The parking lot entrance is not easy to see. The parking lot is small, so be prepared to park on the street. The entrance is decorated with balloons on Valentine’s Day. The wait is quite long after 11am. The dining area is small. Our hostess put us in the back room. It was too warm. The air conditioned air does not exist in the back. The air was stale and stuffy. The Belgium waffle combo was good. A reg OJ is $ 3.89 but the glass is smaller than our water glass. The syrup level was low. Our waitress wanted to rush us out. Not so good service. Hmm. I would be a fool to come back to this IHOP.

I’ve been going to this location for as long as I can remember. The customer service has been progressively declining with every visit. I went yesterday and the waiter was nice but he was extremely over worked! He was the only waiter in the whole restaurant. We waited 20 mins just to get water. And you could hear the cook in the kitchen laughing at him because the restaurant was filling up faster than he could help everyone. It’s just sad that such a large chain doesn’t have better protocol. Eventually the manager came out and helped but it was a mild effort at most. I just feel sorry for the overworked waiter.

I went here a few days ago around 8pm, and although the Hispanic lady gave me a look like, what are you doing here(not a smile or a polite welcome), «I replied hello, I’d like to order to go please«. She then lightened up and said oh OK, and gave me a menu. One minute later a white lady walked up, smiling, friendly, welcoming, and asked if she could help me. I was totally relieved. I believe her name began with a «V». So she then took my order and was very detailed, asking me where I wanted the blueberries, or the whip cream. She even gave me the whip cream in a second bag so it wouldn’t get warm on my way home. She was just really attentive and caring! Now the other lady in the beginning wasn’t necessarily rude. She just was not welcoming with the look she gave me. The look said, «what do you want here? « I was l thinking, «really?» Thank goodness for the last lady who actually took my order as the other lady went to place silverware in napkins.

Nice breakfast on a Sunday morning. Typical IHOP– nothing more, nothing less. Service began well, but the crowds arrived during our meal and then it was hard to find our waiter. Everyone was very friendly and attentive until 10:00 am, so try to come early for a more pleasant experience. Read the menu thoroughly! Some things come with a ton a food for around $ 10, and other meals are a la carte for a premium price, such as basic french toast or flavored pancakes. Why are four a la carte chocolate chip pancakes the same price as a meal with bacon, sausage, ham, eggs, hash browns, and two pancakes? Crack the code and order well for a great value. Bonus: Open 24 hours! Good late night spot! Tip: Chocolate chip pancakes rule! Upgrade your plain pancakes in a meal combo for a great way to start the day with some sugary splurge goodness!

Its always very busy and feels overcrowded where it’s not even comfortable. My pancakes tasted undercooked and bacon was too salty. Next time I’ll just go to carrows, its cheaper there too

Came in with my birthday certificate and they did not accept it because it had the Anaheim location. It’s a corporate store. You would think they would make the acceptation? Oh well giving a three star because I love the service at night I just don’t dig on the service provided by the manager in the mornings.

9-6-2014 Well, given it was a Saturday, we were able to walk in and be seated about 10 minutes later! A window seat at that, facing Arroyo! It was quite noisy with it so full, and people waiting outside and in to be seated. My Crepes were basic but good, the food came about 15 minutes later, so no qualms there! It’s fun, and open 24 hours if you can’t sleep, need to study, or have somehow arrived at the munchies! ;)

Always fuck up on my order. How hard is it to make some eggs and bacon. Jesus Christ. I been coming here for a long time but stop coming for three years because they always get my order wrong. Well started coming back and the last three times again the fucked up. I mean how stupid can we be. This will be the last time I step foot here. And the funny thing is when I tell them I’m the wrong one. I always get the same thing and they tell me no you said this. I been gettin the same breakfast everywhere I go so how are you gonna tell me what I said. Worst establishment ever hope the whole corporation goes out of business.

All time low. I come here a lot and order pretty much the same thing each time. It had steadily gone down each time I come. Today was the worst. and probably the last time we come here. All the food arrived cold and not cooked to order So sad as I really like this chain but this location s very poor

I feel like IHOP used to be better quality and now it’s on par with Dennys, but I do love having breakfast at any time, so when I get a craving and I don’t feel like a Lucky Boy breakfast burrito, I’ll come here. Last time I came, I took my car next door to the car wash and walked over for a bite. This worked out pretty well. The servers here are always nice and always get my order right, including not having meat on my plate(putting it on a side plate for the boyfriend). Friendly place, so we keep coming back.

I hadn’t eaten at this restaurant in years but I was going to a meeting in Pasadena and I had arrived in the area a little early. As I got off the 110 freeway I saw IHOP and decided eating a little unhealthy food would be a fun way to kill some time. It was about 3:00PM on a weekday. I went inside and I was the only customer in the whole restaurant. I ordered their steak and eggs, not expecting too much. When I got my food, I was blown away. It was great. I mean really-really good. I’ve gone back a couple times since then. The service has not been near as good as when I was the only customer in the place. In fact, sometimes it has been really bad. But, the food has remained really good. I can’t explain it. But, if you’re in the mood for steak and eggs, give this IHOP a try.

Don’t expect much from here, plus is that they open late, minus is that their sausage links were soggy tasting. For being a breakfast place I expected the sausages to be better, not spectacular, but at least average and these were below average. My friend loves the blueberry sauce here, I have never tried myself though. Overall, nice service, basic late night diner food, nothing to write home about.

A 2 star rating may be harsh, but I’m rating this place in a smaller scale because, dude, it’s ihop. There was nothing outright horrifying about my visit this morning. We were seated quickly and had out drinks and food orders in about ten minutes after arriving. Just as I began to drink and enjoy my coffee, I felt something on my foot. I look down and I see A HUGEFUCKINGSPIDER crawling on my foot. I quickly smacked it off and sat Indian style in the booth for the duration of my visit. Anyway. I guess my complaint is that the food was absolutely flavorless, restaurant seemed quite dirty. It is ihop though…

Even though the restaurant was packed and the hostess told us that the wait would be about 15 minutes this past Sunday, we were seated in about 5 minutes. Chicken and Waffles — you can’t beat Roscoe’s but the chicken fingers here were not bad, but the waffles were a little lacking, while they were light and crispy, I felt like they were too airy. Smokehouse Breakfast — this is my typical order from IHOP and everything was good, really love the fluffy pancakes.

Moderately priced, generally tasty breakfast food at all hours of the day/night! VIVALAFRENCHTOAST –not gourmet by any means –not brioche or any of those fancy schmancy breads –just plain delicious(my breakfast comfort food!) –not too soggy, not too crispy –lightly browned, buttery, eggy goodness SAUSAGE –nice snap(outer casing) –flavorful with hints of black pepper –light smokiness, not too salty WHIPPEDBUTTER –smooth, creamy, lightly salted –like CRACK, prepare to be addicted 24HOURS –perfect place before/after a crazy drunken night –late night breakfast that’s not jack in the box! –no bums, no crackheads, WIN! LOCATION –right off 110 in Pasadena BACON –FAIL!!! –oily soggy mess OR deep fried cardboard –NEVER crispy melt-in-your-mouth goodness =( –AVOID avoid avoid!!! The EGGS are fine, the cooks here seem to know how to cook an egg just the way I ask except«over medium.» It’s either easy or hard. It’s just an egg so I don’t fuss over it! Service-wise, it’s the same as it’s always been. It ranges from self-service(practically) to great service, and everything in between. Sometimes you’re greeted within seconds of approaching the host stand, other times, they let you stand there a bit while they finish up their conversations at a nearby booth. I heart breakfast food and I come here to fill that void in my life(and stomach), so I can tolerate their many inadequacies while others may not/cannot! Where else can you get a satisfying breakfast in Pasadena at 3am?

When reviewing a place like IHOP, it’s not really fair to match it up against a good diner or some mom and pop place. IHOP is very much it’s own entity and this review is framed in that context. I’ve only been to about six or seven IHOPs in my time, but that’s the measure I will hold this one up to. As IHOPs go, this one is a fairly small one. It has a bit of a diner«feel» to it and you can tell by the exterior that it’s been here a while. It’s not rundown by any means, but nor is it sparkling new like the one in my town of Elizabeth, NJ. My friend nd I were seated very quickly when we entered, and despite it being around 9:30am and peak breakfast time, we had no trouble getting a clean and comfortable booth. I flipped through the menu and was happy to see that there are now some lower calorie options on the menu. This was the last portion of a vacation where I had eaten very badly, so I figure it’d be nice to get back on the(somewhat) healthy bandwagon! I ordered a 450 cal meal that was made up of french toast with bananas on it, some scrambled eggs and two slices of turkey bacon. This isn’t their normal super thick french toast, it’s basically french toast made with two slices of whole wheat bread — which is a GOOD thing as that’s how I make it at home. A bit of syrup drizzled on and the bananas worked together to make the toast very tasty. The eggs were well cooked and the turkey bacon was hot and crispy. Our waitress kept the coffee coming(we emptied out one container easily) and the manager was very nice when I asked for the address of the restaurant. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience at this IHOP and would not mind a repeat visit at all!

I’m not a fan of pancakes, so I rarely come to IHOP, but I actually really enjoyed their low cost, no frills breakfast. I got a spinach scramble, which came with your choice of bacon or sausage, HASHBROWNS(mMMMmm — my favorite) and 2 pancakes(which I gave away), all for $ 5.99! Obviously, everything had to be slathered in copious amounts of ketchup but the portion size was perfect and can’t complain about the quality for that price. The best part was our server! For some strange reason, she caught on that it was someone’s birthday in our party of 11 but it was totally just a joke. She came out, SUPEREXCITED with a full size sundae, made us all sing to her, and even got a bit of whipped cream & fed her a little of it. LOL. Most hilarious breakfast ever. IHOP is good for big groups because it is so easy to pay with separate checks. Easy parking in the back.
