They should probably call their ‘small’(way overpriced) ice coffee … Miniature. Not so fun size. A mere tasting. A sample cup. Anything but small. What a waist of 2.75 with about 5 sips to the cup. And it’s not even a «but its just so delicious it’s worth it ». With ice it’s prolly equivalent to an espresso amount of liquid. They get 2 stars for effort in trying to be awesome. It’s not terrible coffee. They’re coffee is better than Dunkin donuts. If that helps It’s just not worth the price, personally speaking.

I absolute love their Chai Latte! My aunt had been to India, where she had the best chai latte of her life and she said his one was very close! Go get a cup.

I love this place! Great place to come and get some work done, school work, general computer work or even the more technical stuff too. They have SECURE public wifi for their customers and the service is always superb. They are friendly and the place is always clean too. The bristas are great at what they do and take pride in their work. I even got the«Latte of the Day» with the design they do!

This place is GREAT! Met an old friend there last night and the atmosphere was spot on! Nice and cozy and the staff was so sweet. We will be returning … especially for the open mic night :)

They literally roast their own coffee beans here which makes for a great cup of coffee. My wife likes the fresh loose tea and my son the mango smoothies, plus they have some tasty baked goods. The interior is very nice and their restroom is very clean. Great place to enjoy a relaxing cup of coffee or for a quick caffeine fix and a snack. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

I was completely not expecting a nice coffee shop in downtown Patchogue. Very impressed. Looks like it is right out of SOHO.

Wanted to try this coffee spot Sunday morning for coffee and pastries. We were disappointed. The coffee wasn’t that good and they barely have any bakery items to choose from. The environment is cute but most of the tables and chairs were taken. Also, the cashier was lacking personality. Overall it was a meh experience…

I go to Roast almost every day. The coffee is very good, and the staff is wonderful. The few times I’ve had a negative experience, the management team resolved it quickly. The environment is generally quiet, with the exception of Open Mic nights, and it is a good place to think. The drip coffee is good. The pour overs and chemex are great. The staff think deeply about what they are doing, and they do not just treat it like a job. Their passion is on display. Of their frequently available coffees(some of their roasts are limited time offerings) the Yirgacheffe is my favorite. If you have a problem with the product or service, I encourage you to reach out to the management. They have been great in those rare moments I needed to address something. It is a fantastic example of what we are missing by not having strong local main streets.

I like roast. A few of the baristas are fantastic, the others seem bored. Coffee isn’t bad. I’m happy to support local business. My biggest grievance is their bathrooms. DISGUSTING! I don’t get it. Please, please do something about this. The floors look like they’ve never been mopped, urine on the seat, paper towels overflowing the garbage onto the ground. I’ve been to Roast dozens and dozens of times, always filthy.

Came here on a Sunday, and there was a «private» party but the place was still open to customers. That private party totally ruined our experience. Kids everywhere, really really loud, no where to sit. Atmosphere was great otherwise. I’m trying to look past it because my Shortbread Cookie Latte was amazing. So smooth and perfect. I also had a piece of Marble Coffee Cake. Big portion and pretty tasty, even though it was served cold. Would’ve preferred it at room temperature. Staff was friendly. I’m willing to try this place again.

Soffe was really good. Big cozy couches to relax on. It was a little dirty. The floor has stirrers and wrappers in it and it was a little dusty. Would go back for a to go coffee maybe not say next time unless it’s a bit cleaner.

I’m a fan of my neighborhood coffee shop! Patchogue is not my hometown but I find that there are fewer and fewer non-chain coffee establishments on Long Island. Their coffee and tea selection is great, they rotate seasonally with their specialty drinks and have a few breakfast items to pair with your locally roasted beans as well. My boyfriend and I are a fan of their cold brew coffee as well as their pink drink and loose leaf teas. Besides their eats they are engaging with the local community by providing wall space for local artists and hosting an always packed open mic night. I’ve been going here for four years now and I haven’t looked back. On thing I wish is that they had more seating! The open mic nights can get pretty packed and your lucky if you can even find a place to stand. All in all its cozy and personable atmosphere makes Roast one of my favorite coffee shops on the Island.

Roast is an awesome spot in the heart of town and I’m sure they won’t disappoint. Go here instead of Starbucks and enjoy the cozy setting. Open late, comfortable, and relaxing unless it’s one of those busy patchogue nights. They just need to show their full menu options a bit more but great stuff. Hot Caramel apple cider, buccaneer Tea Latte is an absolute must(ask for the fancy mocha drizzle), everything’s usually good or great. Good for before or after a dinner date in town. I’ve had many great conversations between those walls and the staff is wonderful. Now is the season for their pumpkin latte which is only around a limited time as they use real and fresh pumpkin in the recipe, perfected over time and worth the try.

Had a business meeting here earlier tonight. What a great coffeehouse. The atmosphere is cozy and den-like. Dimly lit, but with quaint desk lamps on many of the tables. It was pretty quiet overall. Several readers, a few people studying, and several others just hanging out. The barista was friendly. Helped me right away. I ordered a large cold brew which was delicious. I don’t think I’ve EVER had coffee that wasn’t laden with heaping spoonfuls of sugar in it. This coffee was so flavorful and robust, I only added a very small amount of half and half to it. No sugar at all. It was awesome! I will definitely go here again when I am in the area. Can’t wait to try some of their other beverages. They also had a small display case of baked goods as well, but I didn’t try any goodies on this visit. Maybe next time. :-)

You have to try their Iced Coconut Americano! You will not regret it. The store’s interior is beautifully set as well; you will find the urge to grab a book and sip your coffee as you sit on their couches or chairs. Love this place. Seriously underrated.

Whoa! This place is awesome! The coffee you drink here is roasted in front of your eyes! And it makes for an excellent espresso! Add the nice service the really low price this makes a jewel of a place! You can also buy the coffee for a good cup of Joe at home… Really good!

If you enjoy a warm cozy atmosphere to share a hot cup of joe or tea with a friend, lover or possible future lover I highly recommend Roast. I had a chai tea latte that was spicy sweat and a blueberry scone which was equally as sweet and fresh. Roast has plenty of tables and 3 couches wrapping around a large book case filled with board games, books and magazines giving you that familiar feeling of being in a relatives home. I will surely visit there soon as should you. Egg

What a cozy and cute little coffee shop located right in the heart of Main St. in Patchogue. I came here yesterday for the first time and immediately felt relaxed as it has that old school coffee shop feel, way more authentic than you get from your run of the mill Starbucks. I purchased a hot Chai tea lattee, which was sweet and spicy but just enough of both to balance each other out. I also got a blueberry scone which tasted fresh and was a nice little thing to snack on. The atmosphere is great, a bit of dim lighting but enough where you would still be comfortable to sit back and read a book in their little«living room» area. They have couches, games and a bookshelf in that area, and besides that there are plenty of tables to sit and have a chat with a friend. Loved the feel of this place and will definitely visit again!

This place was rather bleak on the inside… Thank god for that cute barista. Maybe I was missing something, but they did not seem to have a lot of options. I got a tea, which was there special blend. It was kind of weak. Although it was supposed to be packed with vitamin c. I just think there are a lot of other great cafes on Long Island.
