THISPLACEIS A SCAM. I ordered naans to go because they now have a restaurant section. The guy literally microwaved a pack of FROZEN Deep Naan that costs $ 2.50 for a pack of 5 and sold them to me as freshly baked naans for double the price. The naan was the size of my palm. When I confronted him about this, he said«oh well too bad, you asked for naan and you got it so you’re not getting your money back.» He refused to give me my money back or make fresh naans. I will make sure I NEVEREVER go to this place again even if that means I need to drive a 20 extra miles to go elsewhere.

I have been living in the West Pearland area for over eight years now and buying food from nearby caterers, including, Touch of Asia for over five years. This place is a grocery store that sells Indian food and soon to be a restaurant. Born and raised in an Indian household, I believe that I have the ability to appreciate and critique Indian food that I buy to satiate my taste buds. Below are the parameters that I would like to evaluate Touch of Asia. They are working on opening a restaurant, so I would write another review once I dine there and evaluate based on collated input of dining experiences. Pros and Cons 1. Food is authentic and prepared freshly at their kitchen. Mostly better than your average Indian restaurant. The lady/owner is friendly. 2. Very punctual on orders placed and time frame agreed for pick-up. 3. The ambiance and maintenance is very average. 4. I heard that some Naan breads are not freshly made, but I couldn’t tell. Specific Entrees to I would mention worth craving for(I am a vegetarian): 1. Baghare Bengan(Eggplant in tangy gravy) 2. Achari Bindi(Pickled Okra) 3. Punjabi Kadhi Pakora(mildly spiced yogurt with Pakoda) 4. Arvi curry 5. All of their Paratha breads, sometimes we love to eat them for breakfast. I have heard that their chicken options are very tasty. Bottom line: Food is the main attraction of this place and I would definitely recommend to try. The store owner’s ability to meet and greet/warmth towards customers is subpar though he does not mean that way. The review reflects the opinions of many I have talked to, before I decided to write an unbiased review. I would primarily go there for their yummy food and I hope they improve their customer service and ambiance. I wish them continued success!

A great selection of groceries and Indian items. They have very good samosas. I advise getting them from here for parties. They make them fresh. This might look a little dodgy, but they have good quality things.

This place looks a bit dodgy, next to a gas station, but the selection of groceries is pretty good. The best item here are the samosas. Call ahead and order, and you can pick up hot. Very good, best in town.
