calamari was good and everything else was pretty much a fail. My Mom ordered the special of the day which was a Halibut with some sauce on it that I did not hear. Well, I tried some of it and the fish was slightly warmer than room temperature and had zero flavor. I tried the sauce that was on top and all I could tell you that it was kinda creamy tasting, nothing that I would of thought was prepared by a chef. Needless to say, she had a hard time finishing it and I dont blame her. For dessert we ordered crème brûlée. I asked if it came with berries or any fruit, the waiter said no. So I asked if we could get blue berries and raspberries and he said sure. Well it came out burnt and brought strawberries instead of raspberries. Funny thing is on Sullivians website, the picture shows blueberries, raspberries, strawberries and some green garnish, dusted in powered sugar, nothing like what I was served. The waiter dropped the ball quite a few times from forgetting bread, after I was finished with my martini, he just took the glass and didnt ask if I would like another one, took all out silverware and ended up using the same fork as I did with my calamari and salad. Brought out their heavy steak knifes and took away the other smaller ones. My mom had a difficult time with a huge steak knife trying to cut an undercooked piece of fish. So for almost a $ 250 dinner it was probably one of the worst meals and experiences for dollar I have had in a long time. So please choose wisely, my pictures were from my personal experience. Would add half a star for the fresh bread and calamari, but the overall experience for the whole table was 1 star.

Came here when Mastros was fully committed and booked. Hostess was nice and seated us immediately. Décor was nice but unexpectedly different from most high end steakhouses. Server we had was a young Latina girl who while competent, kept pointing out to us the«bargains» which the wife felt was unprofessional. Cocktails were good! The food was a mixed bag. Oysters had a funky flavor to them. We ordered the prie fixe menu with the cheesesteak egg rolls which were ok, lobster and shrimp bisque which was good, Caesar salad average, and shrimp cocktail was passable despite a very sad presentation. The New York steaks were cooked perfectly and tasted good, but wasn’t a fan of the blue cheese butter which sat in a ramekin of what appeared to be oil. Wouldn’t come back although not a Bad experience.
