Being a Texas native and used to southern cooking I have tried various types of wild games and native foods. I was surprised when a coworker invited me to this place as a «authentic» Filipino restaurant. The food was cold-cold, old-old, and tasted something like a mixture of **** and week old road kill. My coworker is native to the Philippians and ended up buying my lunch as he was embarrassed of the rancid example of his native food. We both left hungry and angry!

Great Filipino food at a locally owned restaurant! Had the buffet and food tasted great with fresh ingredients. Atmosphere is simple and very clean. Will be back!

Small restaurant that used to serve good Filipino food but its obvious cost cutting is affecting both food and service. Food was cold and should not have been served, microwave oven was broken so employee removed from dining area, credit card machine was broken so needed to pay in cash but employee did not have changed for a $ 20 dollar bill. After complaining about the cold food the employee acknowledged that the warmers were not working and offered to provide a 10% discount but after reviewing the receipt no discount were applied. Regardless a 10% discount does not cover the cold food where the fat where starting to congeal over all the dishes. A responsible owner would have closed down the restaurant until their warming table was fixed. The warming table heat lamps were even replaced with florescent light bulbs… pathetic. I do not see this restaurant being open much longer.

Delicious food and great selection. Restaurant is small but extremely clean. No need to go Houston main branch. My new favorite place.

My knowledge of Filipino food is very limited, but the food I have tried in the past at pot lucks was always delicious. I basically only knew the name of 3 items prior to going here. We were looking for something different to eat at lunch, and I remembered I bookmarked this restaurant. The restaurant is tiny and there are not very many tables. We walked in and were greeted right away. You can order a la carte or have the buffet. We chose to partake in the buffet. All the food looked delicious, but as previous reviews stated, none of the items were labeled. Luckily the person working the counter came by and explained to us all the different items. I’m not even going to try and spell or name the items we had, but most of it was tasty. There were quite a few dishes, but 3 or 4 were really good. I did feel like some of the food was not fresh. Some of the food seemed reheated or not at ideal temperatures. That being said, the flavor was on point. Overall, I may go and order things a la carte. It’s good to know we have this option in Pearland.

I was in the mood for something different for lunch and decided to try this place out via Unilocal of course. First impression the location was located next to a gas station be careful not to pass the place by .Once inside the restaurant is very small i counted about 8 tables. Its buffet style with paper plates at about 8.49 all you can eat. While i placed my order and headed for the food i was very clueless since im not really familiar with filipino food. There were no tags identifying what i was sampling. But I was informed by the host of all the dishes that were offered and i was told the history about the establishment. Definitely a problem they will rectify for those who dont have a clue about filipino food and told they will be using identifying tags. Katy has one coming up for a future grand opening .I also had the chance to witness two customers as they entered the restaurant and were offered free samples of the food to try and from their reactions they enjoyed the food. Pancid, mini egg rolls, and a dish of oxtails in peanut butter were awesome. They also change up their menu daily.

I have been eating at their establishment for years, well, this location in Pearland is new, but they have a much bigger one on Bissonnett called Best of Filipiniana. Filipiniana Again is like a hole in a wall kind of place, nothing fancy, but their food is amazing! I eat there once a week. I love their chicken adobo the noodle is pretty amazing too. They not only have a buffet, they also have ala cart and catering. I recommend getting their buffet, it’s much cheaper than take out. Also, go for lunch or brunch only, they close at 6pm Tuesday thru Saturday and 4pm on Sunday.

Went for lunch around 1:30 pm on a Tuesday. It felt like the indoor temp was well over 80 degrees. Told the guy working the counter, and his excuse was that it was hot due to the heat from the steam table. Their space is small to begin with so that’s no excuse(to not keep it cool). Buffet was overpriced for kids at $ 6 per kid under 10; they don’t eat that much. Pancit was too mushy/wet that my kids wouldn’t even eat it. There was only 2 – 3 good dishes on the steam table. They were out of calamari when we were serving ourselves, and the guy saw and said they’re making more. After 45 min they finally brought out more, but we couldn’t take the heat anymore. We’ll stick with the OTHER Filipino buffet. Only reason we went here was because they were closed for maintenance.
