This Dunkin Donuts is the heart of downtown Peabody! Always busy but they do a excellent job. Food and coffee are always great. Service is an A+. The only minus is it’s not drive through. So you have to run in but like their slogan says«America runs on Dunkin’s»

AWFUL!!! If this is the Dunkins directly across from Bill and Bibs Roast Beef, then it is hands down the worst service I have EVER experienced. I live close by and go to Dunkin’ Donuts at least twice a day. My friends had brought me what was supposed to be a medium hot vanilla chai. When I brought it back to the Dunkin’ Donuts 25 minutes later just wanting to exchange it for a vanilla chai and I told her I would pay the $.25-$.50 difference. The tall, dark hair and olive skin extremely rude with broken English speaking woman behind the counter had the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. She was so rude I actually called her a B and then she proceeded to try and videotape me. I will never ever go in that Dunkin’ Donuts again. While I was walking out I met a woman in a Dunkin’ Donuts uniform who was getting off the bus to attend her shift at another Dunkin’ Donuts nearby. Her name was Crystal. I explained to her what happened and she without hesitation offered to help me. Apparently she works at a few other Dunkin’ Donuts in close proximity to this location. She was fantastic! If she’s not a manager she should be! She wasted no time and brought the medium coffee back in and told the VERY rude employee to make me another one as a Chi. The employee would not give me her name but had no trouble taking out her cell phone to try and videotape me. From now on I will be visiting Crystal at the Andover Street location! Thank you Crystal I have worked in fast food restaurants and have been a hair stylist for over 15 years and know how much customer service is valued. Crystal is an amazing employee and Dunkin’ Donuts is very lucky to have her! I was also told that the managers name is Joe at this location, but Crystal informed me that was not his name. I will be calling corporate to inform them of the very rude and ignorant employee who has no problem taking her phone out to videotaping customers, but refuses to help them. I will also be telling corporate about that wonderful employee Crystal who went out of her way to make a customer happy even if it wasn’t in her store.

This afternoon we needed a cup of coffee after shopping, so we decided to stop in at this Dunkin’ Donuts location. When we walked in we were warmly greeted by two employees who took our order and quickly made our coffees. This branch was small, but the restaurant was clean, the staff was great and the coffees were made perfectly. The staff here had to be the best part of our experience. They were very polite and after finding out that they spoke Portuguese, we had a nice conversation before parting ways. The only thing that could have made this location better would be a drive-thru, but it was an amazing walk in location.

This place would get five stars as far as Dunks go if the freakin in-and-out situation wasn’t such a cluster. If you come here before 9am, you have a good chance of not getting a spot. If you come here between 2 – 7, you have a good chance of not being able to even get in the lot with all the traffic in Peabody Square. That said, this is the most consistent Dunks I’ve ever had, and even though it doesn’t have a drive-thru, it’s worth it to me to brave the craziness for consistently fresh coffee, cooked-through sandwiches(ever had one of those nasty undercooked, luke-warm egg sandwiches from a place that rushes? GROSS), and my order has been right every single time for the last decade. Tough to beat that.

I have to amend this review after my experience here last week. I ordered my usual bagel and coffee, and handed over my debit card. After swiping it once or twice, the woman behind the counter says, «No…» and hands it back to me. I said…“Huh?,” and she says(rather loudly)…“There’s no money on it.” Let me tell you… living on a budget forces me to check my balance every day, sometimes twice a day. There most certainly was money in there and I told her that it was rude to announce something like that to everyone in line. I found out later that my card’s security had been compromised and my bank had rightly locked my card to protect me. It was not a case of not having money, it was declined, which would have been much more tasteful to say, and even then, it should have been whispered to me rather than announced. I know we’re dealing with fast food here, but I was pretty peeved.
