Wow! An employee dropped a lid on the carpet that it was all dirty and wet, picked up and put it on the drink and took it to an order from the drive thru. Been here a few times and fries are always either warm or cold.

I went through the drive through. Placed my order. She repeated it as I ordered and was fine. When in pulled up I paid, the lady was very nice. I had to wait quite a bit. The lady apologize and said they had a new cook they were training. After I got my food. We drove away and I realized I didn’t get my drinks. So I went back through the drive through(I had 3 young kids in the car. I was not going to park and get them out) I waited again and then when I got to the window told her I never got my drinks. She apologized and made my drinks for me. Then before I drove away I started to check my order. I found that one of my burgers was made completely wrong. I was not about to go through the drive through and wait again. I had somewhere I needed to be. So I called and told them the error. They said to come back and they would fix it anytime that day. I tried to be very polite each time because i know that wouldnt help anyone. Well I got to where I was going and realized that they forgot 2 orders of fries… I didn’t even bother calling again… how many times can you mess up? I am sadly disappointed because I think their burgers taste wonderful. But with service like that… I just can’t return

I ordered their Cod sandwich with onion rings. It was a carry out order. When I opened the order at home I noticed the sandwich was flat as a pancake. It had what looked like was a low quality frozen fish patty in it. It also had old rotting lettuce on it. It was nothing at at like what I expected. The advertisement displays a really good looking thick sandwich. The onion rings were so so over cooked I could not eat them. I called the store and spoke with Gilbert the manager. He couldn’t explain why I was served such crap. He did not hesitate to simply hang up the phone on me. These people should be ashamed. Little wonder the place was empty when I visited.

The worst fast food in Pearland! Do yourself a favor and avoid this location. French fries were ice cold, and the burger was soooo disappointing! Next time it’s back to Whataburger!

My first visit today around 3pm. Disappointing Drive-thru order taker talked like we were in the black ghetto. Not racists, just observant. To make it worse he blurred the words as though he had a mouth full of marbles. Oh, he had the personality of a rock. He had trouble hearing/understanding me and I him. That should have been my clue. Only one car in front of me as I pulled up. Window server was another ‘rock’. So far, I’m not feeling like a valued customer. Got my bag and drink. Pulled around back. Fries in my Natural Beef combo were just barely warm. Meat patty was only slightly warmer than the tomatoes that were stacked in the center of the stack. Found them after eating about half way in. No napkin!!! Burger juice on my nice clothes. Only good report is veggies and bread tasted fresh and ripe. Dared not ask for a do-over. Fearful of what I would have gotten back. Once was enough. No going back.

I’ve been to this locations couple times now, food has always been good, much better flavor and quality than any other fast food burgers. I like that they have an app that allows you to get discounts for checking in. My experience had been fine until they got my burger completely wrong 1 day. No biggie, mistakes happen, I didn’t not eat the wrong burger, I decided to take my receipt and the mistake burger back for the correct one. What a revealing experience it was, see I had always went through the drive thru, never walked in here before. I stood there for 10 mins at the counter watching 3 teenage girls gossip, laugh, and complain about shifts. They made eye contact with me and did not even say hi or 1 minute mam. None of them were busy with anything but just wanted to finish their conversation! I believe they saw my receipt and old burger and we’re afraid about a complaint on the way(I just wanted to receive the correct one) one girl came up and asked to take my order, I explained what happened and she yelled to the back for another to be made. After 20 mins I still was waiting, when I checked on what was going on, apparently the cook thought her friend, which was the cashier was requesting it and meant she wanted it on break for later. So there I was wasting time, money, and annoyed that I had been a customer here in the first place. I won’t be going back until the ghetto teens are gone.

They have the BEST biscuits this side of I 610 Their burgers are innovative and delicious. Sometimes the service is slow due to volume and relatively young crew. They are always joyful.

Sitting in line forever and a day to place my order. Had to repeat my order twice. Waited 3 more days for my food. Mr hood good messed up my drink, acted dumb as hell when we said something about it. Get my sandwich and of course they had to screw that up. Thank you Carls Jr for once again succeeding in making me spend an arm and leg for an incorrect order.

Tastes like a burned whopper though the chicken stars are yummy. I went a few times with the family and it gets the job done as far a hunger goes. May be a little cheaper than its competitor but not as satisfying.

Service is good maybe 50 percent of the time. Received cold and old fries in drive thru, came back around and asked politely for hot fries, manager looked at me like I was crazy and was not very happy about giving me new fries. How could you give people cold food?

It took them more than a minute to acknowledge us standing at the counter. Sure we were still looking over the menu, but a simple«Hi, let us know when you’re ready» would’ve been courteous. The manager, who eventually walked up to us, smiled at some point and gave out dry humor. My burger SUCKED. I was so disappointed. I love Carl’s Jr and I look forward to eating it every time, which lately its been a while since I’m unemployed and just moved here to Pearland. I got my usual, western bacon burger. Pretty hard to screw up right? Wrong. The patty, the bacon and the two miserable onion rings were dry and seemed old. You shouldn’t have to slather your burger with their cold condiments to get it down your throat. Fries, dry as well. This made me very sad and pissed that I wasted my limited funds. Should’ve gone to Whataburger for that price.

Normally pretty good but tonight was just horrible. Not busy at all and took forever. Dumb kid working the window doesn’t speak clearly and gave me kid size straws. I ask for regular ones and he gives me kids size again.

Where I’m from, we refer to Carl’s JR as Hardee’s. they are the exact same restaurant just branded differently. This place has hands down the best biscuits of any drive-thru. Their biscuits are mad from scratch. It’s been a minute since I’ve tried their other menu items, but I recall the, being very good as well.

This place was talked up by so many people that when I finally made it through one, I have to say I was disappointed. I have a bacon avocado burger. It was OK. Nothing special. I heard the fries were awesome, but ended up they were basically like Burger King’s new fries. My final verdict: it did not live up to the hype. It is just a fast food burger joint. Maybe a sliver of a step up from Jack in the Box, but probably not as good as Whataburger or even Sonic.

I’m a fan of Carl’s Jr. from living in Vegas &CA and was excited to learn they finally arrived in the Houston area. Give them some time to carve out a niche here and these rednecks will love them too. I had good experiences here and the La Porte location and will be back repeatedly.

The service here is consistently bad/slow. I gave them numerous chances because I used to love Hardy’s and frequented Carl’s Jr. in Dallas when I lived there. In all honesty I was excited when this placed opened but with numerous burger places so close I suggest you skip this place.

The breakfast here is really good. If you like your biscuit lathered in butter. Ive had it twice and it’s really good but heavy. The chicken stripes taste like homemade. The burgers remind me strongly of what burger king use to be. The chicken apple walnut salad had a good mixed green salad. The only bad thing is the day I order a salad, one of the main ingredients was bad that day. The walnuts had been recalled and had to be sent back, so the manager just doubled the cranberries.

Look out, Houston. Carl’s Jr has landed in the greater area. On my my drives via 71 to Austin, I’d frequently gaze longingly at the newly opened Carl’s Jr in Bastrop. We never stopped though, since they built that bad boy after the construction crew had finished the highway overpass that let travelers fly through Bastrop. So the last time I had visited a Carl’s Jr was on one special night, five years ago( ). With the memory still lingering in my head, I took it upon myself to try a Carl’s Jr in Houston. Finally, an opportunity presented as I found myself shopping in the strip malls in Pearland. A visit to the Gold Star awaited. I wasn’t disappointed. Aside from In-N-Out(in a whole ‘nother stratosphere), the Carl’s Jr Six Dollar Burger is still the gold standard for drive-through fast food burgers. I mean, that bad boy is crazy delicious. And still, after all these years: #VY4Life.

I forget that at least half of America has yet to try a Carl’s Jr burger. It was on our list of things to do when visiting California some years ago, along with In-N-Out Burger. Since my husband is more a burger decipher, I’ll agree to his opinion that these are some delicious burgers. And if you’re no beefeater, there’s also Turkey, Mushroom, Chicken and Fish. I didn’t think much of the fries or my salad(which was actually missing some ingredients). This location is among the few first Carl’s Jrs so people have been lining up late into the night to sample their selections. We probably endured 30 minutes driving thru and still lacked salad dressing, napkins and straws. I am so glad Pearland scored a rapidly growing restaurant. Just a little curious how long the interest will last with(rumored) Dairy Queen setting up camp just across the street, and compared to nearby McD’s, Burger King, Mooyah, and Five Guys.
